Sweet and steamy. Hero and heroine are adorable together and so in love. Safety: hero was heroine’s first lover, no info about hero, heroine was abused by her stepfather, he is after them and he shoots the hero. Tiny drama, sweet epilogue with 2 kids. ❤️

Esta es la historia de Bryce y Skyla y podría haber estado muy bueno porque había una historia interesante con el malo de Malcom al acecho pero quedó de nuevo en BIEN y nada más.
Creí que iba a ser un romance deportivo pero el baseball no aparece aquí salvo muy al final.
Lo que me pareció flojo...
Primero el hecho de que la heroína tenga 15 y el héroe 25 cuando la ve por primera vez... Se me hace raro que tenga algo por ella cuando la ve desde el palco. Él dice que era como un amuleto de la buena suerte pero se me hizo muy extraño y poco realista.
Como también cuando da a luz en la cocina. Estaban siguiendo consejos de cómo ayudar en un parto desde el celular? No estuvo escrito de manera creíble!
Me faltó más que flash backs para ver cómo se volvió sólida esta relación, quería leer el progreso. No solo destellos y escenas de sexo. El rebote en la línea de tiempo de semanas a meses me deja huecos en la historia.
Igualmente fue diferente la puesta de la historia porque Bryce y Skyla ya están enamorados, quieren construir una familia pero deben resolver problemas del pasado.
Me gustó cómo arreglan su relación los hermanos y cómo Danny ayuda a Bryce.
Hacen aparición las parejas de los libros anteriores, me gustó verlas aquí reunidas. Me encanta que los libros estén interconectados.
Dejando de lado la falta de desarrollo, no deja de ser una historia de amor dulce, tiene un poco de suspenso sucediendo y una pareja con buena química. Los epilogos estuvieron muy lindos.
Y sigue la historia del amigo rockstar de Bryce...

This was a cute story which kinda made some of the plot elements a bit discordant. The hero and heroine are on the run from the heroines evil stepfather. We’re literally dropped into the middle of their story. We never see them meet, never see a relationship develop, never see their first time, never see them sneaking around to be together or get married. This story would’ve been much better even if it had flashbacks to those moments or vignettes preceding the main opening. Instead the heroine is 8 months pregnant, about to pop and the hero is rushing her to his brothers home to hide her away when the story opens.
It’s not terrible, just felt rushed and like all the good parts, the parts that make you emotionally invested in the characters, were missing. Still, for a quick read on one’s lunch, this was perfect.

This addition to the series is sweet with danger as Bryce and his new bride Skyla find themselves on the run from her stepfather. Don't be deceived, it's still packed with some sizzling good times between the 19 and 29 year-olds. This was a nice easy read with glimpses of the couples from prior stories in the series. I enjoyed this as part of the Whoa! I Married a... collection.

Running away that is the only option Skyla and Bryce have when her over controlling stepfather is well still over controlling and abit dangerous he is extremely controlling she can't talk to no one, she is like rapunzel also 80% sure he killed her mother. (They said accident but he was poor and married rich wife?) but that didnt stop Bryce the Pitcher of the team from having secert meetings with her and making sure that man doesn't harm one hair on his girls head.
So plan is made now they just gotta get them away and make sure Skyla and his bundle of joy are safe. Also we saw a sneak of the next couple ;)

I really liked this story. The hotshot baseball player that fell in love at first sight. He was older than her but that changed nothing for them. This story was sweet romantic and steamy with action in it. A HEA and insta love without real drama.

Skyla fell for Bryce the first time she saw him as a fifteen year old, he was magic as a pitcher but after her mum dies she left with a stepfather that now has control over her life and boy is he making sure he keeps her on a very short lead. But things change when she turns eighteen and she meets Bruce again, her feelings for him haven’t changed and she wants to live and spend her life with Bryce but will she be able to escape her stepfathers clutches and keep her life or will her stepdad take everything from her?
Bryce has the best day of his career the day he saw Skyla but she was sunshine to a man like him, too young and too unattainable but it’s years later and she is a deliciously attractive woman one he will make his but her life has danger attached and she can’t escape. She was made to be his and he will protect her from anything with his life. Will these two get their happy ever after or end up heartbroken?
Loved this book and series so far and am dying for Tristans book. This is a highly recommended read and this author is definitely a favourite of mine.4 🌟

Even though she was young when Skyla met Bryce for the first time she knew he was her destiny. When her mom passed away, she found herself not only dealing with her grief but also her stepfather who allowed her little freedom and no independence for his own nefarious reason.
Bryce is the pitcher for the baseball team that is owned by Skyla’s family. When she became an adult they were no longer able to deny the chemistry between them and have kept their relationship a secret but circumstances have changed and that is no longer possible.

I felt like I tuned in when the story was half way through...even though I checked twice and I started at the beginning.
Every one has a back story but they're not really handled well. I'd feel more sympathetic if I read what that stepfather did rather than have it told to me by a third party/another character.

I loved Skyla and Bryce’s story so much! As is with every story by this author, I loved the characters, loved the overall plot, and loved how everything came together so wonderfully. I recommend this and the entire series for sure.

Megan Wade has written a 5-star book that tells the story of Skyla and Bryce. Skyla is the daughter of Joanna Fortsworth the owner of the DC Nationals. Skyla is 15 when she sees Bryce for the first time and soon after that day her mother is killed in a carjacking. Skyla's stepfather Malcolm Campbell becomes her guardian and the team's owner until Skyla turns 25 or she gets married. Malcolm has kept Skyla away from boys but she has found ways to see Bryce when she turned 18. Now she is pregnant and she and Bryce are married. They are on the run from Malcolm and they are heading towards his brother Danny's place. Once at Danny's, Bryce tells his brother and Danny's friends what is going on. Skyla and Bryce have been at Danny's for a while when Danny comes up with a plan to get Malcolm to come looking for them. Bryce's friend Tristan has a private plane and Danny has a private island, Danny tells Bryce that if Tristan will fly them to the island they will be safe since no one will know where they are. Skyla and Bryce have been on the island for a few weeks when they hear a plane coming in. Bryce thinks that it is his brother Danny so they go down to meet the plane. As they get closer they see the plane take off. Bryce feels something is not right so he tells Skyla they needed to go back. They don't get far when they see a man in front of them, it is Malcolm. Bryce asks "What are you doing here?" Malcolm tells him that he is there to get what was his. He also tells them that it was nice of them to both be in the same place so he could take care of them both. Bryce charges Malcolm and before he can get to him Malcolm pulls a gun and shots him. Bryce wakes up in the hospital with his family and friends around him. The one person he doesn't see is his daughter Hope and he asks about her. He wants to know what happened to Malcolm and he is told that he is in jail. Skyla and Bryce are back with the team and things are going great for them.

Well really Skyla is the owner of the team after inheriting it at the age of fifteen when her mother was killed. But her stepfather Malcolm Campbell became her guardian and therefore also has power over the her estate. When Skyla turned eighteen she and Bryce started secretly dating. Whjen she becomes pregnant and they are married everything changes. But to say that Malcolm is not happy would be the understatement of the year as he is about to lose everything he has become accustomed to, which he will not do without a real fight.
I was not sure about this book initially as it sort of started part way into the story it seems. Plus if you have read Whoa! I Married a Billionaire! first then you will better understand the characters. But it is nicely written and the characters work well together with sweetness, romance and some sizzle.

Beautiful love story.
Bryce & Skyla's is a lovely sweet love story that was being torn apart by her evil stepdad Malcolm. After Skyla's mum died he is left in charge of the company & team until Skyla's married then it all goes to her but he is determined that is never going to happen by keeping her locked up. Bryce is their star player & has been in love with Skyla since he 1st saw her & has had to watch from the sides how withdrawn & sad she is because of Malcolm. They had finally got together in secret but when Malcolm found out she was pregnant his treatment of her got worse, I was so glad that they got away from him & on the run & got married. When they got to his brother Danny's house he was so glad they were safe & he promised to help them, everything seemed perfect. Malcolm caught up with them even though they were on a private island & took his revenge & shot Bryce, I couldn't believe that after everything they'd been through that it would end like this but thankfully Bryce & Skyla did get their happy ever after with baby Hope.

This one is super sweet and has good passion, but Skyla having a crush on Bryce since she was 15 and he was 25 was a bit weird. He felt connected to her when he saw her at age 15; they wait till she’s 18 to really connect, but still not the best scenario. Skyla’s mom dies, so her jerk stepfather has control over Skyla. The stepfather tries to control all aspects of her life and may be a danger to her. The hero, Bryce, plays for the baseball team Skyla/her stepfather owns. Instant connection between the two, but Skyla’s stepfather is causing major problems for Skyla. Skyla is pregnant and on the run with Bryce because they fear her stepfather, so they go to Bryce’s brother for help. His brother is Danny from the last book. I wish the story would’ve shown more of Skyla and Danny first coming together as a couple, but I liked the premise for this one. Interesting element of the jerk stepfather. Both characters are nice and easy to like; Skyla needs a bit more fire to her, but both were easy to root for. There’s more plot in this book than the last, so I’ll go with a 4 rating on this one.

Skyla è una giovane ragazza che ama Bryce da quando gli ha puntato gli occhi addosso. Bryce, giocatore di baseball vede Skyla e decide di averla con se per sempre appena maggiorenne. Scappano da un patrigno, la cui sola idea è eliminare Skyla per prendere l'eredità della defunta moglie.
Bryce non lascerà che le facciano del male. Ne a lei, ne alla loro piccolina.
Malcolm riuscirà ad avere i suoi soldi??
Ehhh una novelina carina, velocissima, e scoppiettante. Ritroviamo anche le due coppie precedenti che ora sono migliori amiche e vivono nella stessa città. Bryce e Skyla vengono integrati fin da subito e conosciamo anche la coppia seguente del rocker e della babysitter full-time!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Skye has crushed on Bryce since she was 15 when she saw him pitch his first game. She's always loved him and he has always cared for her from that first time too. When she turned 18 things finally got serious with them but she was watched so close by her step father who has control of her estate til she's 25 that its difficult for Skye and Bryce to get together. But get together they do and she becomes pregnant they finally run off, get married in Vegas and head to Bryce's brothers farm to hide out from Malcolm, her step father.These two work so well together, very caring and loving and when she has their daughter, Hope, loved their interaction. Malcolm is a real creep but he gets his in the end and Bryce and Skye get their happy ever after too and I really liked those two characters. They really grew up and grew together. Great little story..

Bryce and Skyla met when they were fifteen and he was just starting to show promise at a pitcher. Her mother had just passed and her step-father wasn't letting her do anything he didn't approve of. She and Bryce have manage to see each other without her step-father finding out. Now that she's eighteen she knows that she wants to be with Bryce for good and they start planning. However life gets in the way and they have to leave sooner than they planned. They run to Danny's family for help with dealing with him. Will they get away safely? Can they find a way to deal with her step-father and be together finally?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I received a copy from BookSprout; this is my honest review.
-I loved that it went back a bit to give us an idea how Bryce and Skyla met before turning the corner to Danny's farm where he was lounging with his friend Gavin.
-Much better than the last book, this one is cheesy and lovely, with a bit of suspense. You get 3 open door scenes in under 60 pages. They were quite busy.
-One thing I did not like is that you loose track of time. It's like the birthing lasted about 10 minutes and they were on the farm 2 days before they moved on. Apparently they stayed at the farm 3 months, so the birthing probably lasted more than 10 minutes.
-I was taken aback with the "gift" and thought Tristan quite insensitive to the situation. All's well that ends well; it also brings us to the next book.
-Good job on the editing.

It’s a quick and steamy read, which was enjoyable to read. There was of course lots of drama, angst and betrayal. But there was also lots of love, passion and smut! I’d recommend this read. It sure ignited an interest in baseball too ;) I give this one four and a half stars. And look forward to more in this series!

This is a fast past story that is intense. It begins with Bryce and Skyler running from her controlling stepfather. As you read their, you begin to see their story unfold and fill in.
Skyler saw Bryce when she was just a teenager, but she knew once their eyes met she was his, it was just a matter of time. As time went by, her mother past and her stepfather changed, keeping her locked up and controlling her movements waiting his time to find a way to get her hands on her inheritance. Finally able to be together, they realize the trouble and go to the one person Bryce can think for help, his brother.

This is another fast fun read in this great series and I would recommend you read the first two as well as you do get to meet recurring characters. There is plenty of steam between the characters and you just know that no matter what they will fond a way to be together

It is under trust which means her stepfather is now still remaining in the lap of luxury. He’s doing everything in his power to keep her away from anything and anyone who could dissuade her before she turns of legal age. Now that she is of legal age 18 she is in love with Bryce. She’s been in love with Bryce. Her and Bryce got married and she is expecting. The problem is is that Malcolm her stepfather has been trying multiple different ways of getting rid of her so he can take over the team. What are they going to do? Who can Skylar and Bryce trust to keep them safe and a little bundle of joy that has yet to arrive in the world? No cliffhangers a lot of excitement.

I liked this story. Although it's a short story, it's busy but entertaining. It's also not a sports romance. Bryce is/was a pitcher for the team that should be Skyla's but other than the occasional mention, it's not a big part of the story. The characters are interesting and it was nice to check in with couples from the first two books. The books are standalones but are interconnected. This isn't your usual romance. The story starts with Bryce and Skyla already together and building toward their future while trying to take care of stuff from the past. It was different, but I liked it anyway. Bryce and Skyla had a steamy relationship with laughs thrown in which was awesome. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Whoa! I married the pitcher is book three in the wedded curves series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Skyla has wanted Bryce since she first saw him. With her being in the clutches of her evil stepfather will she ever get her man?
The chemistry between Bryce and Skyla is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought that they were perfect for one another.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series. I need Tristons book now!
