After a few days together, Harrison’s got her wondering if the life she always wanted was meant for some other girl. Suddenly, Libby must decide which version of herself she wants to be.

I found this boxed set well-written, highly entertaining, witty, and romantic.

The Honeymooner: A entertaining romantic novel, this book had me smiling and laughing throughout the reading of it. I was appalled at myself as I laughed hardest at the most tragic moments of Libby's life. This is the first book that I have read by this author and Ms. Summers really does know how to put together a story that draws the reader in from the first moments right through to the closing chapter. I could identify with Libby on so many levels. Despite having been humiliated in the worst possible way, she nevertheless keeps her head and formulates a new plan. Harrison is the complete opposite in every way. Where Libby plans every second of her life, Harrison rolls with the punches. Together they discover a chemistry neither of them anticipated and it forces both of them to open their eyes to new possibilities. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel as it is not only well written but incredibly funny and entertaining as well.

Whisked Away: The second book in this delightfully funny series, I laughed and I cried and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Emma has finally achieved her qualification as a graduate of a prestigious culinary institute and now it is time to pay her dues to her brother who sacrificed so much for her. Returning to Paradise Bay, Emma is in for a rude awakening. Instead of the homecoming and family welcome she is anticipating, she is instead, thrown in at the deep end having to take care of a celebrity guest together with an aging but very proper butler and housekeeper. Her introduction to Pierce Davenport is less than stellar but being the quirky and resourceful professional that she is, she works around his demands. Pierce quickly realizes what a fool he has been and when his ridiculous demands get the better of him, he knows he needs help and that the only person who can assist him, is Emma. A romance blossoms, but it is not at all plain sailing. Between Pierce's “lone wolf” persona and Emma's impishness, they find themselves making monumental relationship mistakes. This novel is well-written, entertaining, and thoroughly enjoyable.

The Suit Life: I chuckled, cringed, wept, and sighed throughout this novel as Bree and Leo struggled to find common ground. Leo has been banished by his father after a totally gauche error in judgment, whilst Bree is struggling to keep all her balls in the air as a single Mom, student, and night shift concierge. Forced into close proximity with one another, Bree is irritated and outspoken regarding the new hire. However, having him as her tenant makes her realize that she has been hasty in her judgment. Leo's ability to have fun and create something positive out of a negative is an eye-opener for the overly serious Bree. As things get serious between them, their world comes crashing down and one despairs for the couple. The chemistry between Bree and Leo is tangible, but little Izzy's contribution takes this novel up another notch. I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic comedy, which is a standalone and comes to a romantic and happy conclusion.

3 people, 3 couples (eventually)

First in the lineup we have the daught4r of a footloose hippie type who took her to visit her grandparents, then left her there to pine for a couple years until she realized that the steady life of her grandparents had provided her with a stable & loving home. So, she went to the opposite extreme of overplanning every last minute...& her equally boring fiance texted her that he wasn't coming, minutes before the wedding. So she went on her already-paid-for honeymoon alone, where she met the eldest of 3 kids who'd lost theor parents young & had been moved to a tropical island resort under the care of their uncle...but really under the care of the childless couple who managed the place. The 2nd child, a girl, is in culinary school in NYC, but does cme hime at the thought they may lose the resort. You see, Ms. Scheduled also worked for a global company that was trying to buy the resort. What she ends up doing, what happens when Instagram photos she made to pretend to be doing something exciting draws Mr. Text Message back to pick up where they left off, I'll leave to you to read.

Couple 2nd involves the culinary student, who returned to NYC to finish her education. The resort had a small island with a pristine beach & a jungle, & the owner had it developed as a "stay at your own island" resort for the very rich. The middle son of a wealthy family is an author of a fantasy series so popular it was put into a series on TV. He has written himself into a corner & can't figure a way out. The "soft opening" of the fancy island resort allows him a getaway to try & write. He is nasty to pretty much everyone, including demanding the chef-the boss's little sister, who is living on a rickety houseboat with a 3 burner stove & a wobbly table for prep, is a bit dismayed. The couple in the other houseboat have served the wealthy & powerfull all their lives & wished to be semi retired someplace warm. When the writer sees the chef in her bikini diving for lobster for his next meal, suddenly he gets an idea & writes...with her help, because when he insisted she leave his food at the door, she tried to warn him but he wouldn't listen. Iguanas were plentiful on the island & not vicious unless you try to take away their food. Not knowing this, the author gets into a fight over the food & ends up breaking his own thumb; the chef findds him & gets him to a hospital. The chef had decided to read his books after she found out there was such a big to-do about them. The big brother agrees to his chef sister typing for the author & sends food from the restaurants at the resorts while they finish the series. Proximity has some effect, but the relationship has started rocky. I'll leave you to read how it ends.

3rd, the younger, irresponsible brother of the author has done something indiscreet that now has him sentenced to a 6 month stint of doing a low wage job, living in whatever he can afford to live in, learning to do laundry, shop for groceries he can afford, open & use a bank account, no drugs or booze -& testing, & no women. He gets a job at the resort because of his brother's wife 's influence, & totally crashes his first day on the job, under the supervision of a single mom who has a 4 year old daughter, is a full time student, works full time, has to study for the bar exams, works evwnings, lives with her aunt, & has a sofa in the living room as her bedroom. She gets pretty mean about the new bellhop, & he overhears her. She is forced to try again to get him on track, & eventually, he sees through the facade, esp when he rents the shed she has cleaned out to rent, with the bathroom, laundry, & kitchen facilities shared in the house. On top of her other stresses, she has the expenses associated with being a maid of honor to her younger sister, including dress, shoes, gifts for showers & other parties, none of which she can afford, & on top of that, a hen weekend, at which point stress, booze, chronic lack of sleep, act together until she lets little sis & her besties have it & gets sent home. It is the irresponsible party boy who saves the day when the computer system goes down, & who takes her on a cheap un-date-all he can afford-on a tandem bike, just to give her a much needed break. He ends up playing with the little girl, cleaning up a barfy mess, fixing her mower, mowing the lawn, doing her dishes & laundry when he does his own (after the 4 year old teaches him how), & generally being nice to her...including taking the blame fir something her fault even though it means he'll be disinherited. Fired as a bellhop, he discovers along the way & especially at the end, that he does have a talent, what it is, & goes on to support going after it. How do he & the future would-be barrister fare? You'll have to see for yourself.

All set on one main & one small island on the lovely imaginary Carribbean archipelago where the resort is located. Funny, sad, happy, annoyed, desperate, imperfect people finding love & laughter.

The Honeymooner - Libby and Harrison... almost like the Odd Couple except Libby, like Felix, has regimented her life to ensure she wouldn't be like her mom and Harrison, like Oscar takes things as they come and go but this laid back style was forged through the loss of his parents that there is no controlling life but understands that good and bad things come and go whether in business or in your personal life. These two go through the gamut with a business deal and it manifest into their personal lives where they compliment each other to the point that they realize they have more in common than they think. Could it be love??? The laughs and the growth with these two characters provide a great ride and a wonderful story through a solid story... this series has it all!

Whisked Away - After the loss of her parents Emma nourished memories of her mother through a recipe that belong to her mother. Now a grown woman Emma has graduated from a top culinary school with dreams of working on the hottest restaurant on her family's resort to make a name for herself so she can grow her brand and go national maybe even international. Pierce, one of the famed Davenport family members, compares his life to living in a fish bowl. Always having to feel like he is on and to entertain the upper crust of society for the sake of his parents Pierce is living a double life. The one to be an ambassador of sorts for his family nurturing societal connections and the nerdy bookworm who just wants to live life on his own terms. The problem with that is that Pierce a great writer who has created an international storm with a book series he has created. With fans craving the final book of the series Pierce is hit with writer's block! The one way that would help him to focus would be to go far away with his laptop and outlines to create the final book... now all he needs is to make sure everything is in place including his meals for his stay.

Emma was disappointed to learn that she's not going to be the head chef in the hot restaurant but she's also not going to be a chef in any of the other restaurants as well. What is offered is that she become the personal Chef... and cooking on a boat. To she was hurt would be an understatement but Emma, ever the professional, does the job above and beyond what is required... if only she can get the handsome writer out of her mind and focus on doing a great job maybe she can work her way off of the boat.

Focused on finishing his book Pierce thinks his meals are delicious but he rarely gets to see the chef until one day he sees her and is highly attracted to her. Can these two break the barriers on their careers and find happiness or will their professional lives keep them too busy to reach for more? I enjoy the Davenport family and their stories... the writing is on point and the laughs helps to endear them to you. Nice read!

The Suite Life - Leo and Bree are opposites... to a degree. Bree is an mother who is working a full time job and going to law school at the same time. A real go getter Bree has a plan and dreams to fulfill why is she being chosen to help the new guy!?!?!?

Leo is the Life of the Party! The youngest of the Davenports Leo has lived the life of privilege. There was nothing that was denied Leo by his mother but his father is not as enamored of his charm as she is. When Leo has crossed the line one time too many Leo is cut off and has to learn to be responsible and work! Why should he have to work in the resort and why is Bree so disgusted with him??? Although they would appear to be polar opposites in the areas where they are opposite enables them to support each other in their areas of weakness bringing them together in ways they never knew they could. Can they make it???

This boxset contains the first three books in the Paradise Bay Romantic Comedy series; The Honeymooner; Whisked Away; and The Suite Life. Each is a full length book and deals with the romance in an uplifting and funny manner. The first book has a main character originally named Breeze, by her free living and wanderer of a mother, until she was left behind at age five with her grandparents and eventually changed her name after realising her mother wasn’t coming back, to her middle name Liberty. Due to her childhood, her adult life has taken on a very different direction. She is jilted at the altar and in a relationship that was very business focused on both sides, finally finding out that maybe that wasn’t really who she is. It takes such a drastic life event to happen and the latest acquisition she hoped to obtain on her honeymoon, to both fail, to make her decide on what is the real version of herself.

Another book includes a head chef, Emma, sent to work at one of her family’s resort restaurants, but ending up on the resort’s private island and a difficult and arrogant writer who insists on bland foods and totally uncreative meals. Not what she expected after all her years of studying and work experience. Two completely opposite individuals, whose differences will either make or break their success. One has finally gotten the inspiration they need to finish their writing, whilst the other is obsession with their ideas for a new sort of fusion menu. Both are creative and they only really get to know each other properly when the writer ends up being bitten by an iguana that was far too interested in his exquisite breakfast fruit. Love doesn’t come easy when one tries to use money to give the other everything they think they could want!

The third book has a single mum, Brianna (Bree), as the main character, who has a four year old daughter. She works as a concierge at the resort and is studying law in whatever free time she has, while living with her aunt Delores, who at least can help her with childcare. Her sister Amber is getting engaged and having a party at the resort and having to be a person in fancy dress, left alone as her daughter and aunt have teamed up, makes for a bad night out. Add in a playboy who finally gets cut off from his purse strings and forced to find a job and keep it, with a retired parole officer watching his every move, to ensure he keeps to the conditions his father has set. If he doesn’t he will be cut off from his inheritance completely. Brianna ends up having to work with him and when she tries to hire out a rental suite she made in her back yard, from converting her shed, he is the only person who is interested in renting it! She either has to continue being broke and struggling every day, or accept him as a renter and learn to love working with him rather than hating him.

A great set of three books in the series, all interlinked with characters appearing in each of the following books. All set in Paradise Bay and the island around the resort. A lovely place to holiday and also a great place to work. Some have been brought up on the islands, whilst others come there for a holiday or just to get away, but many of them end up staying there. Happy ever after stories, with opposites learning to love each other, people who should be far apart finding out they have more in common than they knew and just love being found for all. A fascinating set of books in a lovely exotic location. Lovely reads for anyone that wants a bit of romance in their life. I had already bought the first two books and have now bought the third one after reading the boxset. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

The Honeymooner - Libby DeWitt has been looking forward to being Mrs. Richard Tomy but when dumps her - via text - on their wedding day she goes on their honeymoon alone. She meets Reef, a seemingly carefree employee of the resort and hits it off with him, despite her fears that he may take advantage of her. She has also decided to combine business with pleasure (which she was planning to do on her real honeymoon anyway) and meet with the resort owner, Harrison Banks, to see about a plan for revitalizing (or selling to her company) the failing resort. Will Libby take a chance on love again? Will her fledgling romance with Reef be able to survive when she learns of the secret he is keeping from her?

This is technically a spin-off of Melanie Summers' Crown Jewels series but can absolutely be read as a standalone. I enjoyed this book very much. It was chock-full of my kind of humor and had nice touches of romance in it, too. I liked Libby and am looking forward very much to the next book in this series.

Whisked Away - The second in the Crown Jewels spin-off of Paradise Bay. In The Honeymooner, we got to meet Harrison Banks, owner/operator of Paradise Bay resort. During the course of that, we also get to meet his sister, Emma, who is the MC of this book. Emma has completed culinary school and is returning to the Benevente Islands to take her place as head chef of one of the resort's illustrious restaurants. Emma receives a head chef position all right, but it turns out not to be all it's cracked up to be.

Pierce Davenport has created one of the best loved book series in recent memory. Now a lot of people are clamoring for the final installment, including Pierce's editor and the powers that be at the cable network that has been airing a miniseries of Pierce's story. Unfortunately, Pierce has been unable to complete the story. He decides he needs to be free of distractions to finally finish his story the way he wants. He decides to book into the private retreat in the Benevente Islands to concentrate. What will happen when Pierce and Emma need to interact with each other? Pick up Whisked Away today and find out!

I very much enjoyed this book. I found the quality and quantity of the humor at least on par with (if not excelling) Ms. Summers' other works. I especially liked Emma's best friend, Priya. I hope she gets a book of her own down the line. I always have a good time when I read a Melanie Summers book and this was no exception. I can't wait for my next trip back to Paradise Bay.

The Suite Life - Leo is the wealthy layabout who has been cutoff from his family’s money after one too many wrong indiscretions. To find his way back into the fold, he must become a functional adult for six months. Bree is a single mother studying to become a lawyer while also dealing with her sister’s upcoming wedding, trying to keep her momzilla at bay from trying to marry her off, too, as Bree has no intention of doing anything of the kind. Then Rosy hires Leo and Bree becomes his direct supervisor, presenting a problem for her because she assumes Leo is everything she claims to hate in a person.

This is a great addition to the Paradise Bay series that I very much enjoyed reading and I look forward to the next to come from this author.

The Honeymooner
So, I’ve had this book on my shelf for what feels like an eternity. That bright, brilliant cover always asking, “what about me?” but other commitments kept me from cracking it open to find out if it would live up to its promise. The last many books I’ve read have either been big angsty emotional rollercoasters or left me feeling unsatisfied in some way. It was finally time to learn if Paradise Bay was going to be as much fun as it sounded. It was. It was actually even better than I’d hoped it would be. Libby has turned herself into the perfect controlled Type-A personality to be as different from her mother as she possibly can be. Harrison has accepted the laid-back island lifestyle because he knows better than most that life is going to throw you curveballs and there’s no point stressing over them until they happen. This pair of opposites light up sparks from the first moment we see them together. They start out as enemies, on opposing sides of a buy-out deal, but as we watch them learn from each other, we get to witness them falling in love. She loosens up a little and he tightens the laces just a bit. I adored the banter. This is truly my kind of humor and I look forward to reading more in this series.
Whisked Away
Oh my gosh! That is one of the funniest things I’ve ever read. It fed my snarky, sarcastic nerd-girl soul. I loved everything about Emma, even though her piss-y judgemental attitude occasionally made me a little batty. Peirce was a tougher nut to crack. He very successfully hid his vulnerabilities behind a stoic aristocratic reserve that made him difficult to like at times. It was easy to see why that behavior sent Emma into furious harpy mode. But, oh boy, did I love laughing at their clashes. The things this pair does to and for one another are pretty remarkable – in both good and bad ways. This book had me in tears. Most of the time it was because I was laughing so hard, but there were some moments that came close to bringing out the ugly-cry in me. I can’t wait to see what the author gives us next.
The Suite Life
This book was so much fun and uproariously funny, yet there’s also something just a little bit more sombre about it than the previous books in the series. It digs in just a little more deeply to some of the darker emotions. Taking on judgement, and expectations, and self-worth (a whole lot about self-worth) and just generally what it means to be a good and productive participant in your own life. Wrapped around all that are the pitfalls (and pratfalls) of navigating family relationships and working in a customer service industry. I still hooted with laughter over everything these characters got themselves tangled up in, but sometimes they were darker more ironic chuckles instead. I am in no way prepared to let go of any of these characters. There need to be even more Paradise Bay books.

Hilarious and utterly charming series. This boxset contains the first three books in the Paradise Bay Romantic Comedy series; The Honeymooner; Whisked Away; and The Suite Life. A charming, entertaining novel. Each episode in this series is an independent, novel, therefore can be read in any order. The author is now among my 5 favourite writers.
The Honeymooner is a story about Harrison, the owner of an exotic resort in trouble, and Libby, a jilted bride who decides to honeymoon by herself. As a business consultant, she wants to help Harrison salvage the resort. It was a very enjoyable, easy-to-read page-turner, bringing laughter to two people who already have a lot to deal with. All characters were expertly developed and described. Most of the scenes and locations were shared between the books, yet, the reader did not get a sense of repetitions in the books.
Whisked Away. Both of the main characters, Emma and Pierce, as well as the supporting characters, were described and developed very well, the dialogues and soliloquies expressed with great vocabulary in a style, which is easy to follow and hard to put down. Both books I read were edited to a very high standard, which increases the enjoyment of reading a book. The attention to detail is often missing from other books. but not when this author is in charge. The book is a lovely, clean romance story, yet there is a lot of anticipated heat between our lovers. There is quite a bit of emotional analysis of what should constitute a selfless love towards one's object of desire. The author handled the transition from one scene to another seamlessly and without losing any of the thread of the storyline. All in all. this book is a lovely, at times light-hearted insight into the role families play in one's emotional and personality development and what it takes to influence it enough to break a vicious cycle. We are witnesses to a lovely HEA and the adage ''all we need is love'' is proven true yet again.
The Suite Life. Funny and utterly charming. A wonderful, feel-good book with a HEA which, at times looked unlikely. I was crying with laughter at times. The book does have many serious moments and deals with some pretty serious grown-up stuff that we all face at times. Human relationships are never easy to maintain at an even keel so our heroes, multitasking single mum Brianna and carefree playboy Leo find challenged due to insecurities and lack of ability to think outside their own confines. Their characters, as well as the supporting characters, are very well developed and described in detail and the author had a new approach to working the turn of events into the storyline. It is a clean romance but it sizzles with anticipation. Growing up emotionally is hard but Leo finds that doing so gives him the self-respect he never felt and also gets the girl in the process.

In need of an escape to the imaginative world, yet seeking something uncomplicated, I was hesitant about diving into this bundle of novel series. However, I have no regrets in choosing it, as it turned out to be an incredibly enjoyable read—a laid-back, immersive story kind of book.

Each of the three couples in this novel has their own tale, unfolding on the tropical island of Benavante in the Paradise Bay Resort. The characters are richly portrayed, each with their strengths and weaknesses. Through their journeys together, they navigate and overcome their individual challenges.

Within this novel series, each couple has its own distinct story. Transitioning to the next series is far from boring, as a fresh couple with a new point of view and story awaits. It's like a breath of fresh air, with different character types that set each novel series apart.

Here's a glimpse into their stories:

The Honeymooner - The First Series (#1):
Libby, a meticulous planner, meets Harrison, the laid-back owner of Paradise Bay Resort, after Libby face a horrible event. The romantic atmosphere between them shifts when they discover each other's true identities.

Whisked Away - The Second Series (#2):
Emma, Harrison's culinary school graduate sister, has a high expectation on what she would do when she come back to the resort after earning her degree. But it turns out it’s way far from what she imagine.
Pierce, an author who who gets an enormous pressure on how to end his best seller novel series. He seeks inspiration and a retreat in the private island own by Paradise Bay Resort.
Emma met Pierce at this island and they form an unlikely alliance after clashing, leading to a unique and engaging story.

The Suite Life - The Third Series (#3):
Bree, a hardworking single mother who works hard to achieve her dream and also a concierge at the Paradise Bay Resort. While Leo is a carefree soul facing consequences for his actions. In order to get his past life back, he has to work and life independently which is working as a bellboy under the supervision of Bree in the resort and also rent a room in her house. Their sweet yet bitter journey unfolds as they complement each other.

On the 2nd and 3rd novel series there are still interactions with the characters from the previous novels that adds depth to the story.

Libby and Harrison, Emma and Pierce, Leo and Bree—each couple presents a unique love story. If you're in the mood for a novel with clean romance, this is a highly recommended read. Each series has its own pace and chemistry, ensuring a fresh and distinct vibe with each new couple. Although I miss the lovely interactions of past couples, I understand that each novel focuses on the journey of finding one's own half.

This collection includes 3 romantic, hilarious, full-length novels for your enjoyment. Titles included are: THE HONEYMOONER, WHISKED AWAY, and THE SUITE LIFE. Below is a review of two of the books to give you an idea of what you’ll find in this box set.

*** Reviewing “WHISKED AWAY” ***
Emma, recently graduated from culinary school in NYC, is excited to try out her fusion cuisine at her family's Caribbean resort, envisioning her new life as head chef. Instead, she is placed on Eden, their new private island, to try her skills on a writer struggling with writer’s block and having no interest in her culinary talents. The famous fantasy writer, Pierce Davenport, is there for solitude so that he can write the final book in his Clash of Crowns series. His publisher and fans are tired of waiting and, if he doesn’t get this finished within 2 months, the network will insist on hiring screenwriters to complete the project! There is no way they could ever do it justice!

Emma has no idea who this fussy man is, but when a hand injury stops any progress on Pierce’s novel, she becomes his transcriber in return for positive comments about the resort. Will he complete his book on time? Will working closing with each other open the doors for something more?

This was a good book with a clever story line and great characters. Emma was just what Pierce needed and she let him see the world through her eyes instead of closing everyone out. Grab your copy and see if dreams really do come true!

*** Reviewing “THE SUITE LIFE” ***
Leo Davenport comes from a wealthy family, the youngest son, and happy to be the bad-boy, irresponsible playboy without a care in the world, despite the damage it causes his family’s reputation and businesses. His father decides to take action and sends him away for 6 months, where he will be forced to find a job, earn his own living, and grow up! Bree Lewis is a single mom, talented and hard-working as the head concierge of the Paradise Bay Resort on a Caribbean island, Santa Valentina.

As anticipated, Leo makes a mess of things and clients complain. Fortunately, his Chef sister-in-law, Emma, steps in and saves his job before they fire him. Bree tries to raise more money to help pay for her law studies and support her family by converting a storage room behind her house. Leo rents it from her and, as she gets to know him, she sees there is more to him than the guy he seems to be. Can Bree and her family teach him to mature into a caring person? Can he teach her to open her heart again and give him a chance?

This was another good story in this series that gives the reader a good insight into “real” people who are not perfect but need someone out there to believe in them. Grab your copy and enjoy the story line!

Fun and Funny RomComs in Paradise

This is such an enjoyable series! I'm so glad the author has put these three together in a box set so they can be read one after the other without having to skip over to Amazon to get the next book. Perfect for your vacation or staycation. here is my review of the first book of the series:

The Honeymooner: RomCom Delivers All the Feels
What a delightfully fun romantic comedy! I love the unique start to the book, showing maps to made-up places and an epistolary beginning to the book. Through these letters and emails, we clearly learn a bit of the backstory of the hero and the heroine. Even with that, though, the author still did, in the beginning chapters that introduced them both, dump a little bit too much information all at once instead of letting information flow more naturally in the book. These characters have incredible backstories, but I like to see characters’ histories show up more organically rather than breaking up the flow of the narrative in a big chunk or two. The heroine’s world was tipped on its ear when her affianced leaves her waiting at the altar, breaking it off via text. She takes the honeymoon anyway, hoping to get the owner—whom she had written to previously in those early letters and emails—to take her company's offer to buy out his nearly bankrupt resort. What she experiences when she goes to this resort is nothing she could have imagined but something that has the potential to change her life if she is willing to let go of the rigid control that she has had over her life since her mother abandoned her to her grandparents when she was a child. What path will she choose? I thought both the characters were well drawn. There were some laugh-out-loud moments. And even though I wouldn't say I liked the backstory dumped into the text, it did really inform who they were as characters. Their actions and reactions made sense given their histories. All in all, it is a well-done book.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

The honeymooner
Harrison runs The Paradise Bay resort and has to find millions to stop the bank closing him down. Libby is getting married and has arranged to meet Harrison while she is at his resort on honeymoon. She has offered a buyout or a partnership to save Paradise Bay. Libby gets stood up at the alter but still goes on her honeymoon to make sure the business deal can go through. What she finds is Harrison and his hotel family, she gets to know them all during her three weeks there. She gets Harrison to agree to let her do a report and if she thinks he can keep the business going she will help.
Whisked away
Emma has finished culinary school and is flying home. As soon as she reaches Paradise Bay there is no time to rest, she is thrown onto her new job. Harrison has her working as a personal chef on Eden island. This means she has to live and cook in a small houseboat away from the resort and everyone there. This is not the joyous homecoming she imagined when Harrison told her she would be working there. The author guest turns out to be rude and very annoying.
The suite life
Leo has been exiled from Avonia for disgracing his family once again. Now he is living with Pierce and Emma until his father threatens to disinherit him unless he follows the rules for six months. He has to get a job and a place to live. No drinking, no women and no getting fired. He struggles at first as he has never had any responsibility or any job skills. Everything gets a bit easier when he rents his boss’s shed.
I enjoyed reading this box set and my favourite was The suite life. Leo is a sweetie and perfect for Bree. Each book has its own struggles, family clashes and misunderstandings all finishing in a Hea.

This is a fun series with many funny moments and great romantic tension. I enjoyed all three of these stories. The author infuses so much humour in all of them, and they are all filled with engaging characters and funny-bone tickling events. The banter is also entertaining. This is a collection of the first three books in this six book series. Each book involves different tropes and characters with connections to each other through family ties or the location, specifically the Paradise Bay Resort.

Book One is an enemies to lovers story where the fate of the aforementioned resort hangs in the balance. “Our future isn’t set in stone - in fact, I guess you could say it’s only drawn in the sand, but maybe that’s how plans are supposed to be made. In the sand, so that’s when they get washed away, you can quickly draw up a new one together.”

Book Two takes initial antagonism and adds in forced proximity on an exclusive island and a celebrity author. “‘You wrote the ending you thought you should have. You treated her like one of your characters and assumed she’d go along with it. But you were forgetting something - she’s not some puppet on a string. She’s a real person with ideas and hopes and fears, and things that matter to her.’”

Book Three brings an aimless and formerly indulged man with poor family relationships into the life of a struggling single mother and her family. “‘Much better to grow up with a silver spoon in one’s mouth than an empty one.’ ‘What about a regular stainless-steel spoon served by people who love you?’”

These books vary a little in content, but overall they are undetailed open-door romances with innuendo and strong harsh language.

Fabulously Funny Sweet Clean Boxed Set of Rom Coms That Takes You to Paradise

The Honeymooner
Sweet, Clean Opposites Attract in Paradise
When uptight Libby is jilted at the altar, she decides to go on her honeymoon to Paradise Bay alone and complete the purchase of the resort for her company. She never expects to be attracted to the resort’s laid back owner Harrison who has no interest in selling outside of the family despite his financial difficulties. The story is told via dual POV, the setting is glorious, the witty banter hysterical, and the book was a ton of fun – and sets up the series.

Whisked Away
Unputdownable, Hysterical, Instant Hate Turns to More? Rom-Com
I could not put this book down but did not want it to end. I loved Pierce and Emma and especially loved watching them “battle it out” through so many calamities to each get their way even though they realize that they must figure out a way to work together to each achieve what they need – him to finish his book and then she can move on to one of the resort restaurants. While I wanted their HEA, and loved the grand gesture I was sad reach the finish.

The Suite Life
Complete opposites clash and attract– single hardworking mom and student vs. fun spoiled rich playboy cut off and now having to make it on his own. Of course, nothing is completely as it seems, and laughter abounds as they navigate having to live and work together and their newfound chemistry. It was wonderful watching Leo fall for both Bree and her daughter and finally seeing her fall right back for him.

This is a summary of previously submitted reviews of the individual books in the boxed set.

This book contains 3 stories taking place on Santa Valentina Island in the Caribbean. In the first story Harrison is trying to keep the resort that is a family business open. Libby is a business analyst who had her honeymoon scheduled at the resort and wanted to discuss the business for her company. When her wedding is cancelled, Libby comes anyway to discuss the resort and more than a business relationship results. In the second story Emma, Harrison’s sister, is a recent graduate of the Culinary Institute and comes to be a chef at the resort. Pierce who is an billionaire author with family money too, come to the resort to write. Sparks fly between these to. In the third book Leo, who is Pierce’s brother, comes to visit his brother. He is a playboy With no purpose in life who has gotten in trouble with his parents who are threatening to withdraw financial support. He meets Briana who is a hard working, no nonsense recent law school graduate who has a 4 year old daughter. Would these opposites attract?

I enjoyed reading these stories and there were some fun moments and plenty of angst about relationships where people seemed to have other goals.

The Honeymooner: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was such a sweet romantic comedy. It was well written and had me hooked from the beginning. The storyline was entertaining and all the characters brought something special to the story. Libby and Harrison had a great meet cute and I loved their HEA.

Whisked Away: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was an amazing romantic comedy. It was well written and had a good flow. The whole storyline was so humorous and I enjoyed the parallels to a real fantasy series that fans might have doubt ever will be finished. Pierce and Emma were an unlikely match in the beginning but they just worked and I loved them together even when they made me cry.

The Suite Life: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This story took me by surprise because I really didn’t expect to love it. When I first saw that it was Leo’s story I almost just gave up on it right away because I so didn’t like him in Whisked Away. But I’m so glad I didn’t give up on him because he really redeemed himself in this book and now I probably like him more than Pierce. The way he was able to turn his life around and actually be there for Brianna was amazing and I loved the friendship between him and Izzy. It was just so special.

A Melanie Summers' romance will warm your heart, make you chuckle or laugh out loud. She populates her romances with witty, charming and genuinely likeable characters. Great lighthearted reading Iin this Paradise Bay boxed set.

The Honeymooner
Buttoned up corporate type meets devil-may-care resort owner and tries to convince him to sell the propty to her company. Yeah, that's nit gonna happen. The magic of the Caribbean Islands works for these two and their HEA.

Whisked Away
A man-eating iguana, cake donuts, a neophyte chef and a best sellin author are the basis for this delightful romantic comedy. Although they have an inauspicious beginning Emma and Pierce these two have a spectacular happily ever

The Suite Life
This is feel good romance involving a single mom, a recalcitrant playboy, a precocious four year old, an eccentric 71 year old bachelorette and some mischievous cats. Bree needs to loosen up and Lee needs to grow up. Maybe together they will balance one another out but not without a few bumps along the way.

Fun, romance and love in the Caribbean sun

Paradise Bay Romantic Comedy Boxed Set contains the three books The Honeymooner, Whisked Away and The Suite Life. Each of these books is about a separate couple but all have the characters and the location of Santa Valentina Island in the Caribbean woven throughout. I had already purchased and read The Honeymooner and Whisked Away when this box set became available so I grabbed it also so I could read The Suite Life.

These books are well written with interesting, funny, sweet and romantic stories which also have some drama and angst. The characters are nicely developed and are relatable, if a bit crazy but with kind hearts and gentle souls.

I really enjoyed the family relations and the journeys the characters and couples each took. This is a definite recommendation whether you have already read books by Melanie Summers or would you like to discover a new author with a light touch with a style to blooms as you read.

Sweet and funny romance books!

This box set is a great way ti be introduced to the Paradise Bay Series! Some stories are funnier and sweetest than others but in general, you’ll not be disappointed.

The first book is about the oldest brother of the Banks family and owner of the resort. He’s the hero of the hour and will sacrifice everything for the people he loves.

The second books is about Harrison Bank’s sister, she just graduated from culinary school and her first job is to serve the famous writer, Pierce Davenport. This is a hate to love story and my favorite of the three.

The last book in this box is about the youngest Davenport brother. He’s been having the easy and enjoyable life for as long as he can remember and now after an inconvenient mistake he’s banned from his family’s wealth until he can prove he can grow up and be part pf the family.

I hope you enjoy these series as well!

Fun Tropical Romances
This is a set of three romantic comedies all set in the same tropical paradise resort. These are not entirely sweet and clean, but they are not graphic. Each book seems to be racier than the last. While the reader always knows how the stories will end, most of the fun is in the journey. The series has all of the 'feels' with wealth, romance, family, satisfying careers, and incredible talent to enhance the falling in love. The stories lay out well with none of the annoying 'that would never happen' moments. There are lots of smiles and a few laughing out loud moments, too. The stories are fun and characters are believable. Readers will wish that they were in the story. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.

Romance can be amazing - and it can be a serious pain in the backside, and results in serious pains to your wallet and credit history

This fun and funny collection is great - because the frustrating yet funny when it happens to someone else, is described in embarrassing and humorous detail - and it happens with people you can laugh at and with

Relatable characters - flawed human folks. Relatable issues - getting things better for yourself or you kids. Flawed romance and romantic adventures and disasters, because love and romance are awkward.

Love and laugh at the awkward and uncomfortable, and cheer for their wins!

First three(box set)

Very interesting characters ,who don't seem to fit but lock together like Lego's!!! First is a dumped bride, very by the schedule finds a do anything rostabout. Second is a little sister ,chef, that must put on a best game face for the new G.O.T. author who has bad witers block until she demonstrates how his book should end! The third is said authors ner do well brother, who must show responsibility by having a job,and finding he really likes his boss and her daughter! And decided he likes being a working stiff! Many funny and tender moments in each story, which makes me sad the 4th story isn't about Prym the sister from story twos roommate who now actually works for her by proxy!

This is a sweet, sassy and so fun series of great summer (or longing for summer-) reads that not only gives you vibrant vacation vibes but those sweet, sweet, tropical tingles.
Striving to stay strong, independent and self aware the classy lassies of this series sometimes still feel a teensy bit lost when tackling the enormous sh*t storm hurricane that is heading straight for their lives. So, stumbling into, onto or just over a hot blooded, prime specimen of MAN doesn’t always make things easier.
The books are interconnected but not dependent on one another, but when I read the first one -I had to read them all. Right away. But that’s just me…

I've read the whole trilogy and I have never laughed so hard in my life! If you pressure me to pick a favorite.... I can't, but okay possibly book two, which is Emma and Pierce's story. I did let the author know she made me run to the bathroom more than once through that book and Emma is the queen of snark! I just loved it. Follow that with the story of naughty prince Leo and you've got three winners to read. You can find my reviews for each of these books on my home page.
Melanie is my all time favorite author!

This collection of romantic stories is a Who Knew collection.
Who knew she had it in her, is the basic theme.
Who knew that changing the company you keep could lead to happiness
Who knew that planning ahead is not the way to live life
Who knew romantic encounters with the last person you expected will lead to happiness

I liked the first book but a timeline issue bothered me. The second book was alright. The third book... the male and female lead just got progressively more annoying as the book wore on. So I returned it and will blank this trilogy from my memory when thinking of the overall series.

This is a great boxed set. Reading one book after another in a series is a perfect way to submerge oneself in the world that has been created. I rolled my eyes, laughed, and had my heart squeeze with anticipation with how the characters would overcome their trials. I like the characters by the end of each book, although at times it took awhile to get there. Great reading!.
