Characters - I loved every character in this book especially lyle , who was previously the antagonist of her other book. Ghost was a very complex character i like how this character was written as an antagonist, i hated him but at the same time sympathize him ( especially towards the end ). I love every couple in this, each has different bonds and different chemistry, my fave is probably the main couple. I love lyle and cayden's dynamic so much. I love the friendship between all the characters especially lyle and dylan.

Plot - to be honest, it was a common or easy plot. It was easy to follow and understand. Like deliquents, smart characters, action and stuffs etc. I've read this kind of books a lot ( and i love them ) The cliched plot might be the point of the thrill in this book. I like it when writers can make cliche parts the best point of their books.
Even so , i love the mix of the romance, drama and action. It was well balance and not boring to read.

Writing - There are parts where i can feel that the writer really dedicated their writing on, but in general it's a little above average of writing. It's a common writing style but still not too basic. It was easy to understand the book due to the writing style ( well this book was originally on wattpad and it is quite old so it's expected ig. )

Overall , i love this book and it something that i will want to read again.

Wow... I just reread The Lion's Den in 2025, and I feel like I've been emotionally blindsided. It's been years since I first discovered this book on Wattpad, and I had honestly forgotten most of the plot after it was removed. I went into this with a nostalgic kind of excitement, but I was not prepared for the heartbreak that hit me.

I completely blanked on what would happen to Knox, so when it all unfolded, I just froze. I was genuinely shocked. The weight of it hit me like a freight train, and I can't stop crying. I can't move past that one page. Knox and Knuckles deserved so much better. I'm still struggling to process it, and they weren't even my favorite couple! Like, how is that possible?

I can’t even feel happy for the other couples because my heart is shattered. His death felt so unnecessary, like the kind of gut punch you never quite recover from. If anyone had to go, I would’ve taken Ghost over Knox in a heartbeat – but to lose both? That was a level of pain I wasn't ready for.

Don't get me wrong, I still loved the book. It has its flaws, sure, but there's a certain charm to these older stories that keep me coming back. I just don’t think I can put myself through this heartbreak again. Ivy Coleman, you got me good this time.

If there is one thing I can say about this book and maybe its the nostalgia of my young age creeping up on me, but it was a masterpiece. From start to finish this book shaped the way I viewed literature and character drives, and motives. Truly a morally gray book without being too edgy and too rough-rounded. It gave everything it was supposed to give. It gave fun, It gave comedic, It gave raunchy, but at the same time sexy??? Characters were definitely solid, and the plot was there. A masterclass in the LGBT toxic genre, couldve been an standalone series on its own without being a sewual to the irst book "Taming..." Solid classic, 8.5/10

I would take a bullet for Lyle and Cayden, wholeheartedly. Loved this book with everything I have. It’s sad that we no longer can read it online but I definitely will get the paperbook version one day <3

I absolutely loved this book. Probably one of my favorites by this author. The drama played out so wonderfully and the ending kept me on the edge of my seat. I love the pairings and all the cute couples stuff along with the friendships that were built along the way. The characters are detailed, flawed, and perfectly imperfect. I just really enjoyed this book and can’t properly describe how awesome it was.

Having said that the second to last chapter was genuinely so sad and heartbreaking.
