It is disturbing to see how Margot is so focused on good looks that she actually fell for a guy, Richard, who has a bad character, has unexplainable mood swings, and is not even respectful. That she is willing to give Richard a second chance is not comprehensible. All the progress she made after coming back home (read “How Fortunate! – the first book) seems all gone, just because a good-looking jerk knows how to smooth-talk. If you are expecting to finally find out if Margot’s relationship with Andrew will continue, unfortunately you won’t get your answer yet, but we do learn about her past with Richard. The writing is good, the story interesting, I just wish the book would go on with the story. Instead, yet again, it ends in a cliffhanger. It is an unsettling feeling, and I’m still unsure if it’s great or annoying (as you guessed, I am not very patient). I have been waiting the whole book to finally learn how Margot’s relationship with Andrew develops…. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This episode focuses on her love life and introduces the rivals for her attentions.
Richard is a piece of work who loves em and leaves em, essentially. He has just recently decided that he wants her and has broken it off with his fiance.
Andrew is a southern style man who has lost his wife. Her first impression of him was not so great, but you know what they say about book covers. Turns out, he is not so bad.
Which man will she choose? Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode. 🙂

Wow this book is really heating up just when Margot is getting her footing and she has met a great guy in Andrew her ex Richard comes back to ask her to come back to New York with him and they can be a couple again but to say the least Margot is stunned and she doesn't know what to do because at one time she liked him a lot but she remembers how he treated her by hiding there relationship and his mood swings. What's a girl to do so she says she will think about it but then she remembers Andrew. Wow I am hooked.
What a predicament Margot is in! She's back home, ready to change her life and has met a great new guy. Then out of the blue, Richard shows up to try to win her back. What will she do? Who will she choose? This series really has me hooked! This book was short and fun and I couldn't put it down till I was done. I was pulled in to the story right from the beginning. I can't wait to read the next book to see what Margot decides!

Margot thinks back about her relationship with her ex, Richard, when he shows up at her door. She had decided to leave New York and move back to Texas. Will she stay and see if she can start a new life or will she go back? The story is well written and interesting with another cliffhanger ending. I was looking forward to seeing what happened next instead of a backstory and hope the next one moves toward the future.
This part of the story is a look back at Margot and Richard's relationship. He's was a real jerk. I'm not sure why she stayed with him for so long. I wish each part was longer. As soon as you start getting into the story, it ends and you have to pay for the next 30-50 pages. Not sure if it's worth it.
