There was never any doubt about the depth of the feelings that Ellie and Ian had for each other and everyone in their lives knew it as well. The only thing standing in their way was that due to Ellie’s past she didn’t believe in love while Ian needed her to acknowledge it and when she couldn’t it resulted in two broken hearts.
Ian is now back in town and Ellie is feeling betrayed as not only did her family not tell her, but he is working for the man she hates the most. If that isn’t bad enough, he has both her heart and head in turmoil. As the danger escalates around them so does the heat between them but will this be their second chance or are they destined to end in heartbreak once again?
The characters are compelling, whether they are at love or war, the storyline has surprises you don’t see coming and leaves you wanting the next book in the series to see what the future holds for this family.

I have no words. Not three, not two, not even one. I have none left at this point. I thought I knew what I wanted to say about this book until I got to that ending, and then everything was wiped from my brain. This book was filled with drama and angst and suspense and tension. As well as a lot of spite and snark. I love seeing the way this family pulls together, but at the same time, they’re really good at stressing each other out. I was confused by the fact that there were several places that I thought would have made logical end points to this book, but the story kept going past all of them to give us a cliff-hanger instead. I was going to read the next book anyway. I didn’t need the cliff-hanger to make me want to keep reading the series. I’ve kinda gone and fallen in love with these characters and I want to know even more about them.

Plenty of angst filled the pages of this book. The characters ate well written, relatable and believable. The story has so much emotion thst it draws you into the drama and makes you feel you’re part of the story. Great writing

Great series. Loved the back story and love story of Ellie and Ian. And that cliffhanger! Please hurry up with Wyatt’s book! How I enjoy the continuation of each couple’s stories along with the main characters.

Three Words is brilliantly written, second chance romance with suspense, passion and heat also with a little intrigue and a little bit scary in parts. That has you calling for help on Ellie's behalf.
When I think that Kelly could not write anything better than the previous two books in this wonderful series, along comes Three Words. I fell in love with Whiskey River Road from the very first book. Each new book follows one of The Calhoun siblings.
This is Ellie Calhoun's story, and has gone straight to the top, as my favourite book in this amazing series! I love the others too! I didn't want to finish this book, not that it is bad but it's really good. Three Words felt like I was actually a resident of Salt Lick, on the family ranch with everyone, so real.
I thoroughly love this book!! I was hooked from the very first page until the last I cannot fault this in any way at all, I definitely recommend this, please grab your copy today and join the Calhoun's in Whiskey River Road.

Three Words is the 3rd book in the Whiskey River Road series and is Ellie’s story, who is the sassy sexy sister of Clem and Bear from earlier books. This novel starts out with a furious Ellie after she finds out that Ian Daughtry has returned to town. Ian is the one that got away, the one that broke Ellie’s heart, and the one that changed her. Why did he leave? Because of three words, she could never get the courage to say out loud. It doesn’t take long to realize how much they both still feel for one another, but there are other issues affecting them all including Watkins being up to no good again and some new characters with a surprising link to the Calhouns.
As with the others in Kelly Moore’s Whiskey River Road series, Three Words is a non-stop thrill ride from beginning to end. Whether it be hilarious scenes, sexy scenes, or suspenseful scenes – this will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. In the previous books in the series, my impression of Ellie was someone that used to be a sweet and lovely girl but eventually embraced a major wild side. Her character is so perfectly developed in Three Words to where the real Ellie, not the wild girl we’ve come to know, is slowly revealed with each turn of the page. The new character and the one that crushed Ellie’s heart years ago is Ian. And prepare to swoon. He’s a total alpha male with a serious soft spot for Ellie. They drive each other crazy most of the time either fighting like crazy or fighting to keep their clothes on, but it’s evident all along how sweet and loving this man is. Again, prepare to swoon…
Besides Ellie and Ian, there is plenty of drama with the rest of the Calhouns, and of course, plenty of laughs. What I really loved though, was although Three Words is technically Ellie’s book, Moore provides plenty of action and insight regarding the other characters. Huge secrets are revealed, and all the characters face some major struggles in this book. Although I laughed along with each character while reading this, there was also a moment where I was literally on the edge of my seat and holding my breath.
The writing is that good.
As with the others in this series, Three Words comes with my highest recommendation. Kelly Moore embodies the best qualities in writers allowing her to take several different genres, mix them all together, and create a perfect reading combination. Prepare to laugh, cry, get stressed, mad, and everything in between. But prepare to fall in love with this novel!

Kelly brought out every contention, vexation and stubborn tendency with this skillfully composed delight, riding one riveting storyline and captivating plot, ratcheting up the intensity wrapping this gem up sleek, shiny and tight. Braided, bound and tightly woven, displaying the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in it's simplicity and awe-inspiring in it's depth. Obliterating the boundaries and pushing the limits, displaying the illusions and testing realities, getting this gem weighed and balanced, booting this jewel into the eye of the storm, slamming it into overdrive, launching it into a hissy with a mind-blowing culmination. Shenanigans, escapades and havoc run amuck, rousting the drama, anxiety, intrigue, turmoil, underlying threats, secrets, mounting suspense and intense situations along with a double dose of quick wit, you have one jaw dropping experience. The attraction and chemistry sizzles, drawing you deeper until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant through your veins. The characters are complex and genuine with traits and qualities that add depth and realism that blend and flow, transforming into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions that feel as though you were transported to ground zero with them. The Calhouns are a close-knit but snarky angsty bunch who seems to attract trouble like flies to honey. They say that the more you have then the more there are those who will try and take it from you. This bad dude wants it all and then some!
In the midst of each book, there is a sweet, funny, and heartbreaking love story. In Three Words we have Ellie and Ian. Theirs was a fiery love story in the making until one broke the other's heart. Both seem to have blamed the other, depending on whose point of view you look at it from.
Rekindling the fire was no problem. Clearing away the old hurts was another issue.
While these two are pushing and pulling at each other, there is a menacing villain planning the ruination of the whole clan. And a surprise arrival that no one saw coming!
The steam was enough to scorch the earth. The banter and fun were so Kelly Moore. ( How many names can you come up with for those things? lol ) And the devastation will break your heart. Now as we wait patiently for Wyatts's story my heart cheers for the phenomenal conclusion to Ellie and Ian's story. Smiling for Bear, Nita, and Missy. And I ache for Clem, Boone, and Wyatt.

Book three in the Whiskey River Road series is worth so much more than just a five-star rating!! Ellie and Ian set the pages on fire with their second chance romance! We get to catch up with the other couples from Books One and Two (Clem and Boone and Bear and Nita) as well as find out about new members of the family! It appears that good-old Daddy Calhoun was not as perfect after all as he wants his kids to believe he was!! But this is not just a love story. There is a real danger lurking for the Calhoun Ranch and all of the members of the family!! Even though this book does end on a cliff hanger as far as discovering the true source of the danger to the ranch, Ellie and Ian are able to get the elusive HEA that they should have had with each other from before fear and pride got in their way!! I can hardly wait for the next book to come out! Will it be about Wyatt or how about the newly discovered twins or could Ethan stop pining for Ellie and find his own HEA? Whose story will it be and how much more will be revealed regarding the conflict and danger surrounding the ranch?! Oh, the possibilities!!

Just when you think the Calhoun family will have peace, the hits keep coming. This one is focused on Ellie, the town’s good time girl who sees the one man who has ever held her heart, Ian. He’s back in town working for the enemy and the two still have their sparks, now Ellie just needs to be able to voice what she feels for Ian, or he may walk out once again.
The story has steam, some suspense, surprises, twists and turns and all the Calhoun siblings, their significant others and the dad. If you haven’t read the prior books, it’s highly recommended as almost all the characters of the Calhoun clan, get their POV written at least once, which may leave you lost if you don’t know their story.
The read is fast paced with great banter and snark that will leave you laughing and some tender moments. Just when you think all is well, there’s a twist with a cliffhanger, which I am not a fan of as I like my HEA��s for a couples to be a one and done, and hopefully the next read will bring HEA’s for the last brother and everyone else.

The saga of Whiskey River Road continues. The Calhoun family can’t seem to catch a break with someone trying to take over their land. Watkins is now trying every trick to get their land. I couldn’t believe that Ellie was working for him even though I knew she was trying to get information. She was sure playing with fire. I felt bad that she got blindsided that Ian was back in town, and he now under contract with Watkins. I don’t know how anyone could be around the two with the sparks that were always flying off the them. Ellie is one stubborn woman who has a mind of her own. They both love each other deeply, but the two keep making the same mistakes because of their past. There are other things going on with the rest of the family that need to be worked out. There is also a big secret that no one is expecting that comes out. I didn’t want to put the book down once I started reading it! I am already looking forward to the next book in the series. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

What I love the most about this series is that even thou each book is about a specific Calhoun sibling, there is always a story including everyone and different POV.
Ellie is a wild untamed horse ! She takes and doesn't care about her sexcapade no strings attached relationships. She won't open her heart to anyone and we finally get to find out why. Ian is back and he won't stop until he gets what he wants.
Love the sassy mouthy Calhoun sisters !
Once again drama follows the clan and it only brings this family closer....well almost.
And of course Kelly Moore throws a couple of surprises and a nice curve ball ! Definitely needs to be on anyone TBR list ! It's funny , steamy, filled with secrets , family drama and a page turner !
Can't wait to see where the next book will take us !

Fantastic! Man, can this girl write. This author is in my top 5 list and she can write books that keep you up til the wee hours. Just when we thought, The Calhoun family were all going to have their HEA someone shows up, trying to take over their land. Watkins is now trying every trick to get their land and who knew Ellie was working for him (under cover who knows). She was still hurting Ian blindside. This pair is so attracted they light fires everywhere they go. I luv Ellie’s stubbornness for the most part but she sure has a mind of her own. A few unforeseen twists kept me captivated including one whopper of a secret you won’t see coming. I can’t wait for the next, and as a matter of fact, I’ll probably re-read the whole series so far.

I have read many of Kelly Moore’s books and she always makes me want the next book NOW, lol. This is the third book in the Whiskey River Road series and it didn’t disappoint. This is the second chance romance about Ellie and Ian. If you love family, suspense, romance, and laughter, then you should definitely be reading this author. She pulls you in and makes you sad to get to the end. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say this beautiful story will have you reading past your bedtime. I CAN’T wait for the next book in this series, that’s how good they are.

Each book gets better.
I am finding this series of books to be outstanding Three Words book three is just as brilliant. It is written so well there is passion, steamy heat within a suspenseful tale. Ellie Calhoun's character was just splendid and Ian well he just the right guy for Ellie. There is action and secrets along with struggles they have to face, but there is also humor. This is a book that I highly recommend and as for books one and two, you really should have those in your library too. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Oh my gosh! Those are MY three words for Ellie and Ian’s story. This is what happens when Kelly Moore puts proverbial pen to paper! You get an emotional rollercoaster you just want to keep on riding.
I have to admit, Ellie was not my favorite person at first. She feels it...why can’t she just say it? And was Ian’s reaction the right one? These are just a couple things I struggled with throughout the book.
But everyone in the Calhoun family gets a voice in every book in this series. So, we get to hear from everyone! It’s wonderful!
And the ending will just blow you away!!

I have to admit, Ellie was not my favorite person at first. She feels it...why can’t she just say it? And was Ian’s reaction the right one? These are just a couple things I struggled with throughout the book.
But everyone in the Calhoun family gets a voice in every book in this series. So, we get to hear from everyone! It’s wonderful!
And the ending will just blow you away!!

Wow! soo much happened in this book, we find out why Ellie is so crazy with her risks and bed hopping as well as the ridiculous danger she is putting her self in for her family. A shocking secret is revealed when a stranger comes to town and has me flip flopping on whether to trust them and Chet geezus I really do want to shoot that old man for what he puts his kids through and that includes Boone. There are plenty of laughs, anger, shock, sexy times, new characters and the need for the next freaking book to know what will happen next, because that ending Eeekk!!!! 😱

I enjoyed this book. It also kept me on edge. I felt for Ian and Ellie, will she ever say those important 3 words? There’s a few different points of view too. This is book three in the series, it’s also an emotional book for me, had a few tears. Loved their happy ever after, but we are left with a cliffhanger on another couple. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I recommend this book.

I love the stories about this family and I’m always eager for more. The ending of this one has me even mor eager than usual!

Wow! Just wow! I loved it! I loved the book not only the leading couple! I loved that i could kept track of Boone, Bear, Clem, Nita...and that baby girl!
I loved that this all has "sense", there's a big picture out there and Iam getting glimpses.

This is about Ellie and Ian and her crazy family the Calhouns. I was drawn into this book from page one and you get a good look at her family has they first among themselves and with some scheming person wanting to get their property. Ellie and Ian had a previous hot relationship where he wanted more from her and she could not give it to him which resulted in breaking his and her hearts.

Three Words are all Ian wanted to hear and Ellie couldn't say them to him. When he left town, Ellie tried to forget about him. But now that he's back will she finally tell him how she feels. This is a second chance romance with strong, well developed characters, family drama, angst, secrets, humor and a great ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

ARC review For honest review. This is a story of the calhoun family and then going against Watkins and finding out that their father has other kids .I love how Ellie and Ian who is back figure out their relationship. 10 stars for your writing I always enjoy these stories.

This was a fantastic book about a hurt that won't let love get close. It was a book well written with fantastic characters. I loved how it played out and I would recommend it to all!!

Great book! Love that other characters were in it as well. The Calhoun’s just can’t get a break! A lot happened in this book. Like who is Noah? Or Jane? Where is Watkins? Ian comes back to do some work and is wanting to stay away from Ellie. Ellie finds out he’s in town and has a millions emotions go through her. Can they work together to find out what is going on? Like why is there a strange person asking about Chet? What is Watkins up to?
