This was the hot boss of my dreams. Err... I mean... Internship of my dreams.
They all said Beck Fuller was mean, rude, and demanding. They didn't mention how gorgeous and ravishing he could be. I'm just the new employee, but to him, I might be something more.
I don't make the rules. He does. And if he wants to break them, who can stop him?
This is a well written book with strong characters and an entertaining story line. The author does a great job pulling you into this slow burning romance. She brings drama and intrigue, laughter and love, adds in the heat and weaves a beautiful love story. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Beck and jasmine. Beck is a billionaire who runs a nonprofit for at risk kids. Jasmine is starting working as the new intern at the nonprofit and was warned Beck is a jerk. Her sister told her that Beck is known as rude and standoffish. When Jasmine arrives, she is met by the secretary and introduced to Beck. Jasmine was shocked at how attractive Beck was and Beck was instantly attracted to her, but he knew he couldn't have her because he had made that mistake before with the secretary. Jazz started working at her job and when they needed another basketball coach, she stepped in. Everything was going great at work until the center was vandalized and one of the kids, Lamar, disappeared. They get the center back in shape and soon jazz and Beck can't fight things any longer. They share an encounter, but Beck thinks they crossed a line and tried to avoid Jazz. I enjoyed this book. I think Beck was hurt before, but he had to learn to take a chance again. Jazz was so different and i think she made Beck better. I liked Jazz and think she really cared about the kids as well as Beck. Good one.
This is a sweet love story about a young woman, Jasmine who is an intern at a non profit center for children at risk and her boss, Beck who created the center with the thought of his childhood friend. Beck is one hot and sexy man so when Jazz meets him they have an instant connection and they try to be professional but it fails when Beck kisses Jazz. Beck has a painful past and Jazz and her sister have a plan to open their own non profit so she knows it’s not good to get involved with Beck. Jazz comes up with a great idea for a fundraiser and as they work on it the center has problems with vandalism and one of the kids, Lamar disappears for a bit. Beck steps up and helps Lamar with a place to live and Lamar’s brother does the unthinkable and tries to cause harm to Jazz. Will Beck be able to stop any harm coming to Jazz and will he learn about her secret? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Jazz's new internship is making her nervous. On one hand, she's excited to be helping at-risk kids, but her attraction to her boss, Beck, makes her second guess everything. When it becomes obvious that Beck feels the same attraction, things become even trickier.
Beck knows he really shouldn't be trying to sleep with an intern, yet something about Jazz keeps him close to her. He finds her an asset to his business, and in his personal life. But will he be too late to let her know?
I liked the plot, and the pacing of the novel. The intrigue had me interested. I recommend this read.

This book actually wasn't half bad. I had this pop up as a possible choice, liked the synopsis and decided why not. I liked the story line and the whole, we want each other but really shouldn't. I also liked that it wasn't over the top sex everywhere(although there is nothing wrong with that either), but this way allowed for more of the build up. I also liked that they talked about programs for disadvantaged youth and how they can end up in bad situations.
Lots of spelling and sentence issues. Also during the climax he discovers her kidnapped in a house and then we flashforward to her in a hospital and her saying that he was dragged down by a car. ??? Completely inexplicable. Would have been a good story if someone could sit down and fully stitch together random pieces seemingly from other stories. Wanted a boss/office romance but this was too confusing to sort through. Would not recommend.
comical and a huge dose of reality. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. It refreshing to read about people wanting to making a better place for kids at risk, even if the fictional world. Amazing Writing!
Definitely different style and definitely sensual in-depth moments! I love the story line , gang members and definitely different ways of doing things to recommend kids to do better things with the help that do come in life!!!
This author has out done herself with writing such a powerful exciting story with lots of adventures with twists and turns throughout the entire story.
