Yesterday, I had peace and quiet in my beach-side cabin. Now, I there's someone living next door, making it hard to focus.
Olivia Watts is the most infuriating person I have ever met. She acts like she’s the only one alive on the planet.
And then to make things worse, she has to lay there on the beach in her slinky bikini while I’m trying to work. I can’t even look out at the turquoise ocean waters to clear my head without seeing her curvy body blocking my view.
No matter how much I tried to avoid her, she seemed to pop up everywhere. I was tempted to move to a new cabin… and I probably should have. My life didn't need anymore complications, including Olivia.
So, how did I end up in her cabin in the middle of the night? And why was I staying?
Dear Reader, This is an enemies to lovers romance. Short, steamy, and sweet packed with all the feels - the perfect pick for a quick read! You can expect a HEA with no cheating and no cliff-hangers. I think you’ll really love Olivia’s and Frankie’s story! Give it a read, prove me wrong. ;) <3 Nikki <3
It may have been short but it irritated the hell out of me.I started this novella thinking it was a enemies to lovers story-but naahh it was anything but that. Both Olivia and Frankie are divorcees and meets in Mexico. The weirdest thing is that Frankie stated to despising her FOR NO REASON AT ALL but that she listens to loud Music. On their third meeting he asks her out.So much for being enemies.
The writing was wattpad quality, there were so many misspellings that i wanted to pull my hair out-and it was even worse written than some amateur writers from wattpad. This is also the second story in a series, but it will be the last book i have read by this author.
This book is a true emotional read with characters that are real and relatable; their chemistry is instant. It is a well written, funny, witty, fast pace, and engaging page turner. Definitely recommended!

This is The second installment in this series. It was quick and easy to read on one sitting.

Really quick read and it was nice seeing a book about a woman over forty. 3.5 * read. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Olivia Watts had a bad breakup with Danny and this time, she was serious that she would not go back with him. She made plans for two weeks in Mexico to get her mind off of things. But as she finished her bath, her phone indicated a text – from Danny. He was very controlling, making her ask permission for anything she wanted to buy. And now he was telling her he gave her enough time and she needed to come back. And as she walked to the living room, she heard his distinctive car engine – he was outside Hope’s house and she was alone! His texts got meaner and nastier as she huddled on the floor shivering. She knew he didn’t love her; he didn’t like her; he just didn’t want to lose.
Olivia was enjoying the private beach, plunging into the ocean, then coming back to her towel and cranking up her music. A man’s voice told her the music was too loud, his shadow blocking the sunshine. Frankie scowled at her and went back to his deck next door. He was working on his laptop, on the brink of losing his job or he would have been swimming in the ocean right now. He had to figure out how to make up with his controlling father who owned this resort and made sure Frankie had no money and had to come to him. And he had to figure a way to convince his ex to let him see his child, Ana. His divorce had bankrupt him, and any money he got went to care for Ana. The front desk called him to ask him to come in to cover for short staff. He got to stay at the cabin but had to cover when they needed him. Olivia saw him leave and turned on her music, but fell asleep. Next she knew, the man had come over to again ask her to turn it down – it was after midnight! Why were men such jerks!
For some reason, the next day Frankie looked over at her and this time, he walked across the sand to her. Now what had she done? But he asked her to take a swim with him, pulled her close in the water, and flirted with her. Before he did anything she was hoping for, he stopped and said he would see her that evening! He wanted her to think of him for the rest of the day, so that her last 3 days here made a difference! She wasn’t sure she liked this game.
He had thought about moving to a new cabin. Things were so complicated in his life and she would be just one more complication. But he needed a break. And she did as well. Would the evening he planned be just what they needed? Would he be able to let her go?
I wasn’t very impressed with the story. Frankie was too hostile for an initial meeting, with a paying guest, simply over loud music that he could have nicely asked her to turn down. His complete turnaround of attitude when he invited her to swim made no sense. There seemed to be nothing that prompted that. And her being unwilling to call the police on her potentially dangerous ex Danny seemed way too wishy-washy. She was safely away from him with friends next door waiting to help her, yet she wouldn’t make a move against his harassment, preferring to hide out on the floor. So basically, lots of things didn’t make sense, didn’t come together well, and I not only didn’t feel drawn to the characters, but didn’t like the story line either.
SATISFACTION UNDERSTATED!!! Griping gremlins! We say bring and man did they. This baby may be quick but there ain't nothing short about it. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, kicking this gem into a churning vortex, blasting it into a frenzy with a life-altering realization. Dynamics and contingencies in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this web so deep until everything else ceases to exist. Braided, bound and entangled, exposing the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in it's strength and awe-inspiring in it's depth. You feel everything the characters feel, you become part of the experience instead of on the sideline. The intense chemistry and undeniable attraction flows from the pages, bringing the heat and magic until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant through your veins. The characters, banter, dialogue, interactions, charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow, transforming into genuinely charismatic personalities. The scenes are so colorfully descriptive it paints an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Outstanding job guys, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Don't Hate Me series. In this book, Olivia is still living with Hope and hiding from her ex. When their friend Tori goved Olivia the money to take a vacation, she leaves for Mexico. Olivia booked a cabin at a resort that was supposed to be private and secluded, but there is aman staying close by in another cabin. Frankie's father owns the resort, but he was threatening to disown Frankie. Frankie was recently divorced and lost everything, even seeing his daughter. Now Frankie is working hard to get to see his daughter again and doing everything needed at the resort. When he wants to rest after work, he is disturbed by Olivia and snaps at her about her music. Olivia thinks Frankie is too cranky, even if he is attractive. Frankie is attracted to Olivia and after watching her he decides he lost too much and he is going to have her. When Frankie goes to Olivia, he finds the attraction is mutual and he wants to be with her, but she is leaving in three days. I really enjoyed this instant love romance. I think both Olivia and Frankie felt the connection right away. Olivia deserved to start over and be happy. Frankie needed to be happy too so he could find a way to move on and fight for his daughter. Good one.
Liked the story and characters but needs proofreading
The Vacation is the second book in the Don't Hate Me series. It was entertaining story with a couple characters that are both struggling with the circumstances in their current lives due to the action of their ex. They are neighbors at a Mexican resort - his father owns and he works there and she is on vacation for a week to get away from everything. So while I liked the story and the characters I hated the number of proofreading errors. I mean in the second sentence of the first paragraph of the first chapter is where I spotted my first one. And they just kept on racking up from there at an average of more than 2 a chapter. In the end what should have been a 4 Star rating is instead 3 Stars, and I am giving it that only because I also liked the fact that both of the main characters were middle aged, as in forty plus.
Olivia was going on vacation for a week to regroup and get into a better frame of mind. Her ex has been making her life miserable. She has a week in a cabin with a private beach. When she arrives she has an altercation with the guy in the cabin next door who doesn’t like loud music. There is a few more episodes between them until they go out for a swim. Frankie is living in the cabin next door paying rent but his dad owns the resort but Frankie must help out when needed. There are definitely some surprises along the way and some explosive moments. It is a sexy little read with a few surprises.

olivia was on vacation and booked a cabin at a resort, where frankie's father owned, Frankie just got a divorce and lost everything including his daughter, frankie was bitter and seeing Olivia happy and relaxed got to him. just seeing frankie no matter how attractive he was made Olivia very wary but she liked him. and frankie even though he was still getting over everything with his marriage he was still very much interesting getting with Olivia , even though she made it clear she would be leaving soon . This was a book on insta love and i really liked it .

This is a quick story that has Frankie going from frustrated to love in no time. Standalone with no cliffhangers. Olivia has to get away from her ex and figure out what is next in her life. A trip to Mexico will help, but her neighbor doesn't seem to like her much. Frankie has his own set of problems and the hot woman next door is a major distribution. If you can't beat them join them right! It gets hot in a hurry, but I enjoyed it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received a ARC copy of this book and voluntarily provide my review. This is a instalove short. I have read several instaloves and will say this was ok. Not too much plot as a woman goes on a vacation to get away from a ex. She meets Frankie. This book said enemies to lovers. Yes, there is some friction about noise a couple of times but then it’s all on couple in love. Would like to have seen a bit more plot or build up between the two. Seemed extremely fast paced even for a instalove. On a positive note it is a fun quick read and great to pass some time.
All Olivia wanted was some time and space to recover from her last relationship so a vacation in Mexico seems like the solution to her problems or at least it was until she met Frankie, her grumpy neighbor.
Frankie’s life has hit a low point as after divorcing his wife he finds himself in a custody battle for his daughter and his father is only adding to his problems and not relieving them so the last thing he needs is a noisy neighbor when he has to remain focused.
It is only a matter of time before the chemistry between them ignites but is it a fling or the beginning of forever?
The writing will draw you in after only a few pages and have you finishing the book in one sitting. There is the perfect amount of angst and romance to keep you hooked.
I loved how their relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways you never expected. I would suggest picking up a copy asap, you will NOT be disappointed!

I really enjoyed this short insta love romance. Olivia and Frankie have both been hurt in the past and their first impressions of each other aren't the best. Once they get to know each other though, whew! Super hot chemistry!

I enjoyed this new "Don't Hate Me" story. This is Olivia and Frankie's story. It's a quick and short read with an enemies to so much more plot. The attraction between them there but there are some unbelievable parts in the story. This is a good story with some drama, passion and steam. I thought it could be better developed and written to make certain aspects more believable.
Had previously read the neighbour.... Definitely quick change of heart for Frankie!! Olivia definitely needed time away to distance herself from douche of a ex... I won't give much away other then expect some tempers at first from a certain exotic romeo, then plenty of heat with a possibility for h.e.a?
Olivia and Frankie's journey was a rollercoaster, many ups and downs but they were drawn to each other. The attraction and chemistry was strong between them. They were made for each other. I enjoyed this story.
Wow I enjoyed this book. The characters are well developed and engaging with undeniable chemistry between the couple which made for a storyline that kept me turning the pages.

Frankie and Olivia both have pasts that have affected their current lives. Each fights their attraction but lust wins in the end. Can their pasts and present move into a HEA.
