We back with the Heartlands!!! I am enjoying this series with these writers! And now its time for the Prez to get his story.
Conley aka Troy is making sure their club is staying clean and straight but they are still dealing with the retaliation from their rival club. But he gets sidetrack when Calico and her son River pass into town and he's already making plans in his head wanting to get to know this woman and her kid. Things are alittle rocky since Calico is hiding something and she's very weary of Biker clubs. Thanks to her ex who has been a very bad man. She's scared and not very trusting but that doesn't stop Conley from getting those secrets out of his woman. Now they need to work together to make sure her ex doesn't come for them.

Safe, the book is cruising along, both celibate for 14 plus years. She finds out he's in a mc and wants nothing to do with him but.... a strange lady that I never met before tells me how great he is and now I can't live without him. That's ok, keep reading, then she calls him Daddy and I have my fart face on, that means this is not my thing. They bring a 14 year old to a show down? Will continue with the series

Frankie managed to throw both of these into an MC series that I had already been enjoying so it was a total win in my book.

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Troy Conley meets Calico when her car breaks down on the highway and she gets a tow back to the Heartland MC's garage. Conley offers to take them to the Hotel that Cali seen, when she tells him she doesn't know him he tells her she doesn't know a taxi driver either. When they get to the hotel, Calico's son River wants to go to the diner across the road, so Conley takes them. They all eat hamburgers, fries and shakes. After they get back to the hotel Conley leaves them he goes back home and gets his bike to sit outside her room and watch making sure no one bothers them. A little while later Calico comes out, she asks him what he's doing he tells her then he asks her where she's headed and she tells him the pool. Cali tells him he can join her if he wants, he tells her he hasn't been swimming in a while. They begin making out while they are in the pool, he pleasures her, she doesn't want to give herself to him fully just yet. As they talk to each other she finds out he is in the Heartlands MC and she just can't be with another biker. She she tells him it was all a mistake and goes back to her room. Conley still sits outside her room, when the sun starts to rise and the diner across the road opens he heads back home. Conley gets a phone call from Jacket about Calico's car, they have a problem, she has a trunk full of guns. While Calico and River are eating breakfast, she gets a phone call that they want her to come by the shop, she tells him she'll be right over. She can't get a ride to the garage so she calls them back, Conley answers the phone he tells her he'll be right over. While River looks at some puppies with Bulldog Conley calls Calico into his office. He tells her he wants the truth about what she's doing, he asks her if she is spying on him. She tells him the truth about why she took the guns and who River's father is. The MC have their meeting and Calico overhears them, she tells them she know how to get them back. She tells them a plan and Conley agrees, so they set it in motion. Conley takes Calico for a ride on his bike, he shows her the farmhouse he came across, she falls in love with it. When they get back to the bar they make the call to the Outlaws pres. who is also River's father. They set up a met when Calico tells him she made a mistake and she has his guns. The Outlaw MC ride into the hotel and surround Calico, the president, Gunner makes some threats to Calico. When River hears him talking to his mother he pulls a gun on his father, his father in return pulls one on his son. Conley steps in the way and shoots Gunner. All the Heartland MC come out, the Outlaws tell them they don't want any trouble they want the war to end. They tell the Heartland MC they will stay out of their territory, they want their woman and children safe. The Outlaws tell them they'll wear a support patch, they have their word. The Heartland MC isn't sure they can trust them, but they have to for now. After everyone agrees, Calico goes to River, she talks to him about Conley, River tells his mother he wants her to be happy. Calico and River head back to Conley's home, Bulldog comes with the puppy River picked out. Calico tells River she's not sure if he'll be able to keep it she doesn't know where they'll live. Conley tells her they'll be living with him, he wants her forever. Conley asks her to marry him, he wants to adopt River and she tells him yes. Conley tells Calico he also bought the farmhouse for them. Calico tells Conley that she feels like she's finally home. Three months later, they get married at the farmhouse, River walks his mother down the aisle and giver her away. Calico tells Conley she is also pregnant they're expecting. Five years later, their four year old triplets, Traydon, Thor, and Tucker love running around the farmhouse. River is now in college, he wants to be a lawyer and help those less fortunate. Conley and Calico love each other forever.

What a connection.
Calico is on the run with her teenage son River, leaving behind an man that father a child with her and has been a problem ever since. He is part of a biker group and Calico has learnt the hard way that they are not the nicest of people. But her car breaks down leaving her stranded so she calls a recovery truck to get it back to the garage. This is where she meets Conley. He is very helpful and even offers her a lift to the nearest motel which if honest he didnt want her to stay at even spoke to the girl behind the desk to be given the best room.
Conley is feeling stressed His MC is under attack from another biker group who are just after blood. Conley MC has gone legal. Most of the MC have now got old ladies and children and they want a safer life but its getting harder and harder not to retaliate. He is also feeling lonely he wants an old lady to share his life with. His son is now married with a baby on the way so everything is changing. So when he sees the most beautiful woman getting out of the recovery truck he knows she is the one for him. He promise to work on the car first thing in the morning and helps them to the motel. Her son is a good kid.
But he doesn't want to leave her there unprotected so he comes back and he sees her Calico so he follows to find her going for a swim. They hit it off straight of the bat and Conley finds himself joining her. But as soon as she finds out he is pert of a Motorbike group she is out of the water and walking away. What is that woman hiding?? What has happened to them for her to react that way??
This is a brilliant read I was so addicted to this book, I was hooked and couldnt put the book down. I really liked the charaters and I hope to hear more about this amazing MC. It was great to see a positive outlook for a MC

His auto shop is next to the club bar. Calico is giding a secret the closer she gets to Conley the quicker she pulls away and after their little trist in the motel pool when she learned about the MC she vows to stay clear, pooling all bikers into the same category as her ex.
But the things she stole from Grill to start over have been found and questions have to be answered. The Heartlands MC is a series contributed to by multiple authors. Conley is the 8th book in the series by Frankie Love. This is my 1st read of Frankie's also. Conley is a short age-gap insta-love romance with some daddy kink thrown in the mix. Since this was my 1st book from this series I was a bit lost at the beginning since I didn't know what had already happened but it wasn't as bad as some of read like that.
Conley is the president of the MC and his club has been dealing with an enemy that's been attacking them. Calico is a single mom to her son River and they are on the run from his father, her ex. When her car breaks down it's towed to the Heartlands garage and Conley is instantly in love with her. However Calico isn't the woman he thinks she is and can't decide if she's there as a spy for their enemy or really telling the truth about running away with her son. Conley wants to set up her ex Grill to get her and River's freedom. Things don't work out the way they want exactly but you'll have to read to see.
I gave this one a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating because it was a good short read and I usually don't enjoy books this short as much. I felt for River in this book cause man that kid is having to grow up quicker than he should have. And the epilogues just put the biggest smile on my face. This one has me interested in the Heartlands MC and I'm definitely going to read the whole series now as I suggest you should too!

Calico and her son, River, are on the run from her ex when her car breaks down and is towed to the Heartlands' garage. Conley takes one look at Calico and knows she is the one he has been waiting despite their age difference. Calico is attracted to Conley and wants to feel alive in his arms just once but stops herself when she learns that he is President of the Heartlands. When guns are discovered in the trunk of Calico's car, Conley demands answers. How will Conley react when he learns who Calico's ex is? Can Conley and the Heartlands take down their enemy with the help of Calico and River? How far will Conley go to protect Calico and River? Will Calico and River find their happily ever after? I really enjoyed Conley by Frankie Love. The chemistry between Conley and Calico is sizzling hot. Conley is a great story with amazing characters. I would definitely recommend getting Conley by Frankie Love and the other books in the Heartlands Motorcycle Club series.

Calico arrives In town with her son her car is a piece of shit but what we find in the trunk wasn’t what we expected at all. She’s running from something or someone as everything she owns is stuff in the vehicle. She hesitates when I offer to drive her and her son to the hotel and Invite them to dinner my treat. She picks a shi++y hotel to stay the night. What she doesn’t know is that I’m going to keep watch all night long. This a story of a silver fox MC President and a woman 25 yers his junior but that doesn’t stop Conley to want to protect Calico and her son from the danger lurking in the back ground. This is an amazing story that captivates you from the beginning until the end, if your looking for a book that intrigues your mind and you can't put it down, then this is the one for you. I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Calico is on the run with her son from her ex. All she wants is a life away from that MC president. She runs straight into Conley. He is also an MC president. He is working to straighten out his club and keep them going down that path. When her ex starts creating trouble, she decides to work with Conley to take him down. These two find the love they have been missing and become a family. This book has a great storyline and characters. I really enjoyed this story and plan to keep reading more about the Heartland MC

Aren’t all MC clubs the same? No. Cali was running from one club and ends up involved in another club. Cali was verbally abused in a prior relationship and she was finally out and moving with her son. Conley was the president of his MC club and they were not involved in illegal activities. They took care of their own and their town. Conley had an adult son who was married. Conley had been alone for along time and wasn’t expecting any feelings for Cali. Conley had feelings and he needed to deal with them and understand how he could win Cali over. Can they be a family? Can they make it work? What about the age difference? It is a great little read with MC turmoil, lust & love, and heartwarming feelings of family.

Okay but not what I was expecting
Conley by Frankie Love is the eighth book in the Heartlands Motorcycle Club series. This is the story of Conley, the President of the MC and Calico and her teenage son. I have not read all of the previous books in this series but I am just going to say that this is not my favorite of the ones I have read. It is also not my favorite Frankie Love book, which I am bummed about because usually really enjoy what she writes.
The book itself is still well written but it is the story-line and the characters that did not work for me as it was not what I was expecting, based on the series and the author. I realize that not every book an author who I really like writes will I like. So I am just chocking it up to that and moving on to the next book by Frankie Love.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Conley is book eight in the ‘’heartlands motorcycle club’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Troy is the president of the heartlands motorcycle club. He isn’t looking for love but that changes when he meets Calico. Calico has sworn off of bikers after escaping the abusive father of her teenage son. When she meets Troy she soon realises despite being a biker, he is different.
The chemistry between Troy and Calico is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked that Troy got on with River.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Frankie Love penned another installment of the Heartlands MC series with Conley. In it, she chronciles the romantic journey of Calico and Troy. She is a single mom raising a 14-year-old son, River. Her ex-boyfriend was Grill, the former president of the Outlaws MC. She steals Grill’s guns and fleas with the help of her son. Troy is the president of the Heartlands MC. Destiny brings them together when Calico’s car breaks down outside of their town. It is his tow company that comes to her aid. His men contact him when they find the gun stash. It is love at first sight when they meet. Conley takes her in. Eventually he learns who her ex is and is shocked. This brings the Heartlands and the Outlaws into another confrontation. They devise a plan to lure Grill into an ambush with the hopes of ending their feud. Will they be successful? Will they be able to neutralize Grill? Will Conley and Calico find happiness? You must read this book to discover their path.
Ms. Love does a remarkable job with her characters, both primary and secondary. They are likeable and complex. Her lead characters fit the opposites attract theory. Readers will enjoy the chemistry between them. This book is well-written with strong dialog and descriptive language lending authenticity to this romantic plot. Instant attraction , $mutty scenes, and a showdown between two motorcycle clubs made this a fast and entertaining read. Cali’s son is the real gem in the book as he is wiser than his years. Cali really just wants to be loved and cherished and Conley is all about it. I loved his protective nature that has him all in and confessing the L word within a day of meeting Calico. The bonus epilogue is cute and steamy. This was a quick single mom read with heat and it was just what I was looking for.

There are times when you want to read a quick romance novella and instalove is a given. Conley is an older man and President of an MC trying to go legit. He instantly falls for Calico when her car breaks down as she and her son are fleeing from an Ex. This could have been a good story, if it was longer. Instead, the reader is expected to think this alpha male is okay with another club stirring up trouble, threatening his woman and her son and a conversation will clear everything up. I also had an issue with a teenager that has not had a good history with his own father, but will accept Conley so easily. The book was okay, but some depth to the story and characters would have been nice.

Conley was a really quick read for me. It has great character development and it continues to world build in the Heartlands MC world. It made me smile and I really liked Conley. You might want to read this whole series in order to get the jist of it but I do not feel you have to. This series is another collaboration with some pretty phenomenal authors contributing to it. The stories that have been written are just below a 100 pages or just above it so it makes for quickie reads. It packs a lot of story into these pages. I know that there are at least 5 more books left to be released if not more. It is a good series to have on your shelves.

Conley is the president of the Heartlands MC. He is having to deal with fallout over the Outlaws MC. As he is leaving, the tow truck is bringing a car into the garage. The car belongs to Calico and her son River. Conley is instantly smitten. Calico is hiding a secret. Conley is determined to protect Calico but because of her secret, she may be bringing danger to the Heartlands MC. The characters have chemistry. This is a slow, steamy romantic build up. Calico has to learn to trust. It is also a good thing to see what other people think about the president because he has been quiet in the other books.

With how Troy has been throughout the series, you just knew that this man had a story that needed to be told and surprises to be told.
Troy Conley is an OTT Alpha male who is the President of the Heartlands MC. He has a big heart and cares enough about his MC brothers and their families that he has directed the MC to go clean. He is overall a good guy who just wants peace and a good woman by his side even though he is older with a grown son, Killian.

I loved seeing the Prez of the Hearlands MC find his match. Conley walks a hard road, making the difficult decisions required to get his club out of their more shady dealings. This silver fox is tough, in mind and body. But when he meets down on her luck, single mom Calico, the lonely future he envisioned vanishes. The Heartlands MC are still having trouble with the Outlaws MC, so a bit of danger and intrigue add a bit of flavor to the story. Add in a slight kink, some unexpected revelations, and two bruised hearts finding their match, and you have an excellent story!

Conley's older, and his son is grown. Calico is running from someone, and she has secrets. Secrets that could hurt the MC. Secrets that could get her and her son killed. I love this multi-author series, and this book is a terrific addition. Cali has been alone for so long, but she's done a really good job raising her son. She's attracted to Conley, but not afraid to walk away because he's everything she doesn't want/need. The pull is too strong, though - they're in each other's arms before long. I love how they work together with the MC to resolve their mutual problem. I cannot wait for the next book.

I've only read 1 other book in the Heartlands Motorcycle Club series but it wasn't hard to get into the story and understand the dynamic of the club. President of the Heartlands MC, Troy Conley has been alone for long time. His grown son, Killian and the MC are his family and he's is content. Until he meets Calico and her son River. There is instant chemistry and Conley is a man of action and he wants Calico. Calico is running from her ex who she stole from. This story has plenty of steam, action, and a few twists. I enjoyed the book and am curious about the first 7 books. Fortunately they are all on KU and I can read for free. Solid 4 stars

This story is one fun to read. It is insta - everything. It is a MC story but could just as well be a Mountain man story :-) It felt just like it was both, it was fun to read and has quite a fun storyline and excellent characters. There were too many typos and errors for me to be able to give this one five stars as i would have done otherwise. But overall it is a fun insta-everything story and I enjoyed reading it. So fine four stars for this story.
