This was the funniest series I read all year hands down!

I did not like Tony at first but I really grew to love him so much!! He was crazyyyy but he didn’t play about Camirah or his respect!! Tony’s mouth was wrecklessss he didn’t care what he said & he was ready to unalive anybody at the drop of a dime 😭🤣 he was real deal unhinged but I loved every minute of it!!

Eitan worked my nerve from the first book to the last! He didn’t know who or what he wanted! Holli was nuts & she had no right having no baby! Eitan should’ve slept that night 😭 I’m glad him & Rubbie finally got it together!


Rahim tap danced on my last nerve throughout the ENTIRE series 😒 I stg he literally PMO from book 1 to book 5! He was the most confused man I’ve ever read in any book my gawd!! Every time he came up I wanted to toss my kindle 😭
Imo Amara was too good for him!! He was hot garbage!

Jillie & Miah were so cute! I loved their relationship besides Star & her annoying childish antics!! They complemented each other well! & I loved that he wasn’t scared of Tony like Vernon was 😭! They deserved their happy ending!!

Joy & Nala were certified NUT CASES! The level of delusion was actually INSANE!! You would think they would get tired of Tony dog walking them but nope they took it on the chin every single time & fell for him even harder 😭 Two IDIOTS!

This series had EVERYTHING. Drama, betrayal, toxic relationships, family mess, love, loyalty, violence, secrets, and enough IGNANT behavior to keep me turning pages like my life depended on it. Every book had me feeling something, whether I was mad, yelling at my Kindle, laughing out loud, or questioning if I was the one who needed therapy! Unfortunately I am TEAM TONY!!!
Now did Tony have a hand problem? YES. Did he need jail time, a psych hold, and a straight jacket? ABSOLUTELY. 😂 But somehow I STILL hated Rahim more.
Tony was beyond toxic, rude, disrespectful, and inappropriate. Absolutely out of pocket half the time. BUT he was honest, he took care of his wife and family, and I’m sorry but that man was FUNNY AS HELL! Tony might be one of the funniest MMCs I have ever read.

This entire series was a damn EXPERIENCE. This is one of my favorites from Shvonne Latrice. She gave me characters I could love, characters I could hate, and characters that had me questioning my own morals because why the hell am I rooting for THIS man?! 😂
Five books. Five times I was entertained. Five times I cried laughing until my sides hurt. And somehow I’m STILL talking about these people. I will NEVER forget Tony Wacko, Camarih, Baby Cuz, or Crip Cam.

This was the most entertained I have ever been while reading. This series was such a good time.

still don’t like the side characters

Still don’t like Rahim. Still don’t like Jilly. Still don’t like Shanece. Still don’t like Rubie. This book really put out there that certain characters were better people than others. I didn’t like that. Just say these people weren’t suited for each other or just weren’t right for each other instead of they couldn’t compare or I was a better catch. In Book 4, I feel like nothing really happened for most these characters to get a HEA. That translated into this book, all the couples still have drama going on. I hate that Star went out like that. 10 facials a day? Be for real. The timeline also threw me off a little. In this book, they said it’s been a few years since the last book but how are Baby Cuz and Haleigh still babies? In the epilogue, Baby Cuz is only 4. A few grammar mistakes. 90% and some people still beefing.

"You Can't Imitate This Violence"

This is an epilogue in the form of a Reloaded narrative pitch is a catch-up to our favorite cast of characters, and I was down for all of it. Tony is still being hilariously rude. Cam is still growing into her cray street queen persona. Baby Cuz is still bad as hell. Jilly and Nehemiah are trying to out drama Star. Rahim is still begging like a fool. Rubie and her Rapper Boo, Etiene hit some snags post-partum. Shaniece and Wade have to navigate their quickie romance. And final villains get dealt with hood style.

Like Books 2-4, we get sucked into the realness, drama, entanglements, and surreal criminality mixed with charm and lots of love. The emotions in this book felt visceral in a street sense, as we get the multiple characters to settle their moral, personal, or emotional debts. As an epilogue, it serves as a show, one we all deserve; watching all these characters finally get it together. The lapse of time from Book 1 to Book 5 was 5 years, and we definitely got the payoff we deserved deserved.

I did not realise this book was needed…

Having gotten to Book 4 and felt that there was enough of a resolution at that point, I didn’t think there was a need for this 5th book and to be honest, I suppose Book 4 could be a stopping point if you’ve had enough. But book 5 does wrap everything up in a way that can be considered a proper “happy” ending if you’ve gotten to know the characters and are thinking of what a best case scenario for all these imperfect characters could be. Once again, Tony and Camarih are unhinged, probably more so than any of the previous books, but at least you can depend on them to have some sense. Although here, like in the rest of this series, I use “sense” loosely. None of the characters are likeable and all of them are problematic and unhinged. Most of the other characters in the book are going through things and make really foolish choices. There is quite a lot of growth and healing in this book and I wish more time had been spent resolving the growing pains that many of the relationships and characters were experiencing. But ultimately, this was a HEA style resolution dotting all the i’s and crossing all the t’s. Content warning for several instances of VAW (from the MMC) and fighting over men, but it has to be said, it is an eminently readable series if you take it as the problematic dark romance it’s meant to be.

Okay I wasn’t sure why we needed a book 5. The ending of book 4 wrapped up nicely. The first part of the book I kept questioning…why? Why did we need this. Then I was getting mad b/c some of the characters I believed got they shit together…in fact didn’t and that pissed me off! I thought about DNF’n b/c the stupidity and conscious mistakes these fools made irritated my soul.

BUT…halfway in, I was back vested. Lol. Tony still didn’t seem as recklessly funny as he was in books 1-3; but he has some good ones.

The women in this book irked me; but at the same time it was real! I for sure know or have known sm1 with each of these characteristics & behaviors. Hell I got a few of their characteristics! Lol

And the men, the most trifling MF’s I’ve read since reading The Carter Boys…just from a different region. Cuz LA IS DIFFERENT! But my LA dudes come around a bit. lol

Lastly, I’ll always love Shavonne b/c she’s writing from a Southern Cali, LA vibe and that’s my hood!

This crew is still crazy! It's good to see everyone going strong. Tony is still just as crazy as the first book! It's hard to believe Amara took Rahim back, but stranger things have happened during this series. Everyone is happy and married with families. Excellent ending for this series. While I was entertained, this was absolutely not romance and I hated all the characters. The only exception would be the kids and Rubie’s dad and Amara. Everyone else were out their minds.

Tony remained the same from beginning to the end, disrespectful and ridiculous. But he cracked me up.

Rahim- didn’t deserve any woman. Amara was the only true gem. She had self worth and never ever compromised it. The scene when she told him about the type of women he chooses was TEA!!

Rubie- deserved everything that happened to her. She spent all that time trashing Frida for what, because was a dancer. I hated how she placed herself as somehow better than Frida. Referring to her as a wh*re and trashing that girl for a man. Because of how Rubie was moving, Frida deserved to get her lick back.

Shanece- I guess out of all the foolishness she was not as foolish. She wasn’t an Amara by any means, but she was not as much of a bird as the other FMCs. The bar was in h*ll, so there’s that.

Jilly- wasn’t deserving of Nehemiah. I think she annoyed me because of Tony.

The timeline was really hard to follow, especially with the epilogue. Seems like the children would’ve been older. The plots were WILD!

I get it the author was closing loops. But it was weird.

Also Wade didn’t seem shocked or had too much of a reaction to his ex’s crazy actions.

I felt bad for rubie being cheated on especially after giving birth and he couldn’t wait until she was in the clear to have sex but at the same time I don’t because she slept with him when he was with the other girl and told him things on purpose just to break them up.

I don’t know how Ari is still with Tony he’s wayyyy too aggressive some might even see it as one step away from being abusive. She shouldn’t be scared of him at all. He mentions slapping her up and she mentioned at one point “I figured he’d hem me up when I got home” and afterwards said she would try to do something sexual to get him to stop like huh??? The fact that he is still around multiple women that likes him and he knows they like him talking about it’s just business and tells Ari she’s doing to much when she says something about it is telling but when she ask him what if she was doing the same stuff his response is he would harm them and he’s not worried about it because it wouldn’t happen.
It’s years later and he hasn’t had a character development yet… He’s still blaming everything on him being off in the head

Love Her Writing, BUT….

I love her writing!!! Especially because of the many pages, and sequels. I read mostly at work. The things that I sort of find annoying is how often you read about brushing, flossing, and rinsing with Listerine, the visuals I get from the simpering emotion, and how all the characters come off as “cookie cutter”. The main female is this series sounds like the other main character about the two cousins that ran away from home, and lived in a motel. All the main men characters are over 6 ft, covered in tattoos, and beyond crazy. However the stories are different.

And at the ending of book 4 it ended as if that was the end. So what was the purpose of book 5? To continue the drama. I say this all the time, but ima say it again. Stop playing with a man that has no issue for telling it how it is. You know thugs need love too. Not all rumors are lies. Opposites definitely attracts. First and foremost, I love Tony down and when he’s Houston, I love him even more🫶🏽. This series gave you everything you need and then some. Alright, let’s get into it.

Tony is in a lane of his own hands down. I have yet to find someone to match his energy. This man had me in tears laughing through out the entire read🤣. You never know what’s going to come out of his mouth and he didn’t care - disrespectfully. I promise you everyone could get and did🤭. When I say he was just a 🥷🏽 that lived life as he pleased and dared anyone to comment or speculate, he did just that. He was a provider, thug, in that life, about that life, had no love for these female (you know what word/s he used) or so he thought. Yeah most of that changed once he met and came across Camirah🥰. From jump this man played no games with or about Camirah. The way he loved her openly not only shocked those that know him but hisself. My guy never thought this be him.Then when he becomes Houston with her. The vulnerability is it for me🫶🏽. I loved when he was Houston with her.

Camarih is just that girl- PERIODT. She wasn’t hood but can be if needed. She was a child that stands by “I didn’t ask to be here or for either of you to be my parents”🤨. Her parents were the worst especially that mother. One thing I don’t like is a parent that doesn’t listen to their child. Honestly the mother and Bobbi got what they so deserved🫣. What my girl wasn’t expecting was Tony Wacko come and change the game. This girl ended up loving him down and honestly picked up some of his unhinged ways🤣. There bond and love for each other was like no other. They were each other peace and best friend. The chemistry was there in and out of the bedroom😝. Just know Camarih hands were not to be played with. Now, the things my girl went through I don’t wish on my worst enemy. Being front row of losing the love of her life Driz, to finding out years later that her best friend Isis had a hand in it was diabolical😒. My girl had every right to act and feel the way she did when it came to Isis cause honestly what did Isis think was to happen or going to happen. Camarih was able to live her soft girl era with a side unhingeness included.

As for all the other birds and low life’s- Nala, Joy, Holli, Frida, Al, Mac, Stallion, Prince and the ones not mentioned got engraver things that they deserved and then some🤨. Joy and Nala were the main one. Like heffas are y’all cool. I didn’t know what language they needed but they just wasn’t getting it at all🤣.

Eitan, irritated me until he got right. Like ya boy intentions were there but he just couldn’t get it right😔. Like you can get all the advance in the world but you have to be yourself. He was going about it wrong instead of being himself😔. From jump Rubie was the one and he knew it. As Rubie, yeah wanted to go off on her a few times but she got it together 🤭. Rahim, I didn’t think anyone could irritate my soul but babe he did. This boy just couldn’t get it together and be a man. Like how many need to hurt for you to get it right my guy🤨! One thing for sure it works for him.

Listen there is so much I can say about this read but the review would never end. I understand now why everyone said that Tony Wacko is their comfort read. If I need a good laugh, I promise this would be the series I would jump into. Shvonne pens is not like anyone else. Her character all have that distinct personality and I love it. Being raised some in a LA area, the mentality is on point. This was the 2nd series I have read by the author and promise it will not be the last…

What am I going to do now that it’s over ? I love this series !!! This book had me cackling , furious and happy that everybody finally got it together and got their happy ending even if some didn’t deserve it.

First off , there’s a special place in hell for Rahim . There’s no way we’re 5 books in and this man is still playing with women’s lives because he can’t stand being alone and never knows what he wants . Why propose if you know you don’t want to actually marry her ? He’s an idiot I swear. You could never make me like him. I’m glad Amara made him sweat because he didn’t deserve her.

There’s no way all these girls fall in love with Tony and he gives them nothing to fall in love with. It’s crazy. I wish he set more boundaries than he does. If Camarih worked with or was constantly surrounded by men who like her or were in love with her then they’d no longer be among the living so I don’t understand how hypocritical he is when Camarih asks him not spend time with those women. It was so funny when Camarih went to that concert Mac invited her too because she was right Tony needed a taste of his own medicine and he had to learn. I’m glad he saw where she was coming from and they both set boundaries. I love them both together. Also Tony is too hilarious!!! The fact that his kids are just like him is even funnier.

Eitan ? Really? Like just why ? He hurt my feeling with that. It’s like almost every character put themselves in compromising situations they didn’t have to be in. I’m glad Rubie didn’t play with him though. At least he’s better than Rahim

Joy , Cheri and angel are some strange individuals. Like they are both insane . I glad they got with they got and honestly should’ve gotten worse.

I’m happy Shanece got her happiness with wade. I knew when he was first introduced he was perfect for her .

Ahhh! My final review for this series, and I am genuinely sad to leave these characters behind. I need physical copies because this became one of those reading experiences I fell hard for.

Tony Wacko Terranova is one of the most unhinged yet romantic men I have ever read, and nobody can convince me otherwise. This man will threaten somebody’s life, curse everybody in a five-mile radius out, and then turn around and say the sweetest shit imaginable to Camarih and Baby Cuz. The duality of this man had me cry-laughing the entire series.

Seeing him fully settle into being a husband and father made these last books so damn delicious. Because Tony never stopped being Wacko. That man stayed hood, dramatic, possessive, loud, and absolutely insane. The difference is that all that energy became centered around protecting and loving his family. Watching him become so devoted to Camarih and Baby Cuz while still acting completely off his damn rocker was one of my favorite parts of this entire series.

And Camarih remained THAT girl until the very end. I would never step to her. EVER.

That woman is not to be trifled with, and neither is her man. Camarih will beat your shit up, tie you up, lecture you about messing with her family, and then go home to be cute with Tony like nothing happened. I love her bad.

This series is hood romance, ride or die love, family, emotional growth, messy people trying to love each other correctly, and some of the funniest dialogue I have read in a minute. Between Tony’s mouth, Camarih standing on business, and the nonstop drama, I had the best time reading this series. Shvonne, it would be a true honor to meet you in person one day.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A really cute ending to a long series. I loved Tony and Camarih’s love from the beginning. She was the only person that could get through to him, and he was her only rider.

He was crazy - wacko for sure, but there was a method to his madness.

The timeline was a bit off to me though. It kept talking about how it had been “years,” but their baby was conceived and born not long into their relationship, and in the fifth book, the baby was literally still a baby lol - not even walking, just cruising on the furniture.

Anyway, maybe I’m the only one that caught that lol 😂

Thank you for creating an additional book for this series. The author did her big one with this book. Them thirsty broads should have known better than to play with Camarih and her property. Just like Tony didn’t play about Camarih, she didn’t play about him. She did however piss me off with how reckless she was with her life. Playing pitty pat with peoples lives. Where is Max? Probably still laying on the floor in that venue, lol. Rahim irked my soul so bad. I never wanted anything bad for someone more than him. He was dead wrong, starting in book 1. Eitan is definitely slow because wtf. Now I think he deserved to get beat up by Holli because, sir, you were doing anything. I’m on the fence about Shenice. SMH, I did not like how she did Paul. She was weak in my opinion, but she showed up in this book. These women are some strong women because they went for anything. I’m not that strong.

This series will make you say hummmm, wtf, and laugh a lot. Tony Wacko is an amazing character. I hope we get a time jump about the kids and, of course, more Tony Wacko.

Side bar: Ms. Author lady, I loved how you showed Tony’s softer side. How he had feelings in the backyard, yup. He definitely deserved sloppy toppy after showing his vulnerable side.

Tony & Camarih were heavily tested in Book 5, but proved to all that they were meant for each other 🥰 she slowly starting to become just as crazy as he was 🤨 Joy & Nala we’re still delusional.. like give it up already, he never leaving Buttascotch 😙 Rubie continued to get on my nerves 😒 and I felt like she was super contradictory.. Eitan don’t know how to put his foot down and that’s why people always getting over on him. Star: get over it 😠 because you made the decision and kept flip flopping and so he flopped on to the next.. Ain’t nobody got time for all that back and forth 😏 Happy for Shanice and Wade, finding love ❤️ the day at the zoo with the gorilla 🦍 will forever be one of my favorite scenes 🤣 and also, Baby Cuz cussing 😝 Houston is a certified nutcase 🤯 but I enjoyed him so much 🤣 He absolutely loves his Buttascotch 😘 and Baby Cuz and Baby Crip 😆 I loved this series down and sad that it’s come to an end, but it was sooo good 🥰
