Been awhile since I read from this author. This was pretty short novella and little steam.
Its rare to read a virgin guy and a non virgn girl. This one its because well Noah is pretty big and well woman he dated couldn't handle his size he is now wanting to date his next door neighbor maggie who seems to want him as bad as he wants her. But like him she has some insecure side since her ex loved to verbal abused her. Now these two are trying to date but things keep getting in their way. Or the insecurities keep poppin up.

She becomes Noah’s next-door neighbor and through his kindness, protectiveness, and compassion, he begins to help her heal. Neither has been comfortable making a move on a relationship they both want because of their own hang-ups and insecurities. Can they get past their fears and doubts and give it a try? Or will each walk away from something that could be wonderful if they weren’t so afraid?

A thorny problem
I liked the funny idea of Noah, a 36-year-old man who is still a virgin because he is too big and frustrated, even frightened by the reactions of women in the past in front what he has in his pants. The story is tender, hot, and it describes a few inappropriate behaviors, both male and female, in front of the two main characters who are sympathetic and kind.
Maggie is Noah’s neighbor, and they’re attracted to each other. However, Noah does nothing, and for good reason, he always frightened women with his enormous sex and he is still a virgin after his thirties. However, Maggie will help him reject his doubts, but their new relation is constantly confronted with souls less charitable than them and who want to abuse them in one way or another.

August 23, 2021I hate giving bad stars but I did not like this book. So I’ll just go ahead and not star it for the authors rating but damn. First the “curvy” woman mentioned. You’d never have even guessed that by the woman on the cover.
Come on authors if your gonna do curvy or plus size at least try and show that in the covers you pick.
Idk, this just wasn’t for me. I was going into this hoping for something other than what I got. How many other players can come in to a 60 page story that spans what 3 days? If that. We have her ex, his ex, and some creep who wanted to cheat on his wife.
I have my own rules and stuff when it comes to the books I buy or barrow I should have stuck with that.
I will say this tho. It could be perfect for some people. I was just immediately turned off by the not curvy person on the cover.

Taking into account the theme of the book it was sort of lackluster and it had way too much drama for such a short read. Noah and Maggie were cute.

One oversized problem that she is willing to help his solve
Noah is a thirty-six year old high school teacher who has a small little problem............he is oversized which has meant he still have his V-card. It seems that all through high school, university and then the first years of being a teacher he did date and go out with women but as soon as they got to check out his oversize problem they ran away like little mice fleeing a sinking ship and leaving Noah defeated and thinking he will never meet the woman that will be able to accept all of him that he can make a life with.
Maggie is twenty-eight years old and moved into the house next to Noah's about a year ago. She actually fled a toxic relationship with a controlling man who had lied to her as he was actually married. Then he lied to her even more by saying he had left his wife when he hadn't. She has been healing from the emotional damage that the relationship caused, along with some of the scars left from her previous relationships also.
Maggie and Noah have been the waving and "nice morning" type of neighbors but they have both been checking each other out. Noah actually watches Maggie secretly from inside his house and then also ends up doing things like going grocery shopping around the same time just so he can bump into her. But he has not been able to gather the courage and ask her out because he figures what the the point since she will just turn tail and reject him once they try to get intimate. Maggie can see it in Noah's eyes that he desires her but thinks he has not asked her out because of her size, as she is a curvy girl, or because there is something else wrong with her. It is going to take a lot for both Maggie and Noah to open up to each other but once they do watch out as it is going to be hot and interesting.
This is a fun and entertaining story. There is a lot of drama, both from each character internally, but also from a pervy male neighbor towards Maggie, an woman Noah had dated a few times trying to see if she can slide down his pole and Maggie's ex makes a drunken appearance that turns abusive. I enjoyed Oversized by Darcy Dawes.

Noah is a 36 year old virgin. He's not a bad looking guy by any stretch of the imagination, but he has a rather unusual issue that has stopped him from going further than third base.
Maggie is a 28 year old woman with baggage. After escaping an ex who physically & mentally abused her, she moves in next door to Noah. He is the complete opposite of all the other scumbags she has associated herself with over the years - He is a complete gentleman & often "saves" her from the lecherous married men in the neighbourhood.
They both fantasise about being with each other, but both think that it will never happen as they both have hang-up's that they feel are too big to overcome.
One day, Noah sees Maggie struggling with her groceries & goes to help her. Something seems to change in them both from that point on. There are still the issues they both carry, but their chemistry is off the charts!
What happens next is a beautiful, steamy story full of fretting, "will they, wont they" moments to keep you on the edge of your seat!
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone - It's a relatively quick read, but boy, is it full to the rafters with palpable loveliness!

Noah is a thirty-six year old virgin not because he wants to be but because every time he has gotten to the intimate stage in a relationship his size scares his partners off. So he just figures he is better off alone. That is until his new neighbor moves in. Maggie is just getting out of an abusive relationship and wants a fresh start. She twenty-eight and it seem like all the neighborhood married men are on the prowl for her. Noah helps intervene when it becomes too much. Then one day he helps her carry somethings inside and a connection was made between them. Soon they were talking and its not long before things heated up between them. Will Noah take a chance with Maggie? Can she show him that she's different than the other women he has known?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Ok. So I know that everyone has their own preference hen it come to romance/erotica. And obviously with a title like “Oversized” we know what kind of interest this caters to. However, this is not my particular area of interest. I read it for the virgin hero. And, it was OK. Not great.
If you are into gigantic junk and the pain of stuffing it all in there, then yes, I recommend this book. If you are looking for a pure virgin hero, then no. He has done everything before, even tried to get it in women before. So, he is technically a virgin but… barely.
If you are looking for a story then… please… why would you pick a book titled “Overstuffed”?

This story is just a very sweet one. It is short enough that there is hardly room for many deviations from the main theme. Jet at the same time the author manages to squeese in more or less everything needed for a good story. I always say that it is more difficult to write a short story well than a long story. In the short one, there is no room for any errors or sidesteps as there is in longer stories. So when an author manages that quite fairly and well they deserve the fantastic four stars that I am giving this story here tonight. This story even manages to have a few +18 scenes in it as well as the other neccessities of a story. So overall very well done.

Our couple both have baggage, some common, some of a rather unusual nature. The question is, can they overcome these issues to become a couple?
This is a contemporary romance, pure and simple. No major secondary themes to go with it. But of course, even pure and simple is neither of those things. The story is well written and the characters have solid backgrounds which nicely set the stage. The main issues they face are insecurities and lack of communications, although fortunately neither is too extreme. I liked both characters and really enjoyed the chemistry they developed as they worked through these issues to a very satisfying conclusion.

This was a good read overall. I loved the fact that Noah is the V in this book instead of Maggie. I really liked the chemistry and how Noah was just protective over Maggie. The only thing that I think could have been better was the ending. It was not really an HEA that I thought was going to happen; to me it was kind of left hanging. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a cute and short insta-attraction book.

I really enjoyed Oversized by Darcy Dawes. It was a quick and steamy read and its Noah and Maggie's story. Noah has wanted his sexy neighbor Maggie for months but he is packing a big secret that is keeping him from making his move. Noah's oversized problem has kept him a virgin at 36 years old. He had almost given up finding a woman that could handle him. But meeting Maggie, he cannot get her off his mind. Maggie has just gone through a nasty breakup that has he doubting Noah would want her. Will Maggie be the one to tame the beast?

Wonderful storyline of delightful characters with depth that play well off of each other. Great backstory that explains as to why all the hang ups for both characters. This was such a fun read that touches on so many scenarios that are both deceitful and humiliating in the most intimate ways. Love that they are able to get past and find their HEA.

This was a cute story that didn't take too long to read. I enjoyed both Maggie and Noah. Although, Noah was frustrating at times; but it was understandable if you had his issues. Noah's self confidence isn't where it probably should be. However,. things do work out in the end. They do have to get through Leo because he's terrible. Who's Leo? Well, you have to read the book.

Noah has a problem that only the perfect girl can fix but after so many false starts he us scared to try again. Maggie has noticed the way Noah looks at her but figured he is not interested in a girl like her since he has yet to make a move. These two have some fears to overcome and a couple of pests from the past to get rid of but eventually live conquers all and these two get their hea.

Noah has Physical features that makes intimacy an issue. He believes that Maggie will be his wanted love forever. Maggie has recovered from an ex that won’t quit. Maggie is ready for a new adventure with Noah. As long as he stays in one place. Characters are cool. Real interrupted situations. A read for coffee and donut. No cliffhanger

WANTED: Size Queen - This story is cute and humorous. Noah has got more going on below than most and finds himself with his v-card at 36. His fantasies include Maggie who is a magnet to married men, which she hates. Things get all mixed up between them a few times but look out when they get it sorted! Hahaha! Noah lived next door to Maggie and kept a close eye on her as he really wanted to date her. He didn't date much as he was oversized and most women couldn't handle him. It was a quick read and had a few conflicts for both of them but then an HEA

When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I can not wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

I Loved it! A unique well written read that is fast pace, well developed, emotionally deep, funny, and engaging with drama and ups and downs. The characters are sweet; the chemistry between them is amazing. An enjoyable read however, I think an epilogue should have been included.

This was pretty good. Well edited, flowed mostly well. My first read by this author. There were a couple of issues, as this was supposed to be in California and the author used a few words and phrases decidedly NOT American. It kind of removed me from the story at times.
