Great Beginning

4.5 stars - Richard Haswell and Elizabeth "Beth" Kimberley have instant sizzle that grows hotter with every installment! 🔥 This may be Cinderella-esque but love is not exactly in the air, at this point. I can't wait to see what comes next door this couple. 😍

I love this steamy tease of a short story. It's the first time Beth and Richard cross paths. I like how it quickly escalates.

Ah the Billionaire cliche. It's one of the most popular in erotica and saw it's biggest boom with 50 Shades of Gray. As such a comparison is essential and in that regard The Master Series is the copy that surpassed the original. Despite typos and grammatical errors the story is hot and the descriptions clear. Despite moving a bit quickly and being surprisingly comfortable with BDSM roles which should have been foreign the characters are well developed and likable. Their motivations make sense without being creepy.

This is a naughty, fun read that is all about the sex and the fantasy. You have to suspend disbelief a touch but there's no inner self dancing the Meringue so that's a plus.

Hummmm. Interesting. There is some discrepancies with a true D/s relationship. For not really having a ton of experience she is very pliable to him and does everything he asks. Our billionaire is very one dimensional and I guess since we don’t get his POV he seems lame. He had the master vibe at first but he doesn’t inspire that OMG feeling that many book Doms do.

This was a book I picked up on a Stuff Your Kindle day. The synopsis sounded interesting so I thought I’d give it a go. I really wish I hadn’t… This reads like a young teenager’s fanfiction gone wrong. It’s descriptive in all the wrong ways like they’re trying to entice the reader in but if anything, it turned me off completely. I wanted to give it a chance so I read the whole thing - seeing as it’s short - but good lord, it just kept getting worse than better. Bit like a knock off Fifty Shades of Grey but the FMC is naive and ridiculous because she lets a stranger shave her intimates within minutes of knowing him. Nuh uh. This one is swiftly being deleted from my Kindle. I’m just glad I didn’t spend money on it!

Overall, Bought By The Billionaire is not a good story at all. Do not recommend.

Wow I was not expecting this series to start out quick so spicy.

How fun was it to be put in that situation, what if you got caught taking a shower where maybe you shouldn't. The hot guy that finds you introduced you to a sensual side maybe you did not know you had. And oh boy was that spicy. Certainly had me going.

Elizabeth I felt like was what a normal everyday girl would be like. I like to think that maybe we all have a more sexier side if we just have the right person to show it us. Enter Richard, who knows exactly what he wants and surprise, gets it.

So I would definitely recommend this read if you are looking for a spicy short read that is well written.

As the story progresses a deal is provided, her fate is decided, and against their agreement things in her mind have not coincided. Bought by the Billionaire Books 1-6 set a steamy pace for Elizabeth and Richard. This romance features a D/s relationship and exposes truths to Elizabeth more than ever. I hope that things will evolve further for them as the series continues.

Unknown submissive Elizabeth meets Alpha male Richard.

This is..WOW!...HOT! Elizabeth is a struggling college student working as a hotel maid. Her job just sucks, but its to get her by till after graduation. She meets Richard under surprising circumstances, ha! He reads her well and he understands very quickly what Elizabeth will and will not do (which she agrees to everything). He helps her and she helps him in return. Perfect contract till she starts developing feelings for Richard. He is in awe that she has fallen in love with him, but he can't quite reciprocate the same feelings back right away. She waits patiently for him though.
Meanwhile, there is a mystery to the story unfolding. Elizabeth is being followed, so she thinks by an ex coworker. She's being cautious, but not exactly sure what if any danger she may be in. She hasn't told Richard yet, but that will unfold in the next book.
This book is steamy sexy and mysterious all in one.

Bought by the Billionaire is a collection of six short stories that are quick and spicy. Simone Leigh does a great job of progressing the story at a quick pace without losing the reader's connection to the characters. It is filled with so many spicy, kinky, and erotic BDSM scenes, but also has a storyline that progresses more and more with each new installment. These are great stories to read if you want a good story, but don't have the commitment for a full length book. It is definitely the best of both worlds.

In the series, we meet Elizabeth, a college student, working as a maid in a high end hotel. One hot day while cleaning, she decides to take a shower in the penthouse suite. Enter a handsome stranger, and the story takes an unexpected turn. A steamy meet cute followed by an arrangement and a contract. Elizabeth's life evolves with a new job, new apartment, and more than she has ever had before. The chemistry between her and her master is intense and will not disappoint for all the readers who enjoy hot spicy scenes.

Each short story develops more of the plot without taking away the erotic scenes. These are described by the author as "coffee break erotica" reads, which is all the time it takes to read each installment. These stories are such easy and quick reads and the author sure does pack a lot into them. Full disclosure - they are addicting and as soon as you finish one, you want to dive right into the next one. A must read for every erotica lover out there!

Potential spoilers...

I got this for free, via Book Bub and had it for ages before I started. I should have left it and read something else instead...

I couldn't finish this. While the writing (save a couple of typos and the use of the wrong name at one point) was good, the plot was too much for me. A college student cleaning rooms in a hotel is hot and so has a shower. The guy using the room comes back in and rather than tell her off, get her fired or at least ask what the hell she thought she was doing, ties her up and has sex. And the girl agrees to let him do it!

Next thing you know, she agrees to be his 'fuck buddy' (sorry about the language but that's what she was) and in return gets a job at one of his businesses, clothes and a flashy apartment. Not only that, she's been in this temp job a minute and uncovers some dodgy book-keeping that has been going on for ages, and yet no one else has managed to pick up, leading to someone being fired. This made way for idea that this person wanted revenge but I didn't get that far.

Honestly, I knew going in that this was about sex and that wasn't the part that annoyed me, just that the plot was just too OTT. One of these elements maybe but not all - the poor girl/rich guy, new employee/solves mystery under everyone else's nose etc... Still, if it's your cup of tea, go ahead and read. I think I will pass on reading the rest of this and the next in the series.

Elizabeth is working in housekeeping and it’s extremely hot, the air conditioning isn’t working good. She works her way up to the penthouse suite and no one is there. She decides to take a quick shower to cool off, and then suddenly she hears someone.
Richard is the owner of the hotel and several other business throughout the city, he has returned home to his penthouse and while he’s starting to undress in the bathroom he notices a woman in his shower.
This is the beginning of a contract between the two. He is her Master and will do whatever he wants to her just as long as she will allow. She will be able to finish college, and will have a paid internship within his company, and she will be rewarded for it. He will take care of her in a way that she can’t refuse.
This book is intense, very captivating. It will keep you on the edge and wanting more. It’s a quick read and I recommend it to read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was able to get this box set for free on Amazon. I am glad it was free, because I would have been angry with the cliffhangers in each book. The box set still ended with another cliffhanger. I would like to finish the stories, but will wait until they are free. These are actually short stories or separate chapters of a book. If the author would have just put all the stories together as a book, I would give it 4 stars. The stories are actually good with a few editing errors such as the heroin's name changed in (I think) book 2 and a few missing/misplaced words. It didn't really take away from the story, but it did distract me. The erotic scenes are good and the story is what you would expect, I just didn't like the cliffhangers. I will read this author again when the mood hits me, but I will not buy the books because of cliffhangers.

Wow! These books had some on 🔥 scenes. Elizabeth, a college girl working as a maid to earn money for school finds herself at the mercy of Richard, a billionaire businessman. Richard catches Elizabeth in his shower one day because she was hit and sweaty while cleaning. There is instant chemistry between the two. They develop a D/S relationship with the details of the contract benefitting both parties. The sex scenes are hot hot hot and depict some pretty standard BDSM scenes (blindfolds, spanking, clips). At the same time, there is also a back story occurring when Elizabeth, an intern now at Richard's company, finds some weird stuff happening and people feel threatened by her. Overall the books are a very easy read and if you like this type of book, you will definitely not be disappointed.

Oh dear, this was a review I almost didn't write. I respect an author's work... it's tough to be a writer. You let out the stories that speak to your heart and hold your breath hoping someone besides yourself will fall in love with it as much as you did.

I had a couple of issues with this. The beginning- a hotel housekeeping employee stops work to take a shower while cleaning a room. The room's occupant shows up and commands housekeeper to ummm....you know.

Jeez, I think the plot was stolen from an adult film.

The mid point and ending were a cross between FSOG and Cinderella. Not saying the book was terrible but there was nothing that made me grab book two.

If you're looking for a pure fantasy/Cinderella story, this is the read for you.

This is the first work by Simone Leigh and each of these short stories ends on a "cliffhanger" which is then picked up in the next book. The writing is nice, if at times a bit rougher than her later books. But the story-line is filled with chemistry, some laughs and a lot of smexy BDSM.

Man is this book SPICY!!!!

Elizabeth finds herself cleaning the penthouse suite on one of the hottest days where the AC is not working. What she thinks is going to be a quick shower to cool off turns into an opportunity she can't refuse.

Enter Richard, who knows what he wants and what he needs to offer in exchange to keep Elizabeth in his reach. The chemistry between these two is insane and I loved that there is a backstory that is happening outside of the spicy moments, one that I hope continues in the next part of their story.

Fun, easy read if you like the billionaire trope and heavy on the spice/bdsm. Certainly one you can read in one sitting that leaves you on the edge of you seat for more

Wow! These books are hot with steamy scenes and melting panties.
I just love the way Simone Leigh writes her stories. They make you wish you are the main character. The chemistry flows of the pages and the hot scenes are so well described.
The story flows fluent and I just had to read through to know what comes next.
I am not a big fan of cliffhangers and that is the only thing I disliked about these books.
Elisabeth is a maid and you follow her and the sexy master she works for. But still I have to recommend it because they are hot readable stories. If you are into a bit of kink and hot scenes this is the book set for you.
