Un cofrade muerto, el arma asesina desaparecida y cinco sospechosos... Toledo y su catedral sirven de telón de fondo para una serie de sucesos nada divinos que llevarán a Homero, Violeta y Luisfer a enfrentarse con toda una cofradía, cuyos miembros tienen, todos ellos, motivos suficientes pra el asesinato. Tendrán que emplearse a fondo para resolver este misterio en el seno de esta singular congregación.

Dieses Buch kursiert in meinem Spanischkurs - ist laut Klappentext allerdings für Niveau A2 und wir sind am Ende von B1 im Kurs. Entsprechend empfand ich die Lektüre viel zu schulisch leicht, mit diesen einfachen Erklärsätzen und ständigen Unterbrechungen der Vokabeln, teilweise auch als ganze Bildseite mit Erklärungen.

Die Geschichte selbst leidet auch etwas darunter, dass sie zu leicht konstruiert wurde. Der Kriminalfall ist lächerlich, da habe ich schon bessere gelesen, auch in diesen Sprachlehrromanen, die bewusst kurz und einfach gehalten wurden.

Ich werde es jetzt dem nächsten Kursteilnehmer geben, aber mir in Zukunft mehr zutrauen bei spanischer Lektüre.

For early beginners who want to exercise their Spanish, it is a helpful book to boost their understanding of the language.

I don't really know what to say. My Spanish proficiency is poor and I mostly read this book to improve. I guess it helped in that regard as it seemed doable but quite challenging. For others this would of cause depend on the reader and how much she/he knows.

The plot was decent enough. Nothing special, but what can you expect when you can't even write a review in the language you read the book in; Entertaining enough to keep going at least.
