Great tips and tricks for travellers and expats alike.

Not the usual “how to” guide full of cliches and long drawn out explanations of things we already know but an easy to read and interesting guide to getting the best deals as well as staying safe.

Can’t recommend this enough to any savvy travellers.

Good book with useful tips

As a digital nomad and a soon to be expat, I drink these types of books up where I can find them. A lot of basic advice with a few golden nuggets. The VPN advice was useful.

This is a good read for people with little experience of travelling.

I liked the beginning of the book explaining the three types of people: travellers, digital nomads and expats. I have been a traveller for a long time (visited around 50 countries) and now I am an expat (moved from Latvia to Spain) and I am planning to become a full time digital nomad next year (going to the around the world trip).

So, I actually expected to find something really practical and valuable for me in this book....
Haven't found anything new for me, my first reaction was to give it one star, but for the reason that some of the hacks worked as a nice reminder I decided to rate it a bit higher:
- VPN and incognito mode (I always forget about it);
- using the power of a good review (can really be a nice gesture, not even a hack);
- the way to avoid the inconvenient recliner (caused me to smile);
- the hack to help you never lose your memories (so true).

But finally I found couple of tricks, which I have actually never used before and I thought I could really try one day:
- take a cab at the departures terminal;
- last minute travel packages;
- couple of useful resources on how to compare the cost of living.

That's why I gave it one more start. So, finally 3 stars and 10 eur for very few valuable info for me.... :((((
