She makes the first of three payments but needs to find a way to pay the rest. Marrying Dominic is a win-win: they can access his trust, divvy up the money, and get an annulment.

‘Catch Me‘ is the second title in the ‘Tycoon’s Temptation‘ series, and just like the first (‘See Me’), you could be tempted to see this as enemies to lovers romance. And perhaps it is in some ways but it is so much more in reality. I quickly fell into Tabitha and Dominic’s story and completely enjoyed myself immersed in this world once again.

We met Tabitha and Dom in Kennedi and Trent’s story. Tabitha is Kennedi’s friend and business partner. Dom is Trent’s step-brother, even though the parents have split the men still, and always will consider each other brothers. So there is a bit of history between these four people – and Tabitha and Dom have been like oil and water from the beginning. That only intensifies as their strong opinions on a project they are both involved with hits some, let’s say disagreements on how things should be in the final design.

Right now Dom needs access to his trust fund. And if he doesn’t marry within six months he’ll never see a penny of it. Tabitha hasn’t been lucky in love or in her desire to be a mother. She’s finally made the decision to adopt but that is so very expensive she’s not sure how she’s going to manage that life-changing decision – but she’s determined to find a way somehow. Neither ever expected that they could be the answer to each other’s dilemma.

I was easily captured by ‘Catch Me‘ by not only the situation for Dom and Tabitha but with the chance to, once again, run into old book friends. These two people spark off a fire between them in so many ways far beyond their verbal arguments. Their chemistry is off the charts, and that made them believable to me. My heart broke for Tabitha’s situation, for her history. Yet I was also so proud of the determined way she set out to reach her goals no matter what stood in her way. There were moments that I really wanted to tell Dom to just chill out for a bit, for he is a force to be reckoned with (and not only in his own mind). Watching them fall, to begin to really see the other without the anger, the arguments in the way was an exciting, emotional, satisfying journey. And I loved every moment of being back in this world.

If you love a really good, believable romance then I’d recommend this series. Do you have to read both? Of course not. But I would suggest it for doing so creates this world, and both couples are in each other’s lives and stories so it just makes sense to know the whole situation (to me at least). I had a blast with ‘Catch Me’, and I suspect you would, too.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher, Tule Publishing. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Neither expected their marriage of convenience would bring about real feelings. Nor the twist in store for their arrangement that could cost them everything.
This is Tabitha Seils and Dominic Balaska's story.
“How about I show you?” A swift flush of color flooding her already naturally blushed cheeks, she jumped to her feet and started to charge at him. Kennedi flung herself up from the couch and blocked her pursuit, holding her back by the shoulders. Shrugging off her friend’s grasp, Tabitha sidestepped Kennedi and faced him in full challenge. “Who do you think you are? I have a right to keep track of the construction progress of Chase Confections. It’s my store.”
Dominic dared her objection with his own. “Progress? Is that what you call changing the blueprints? It’s Kennedi’s store, too, but edge of his seat with legs spread and palms braced on his knees. His steel-blue eyes alert, he appeared prepared to take on whatever the battle put before him. “Bro, have a seat.”
Related by marriage since the age of five and Trenton age six, Dominic had remained close with his brother even after their parents—his mother and Trenton’s father—decided to end their ten-year nuptials.
“Yes, Dom, have some lunch. The bulgogi’s really good.”
Meeting amber-brown, kind eyes set in features the shade of warm toffee, Dominic took a breath to try to draw on a measure of calm. “Kennedi, you need to talk to your friend, Tabitha. I just left a very pissed off supervisor at the casino construction site. Valerie said Tabitha’s been over there again making—”
He paused. Across the room, the bone of his contention stepped out of the adjoining bathroom. An instant heat of anger slid up his spine, wrapped around his neck, and squeezed like a boa. His glare narrowed on the woman who drove his frustration.

This is the first time I am reading anything by Michele Arris. Catch Me is the contemporary interracial love story about the sexy yet stubborn Tabitha Seils and the sexy yet stubborn Dominic Balaska. Tabitha is a custom pastry chef and part owner with her friends Evie and Kennedi of a Washington, D.C. boutique bakery (Chase Confections) reopening in a new location. Tabitha likes things her way and constantly bumps heads with Dominic who is overseeing the project of the new location. Dominic is also Trenton’s brother who is engaged to Kennedi. So, everyone wants Tabitha and Dominic to get along because they have to work together.

Now, these two are thrown together for a week on a promo opportunity to market the bakery out on the West Coast (Las Vegas) at Shaw’s signature restaurant, Pearl Fine Dining. Dominic is Shaw Enterprise’s COO and would arrange for meetings to get Tabitha interviewed and to drum up business. While there, tension eases between the two of them and they become more than just friends. However, Tabitha has a lot going on with trying to adopt a baby and figuring out how to make the payments and so does Dominic who must get married by thirty-one to get his $20 million trust inheritance. They both agree it would be a win-win situation if they got married and he would pay her $100,000 for doing so then they would get an annulment.

Overall, it was a quick and fun read. Although I felt the story dragged a bit at times and there was a lack of communication about some situations, I enjoyed seeing Tabitha and Dominic play this cat and mouse game with their feelings for each other. Neither one of them wanting to confess how they truly felt until others around them made it clear for them. I also enjoyed the dialogue, sex scenes, and bakery descriptions which were realistic and well done. It was a good read!

Some of my favorite lines:

For some strange reason, Dominic simply liked looking at Tabitha. In fact, he couldn’t take his eyes off her at dinner. There was something hidden behind that icy exterior that provoked his curiosity. On that, he ignored his brother. “There wasn’t much about the dude to figure out. Anyway, Tabitha was trying to do a duck and dodge when I ran into her. Again, can’t blame her. The dude didn’t strike me as her type.”

“Self-absorbed pretty boys with an ego chip on their shoulder aren’t her type. I guess that leaves you out,” Trenton said on a laugh. “It’s what Tabitha said about you the other day.”

Dominic scowled. “Ego chip! She said that?”

“Apparently, he’s okay with the pretty-boy part,” Vincent remarked around a chuckle.

I received this arc from Tule Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book in the Tycoon’s Temptation series. This book features Tabitha and Dominic. Tabitha is best friend and business partner with Kennedy and Dominic is the stepbrother of Trent from book one. Tabitha is an amazing pastry chef. She and Dominic got off on the wrong foot when they first meet. Everything the other says or does irritates the other in spite of an undercurrent of sexual tension between them.

Tabitha had been dumped by her cheating fiancé 3 days before the wedding, a year and a half earlier. She also had had ovarian cancer and it was not thought she could have children. Miraculously, she got pregnant only to lose it after the breakup. She had recently decided she wanted to adopt and was in the process of trying to get approved through an agency. She would need to pay quite a large sum that she didn’t actually have.

Dominic is supposed to receive his $20MM trust fund in 6 months provided hers married. If he produces an heir in a year, he gets a higher amount. Since he has no girl friend he expects he won’t get it. His mom is pushing him to find a wife in time. He wants the trust to be able to buy into a deal Trenton is working on in Dubai.

Tabitha has to go to Las Vegas for a week to create special desserts for Trenton’s hotel and casino’s anniversary celebration. She learns that Dominic will also be there. The two of them argue about the plans. When Tabitha arrives, the hotel can’t locate her reservation until she mentions Dominic’s name. It turns out she was put into his private suite where he was staying, unbeknownst to either of them. While there the two of them give into their attraction. Both kept sabotaging the relationship as they believed wrong things about the other. There is quite a lot of angst between them and some surprising twists.

I enjoyed book 2 more than book one as I found Tabitha to be a more likable character than Kennedy. I gave it 5 stars and look forward to reading the next book.

I really enjoyed Tabitha and Dominic’s story in Catch Me by Michele Arris, book two in her Tycoon’s Temptation series. This is story has two stubborn, alpha people knocking heads as custom pastry chef Tabitha Seils tries to work with businessman and COO Dominic Balaska. After suffering ovarian cancer and a miscarriage, Tabitha wants nothing more than to have a baby; trying the adoption route this time. When a new mother-to-be considers Tabitha to adopt her infant, Tabitha is ready to fill and decorate a nursery. She makes the first of three payments but will need to figure out how to get the money to pay the rest. Dominic has it all, except the $20 million to buy into a profitable real estate deal. His trust fund requires that he be married by his 31st birthday; which is in six months. Since he’s not found the right woman to attach himself to, he starts to think about Tabitha. There is a definite attraction between them since fireworks explode whenever they are in the same room. Marrying Dominic would help Tabitha afford the additional payments for the adoption. It’s a win-win situation and they can get an annulment after Dominic accesses his trust. They’re adults and should be able to have a no-strings, fake marriage deal. Right?!? Neither figured in that this marriage of convenience would ignite real feelings nor the possibility of consequences to their attraction, sizzling chemistry, and the electricity bouncing off of them.

Ms Arris wrote a wonderfully, sizzling and emotional story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with off the charts, sizzling chemistry, intense emotions, and charming secondary characters giving Tabitha and Dominic a chance for love and all they desire. I highly recommend Catch Me to other readers.

Catch Me (Tycoon's Temptation #2) by Michele Arris is a book concerning a trust fund baby and a woman wanting to find a way to adoptive a baby. This story is close to my heart because I know someone remarkably similar to pastry chef Tabitha Seils who has been going through this very thing. The process is long and the cost is enormous. The very same way this friends had the new mother consider her for the adoption, six months later the baby is with her but legalities are still being worked through with the agency. All that is said to make it clear that my heart is totally with Tabitha and what she has been going through. Not so much for businessman Dominic Balaska who wants the trust fund money for a business deal. Still it is his money I guess and this marriage of convenience will help Tabitha too.

Two strong personalities with goals that are different but important to each makes this an unusual marriage of convenience. It took time for this couple to work through their feelings, not just opposite but disdain at times. There is a twist in the story that makes this even more interesting. I even began to like Dominic more than I had thought I would at the beginning. An interesting story that is different from the norm.

An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Though I hadn't read the first book in this series I had n o trouble following this story line at all it reads totally as a stand alone I just gathered that the characters in this book had also been in the first book. This book handles matters that can cause a lot of heart ache in a wonderful manner

Tabatha may be a wonderful pastry chef and top of her game as far as that is concerned but her personal life is a bit of a mess Eighteen months earlier her ex fiance dumped her just days before the wedding believing she couldn't have children due to a battle with ovarian cancer she was stunned to find out she was pregnant but the stress of the broken wedding caused her to miscarry Now she has decided that she wants a child and she is going to spend whatever she needs in an effort to adopt even though she doesn't have the money Her best friend and business partners husbands step brother Dominic is also facing his owns trials he needs to be married within the next six months is he is to inherit his $20 million trust fund. These two clash all the time and the latest is at Las Vegas where she is doing the pastries for a function They give into their attraction to one another Could they be the answers to one an others problems after all he needs a wife and she needs money. You will have to see how this tangled web will work

Saw & Caught

Caught Me is another sweet interracial, romance in the Tycoon's Temptation, the story of Dominic and Tabitha. It's the second in the series and not as good the story of Trenton and Kennedi. There were so many things wrong that keep me from eating it higher.

The characters weren't as fleshed out. Had you not read See Me, you wouldn't have understood who the characters were, what they meant to each other or why. Surprisingly, grammatical errors crept into this one. You don't even feel the attraction between Dominic and Tabitha that was in the first one.

This was a disappointing second book which was much too short. The sex wasn't descriptive not vulgar but it bordered on it. Even though it was an interesting read, there were too many thing missing.

I could have easily settled for knowing Dominic and Tabi

Dominic has to marry by his 31st birthday to inherit $20 million. He is only 6 months away and no woman in sight.Tabitha and Dominic are like oil and water. Fighting at every turn. He tries to avoid her whenever possible. She wants to adopt a baby. After her wedding plans fall apart she doesn't want to wait to meet Mr. Right to be a mother. All she is lacking are funds. The marriage of convenience is a win win for both of them. He gets his $20 mil and she gets a payout that is plenty to cover adoption fees. It is the answer they both have been looking for. But what happens when the tension and fighting turn into sexy time? Can they keep their hearts out of it and keep it strictly business? Good read!

This is the second book in this series and I found to be a really great read. The story line was very interesting and the characters were very well developed. I loved Dominic and Tabitha. The chemistry between these two was sizzling hot. They butted heads more then they agree. I honestly thought they were perfect for each other. Dominic needs a wife to get his trust fund and Tabitha wants to adopt a baby so perhaps there is a way for them to help each other out. Pick up this book and find out what happens because it is a really great story. I voluntarily review this book in exchange for an honest review.

Best to Read Book 1 SEE ME in the Tycoon's Temptation Series

An enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience love story. They truly couldn't stand each other with a passion. Great banter!

I did not love this book as much as I did book 1 in this series but it was still a page turner for me.

I felt that the chemistry transition from enemies to lovers was not believable and happened suddenly. Otherwise I did like the overall direction of the story and the connection that developed after between Dominic and Tabitha. I also liked seeing Kennedi and Trenton from the previous book 1.
The story continuity of book 1 helped.

Happy Reading!

I loved Catch Me by new to me author Michele Arris. It is a well-written book with characters that are interesting, personable and genuine. This marriage of convenience romance captured my attention from the very beginning, and I never wanted the story to end. Dominic and Tabitha sizzle; both in and out of the bedroom. Overall, if you like books about billionaires, pastries and falling in love, then pick up a copy of Catch Me.

This is the second installment from the Tycoon's Temptation series and it can enjoyed as a standalone.

interesting characters

This story left me wanting more. Dom and Tabitha were fine, but I could only handle so much back and forth, he loves me, he loves me not. It made me a bit weary. I did enjoy the other characters in the story. The entire ensemble interacting is what makes the book readable. I kept waiting for it to move forward and that never happened. Frankly, I was relieved when Dominic came back and apologized, telling Tabitha he loved her. Unfortunately, that was end of the story.

They caught each other

Beautiful book cover. Dom and Tabitha's journey to love was not without hurdles. Love the slow burning chemistry between these two. They hung in there and their love blossomed. I was happy when Dom put her ex In his place.. Dom' s mom Started off a little rough in her acceptance of Tabitha , But happy in the end she Welcomed her into Their family. Hopefully her family especially her brothers will welcome Dom.
Happy this couple Will get there Happy ending/beginning With more surprises to come!

The second book in the series is as good or better than the first one. I knew Trenton had a brother Dominic who also goes by Dom. He is paired up with Tabitha in this book. I really liked how those two act like they can't stand each other. Tabitha has a strong personality and so does Dom and those two collide all the time.

Makes for a great story and you really need to check it out. I am hoping there is a brother in there somewhere for me.

This is book 2 in the Tycoon's Temptation series and can be read as a stand alone. This story has Tabitha, a gourmet baker and Dominic a construction supervisor. They get off on the wrong foot their first meeting but the sexual tension sizzles. They marry so Dominic can get his inheritance. Sort of predictable. Characters from book 1 are back and it looks like enough people to have book 3 soon. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I was given an advance reader’s copy of this book in exchange for my review. This is book two in Tycoon’s Temptation and this book has some sizzle.
Very interesting story line, and the writer knew how to make the dialogue very interesting, only little problem was the ending was just to rushed, in my own opinion, I wanted a little more.

A good story but dragged out to far.

The characters are believable. The circumstances not so much. Dom is a dream but Tabitha goes back and forth a lot. She cares, she's mad, she's in love, she just quits.

Emotional journey for Tab, and she has trust issues from her past. Dom falls for her in a big way, then just trying to do what he thinks is best for Tabitha. He's a guy so of course he's going to screw up. Family can be a royal pain sometimes too LoL.
An entertaining read!

I love the sisterhood and affection between the friends. I also love that Dom was unaware he was on love with Tabitha at first Suite, much like Trent and Kennidi in Danger Me. Can't wait to get to Evie and Vincent's story.
