The Hell Gate #1

Imps & Angels

Rate this book
If you were given the chance to free your soul, even at the cost of your life, would you take it?

All her life Alyth has been sold from one demon to another, bound through blood and contracts against her will.

When five men enter her life - one with the promise of freedom, and the other four willing to help take down her current master - she must decide who she's willing to trust and how far she’s willing to go.

But the stakes get higher when a lord of Hell comes to claim her for himself. Now it's not just a matter of trusting them, but one of life and death.

Will she be left at the mercy of her master? Or will she be left to the demon that wants to own her, mind, body, and soul?

Warning: This is a full-length slow burn reverse harem fantasy/paranormal romance. It features one strong woman, and the five men determined to help her save her soul. It contains violence, torture, strong language, magic, angels, vampires, shifters, and a villain set on making sure she doesn’t find happiness. This is the first book in The Hell Gate series and it should be read in order.

A fantasy worth immersing yourself in

This is a urban fantasy, slow burn, reverse harem. Indra is a new to me author and I have to say, I really enjoyed this.
.
Definitely some new takes on this world that I enjoyed immensely. The author really knows how to develop and write an exciting plot full of thrills, secrets, a badass heroine and sexy live interests. Unique characters that complimented each other and made the story come alive. Amazing world building with vivid imagery and an ending that will leave you with mixed emotions.
.
I love me some paranormal romance so this book was a treat to read. I felt like I’d read it all until this book came into my life and I’m living for it. I enjoyed the pace of this book. It’s set out nicely with a steady build up and clear indications of time stamps. I also enjoyed experiencing the chemistry between our leading female and her harem. From the sweet and funny Walker to the brutally innocent honesty of Jesse and your typical strong leader Reed, there’s no shortage of sizzle, swoon, and everything in between.
.
I’m curious to see how Indra follows up with book 2 and the direction she’s going because this was a very strong start to the series!
.
If you are in the mood for a badass female lead, sexy harem, danger, secrets, shifters, angels, deals and demons then you need this book! This is book 1 in this series!

Imps & Angels is a fast-paced, page-turning novel that follows a strong and selfless protagonist willing to do whatever it takes to use her powers for good and protect her loved ones. Alyth is a fierce yet empathetic character who deserves so much more than the life she has been given. Indra Frost did an excellent job of displaying several potential love interests, while maintaining unique personalities and individuality for each character. This novel laid the groundwork for an interesting world and deeply investing relationships. My only complaint was that it ended too quickly! I am so looking forward to seeing how Alyth's story continues.

I loved Alyth she is a kick butt half demon half angel she is under contract by Greg a lowly demon he owns a gym and he uses Alyth as a punching bag against others in the supe gym. An angel, wizard, vampire, panther with wings and a hell hound all wanted Alyth’s help to bring down Greg but Alyth has a proposition of her own and that is if she agrees to help then Alyth wanted to make sure that her soul was free from Greg and the contract. Wow what an amazing story I loved it and I definitely recommend this book.

I was hooked from the start! Alyth didn't have an easy life as an half demon/ half angel, not wanted by her own parents she was sold by her demon father to be a slave to a minor demon. Bound by a blood contract that prevents her to harm her master and wanted by a high sadistic demon from her past, how will Alith be able to get her freedom? You need to read this series you won't regret it. This story is so well written i didn't want it to end. Can't wait to put my hands on the next book of this series.

Slow burn at its best

First, absolutely love Alyth. This girl, I just want to hurt her and love her because she so deserves it. I love how naturally the story is flowing and that there's no insta-love(lust). I'm really looking forward to more books in this series because I want to see the romance develop and see Alyth get all the love she more than deserves. I hope book 2 comes out soon! <3

The perfect first book in a series!
“Imps & Angels” is a fast-paced, captivating and engaging storyline that bursts with drama, action, and enticingly chills delighting the reader. The main character, Alyth is fun and authentic with depth and traits that blend and flow. I could not put his tale down. I loved this tale and highly recommend it!

Dnf 42%. The book is all telling and no showing. I was shocked when I searched and found "that meant" appeared only 20 times in the book because it felt like I was reading it or a variation of it every few pages. It's a shame because the story and the winged panther seemed as if they had potential. A lot of the book just felt forced.

Alyth is a half-breed demon and was living with her mother but her mother didn’t really want her. When her father found out he killed Alyth mother and took her to Hell to live .Because Alyth is a haft breed she is seen as an abomination by the demons so she didn’t have it easy but also her father would use her as a bunch bag and once he had enough of her he sold her to Greg who now owns not just her but her sole.

Alyth has been abused , tortured and hated all her life and because off the contact that Greg has there is nothing she can do because she has to obey him. He owns a fighting club but that is a cover for his underground fighting that he holds ever week and the winner of the fights gets to go into the ring with Alyth and she is not aloud to win so is just used as a punching bag.

Then she meets or runs into wizard , vampire and and angel , hell hound and a shifter they want her help to bring down Greg but Alyth doesn’t trust anyone and if she offers to help at what cost would it be to Alyth

My heart really felt for Alyth she has been through so much abuse and doesn’t trust any one even though she has been to hell and back she still cares but doesn’t let anyone in. When she meets the guys she doesn’t want to let them in but little by little she lets her walls down that she has build to stop caring.

I enjoyed reading the book and want to see were the next books goes after the ending off this book. What will happen to Alyth and the guys

This is a fantastic book! 5 hot men and one determined woman, Alyth is the perfect character for this book, downtrodden but determined. Great character building and a storyline that sucks you in from the first sentence. Well worth a read. Looking forward to the next book.
