The youngest of the brothers gets his turn to shine here and...well, honestly, he's a little bit of a hot mess in the beginning. Between the burden that's been placed on him and his brothers to save two realms and mourning for his sister, Calistos is kinda a mess. Scattered memory loss, a dogged determination to not let anyone close, and a serious need to hit an adrenaline high so he feels alive occasionally leads to Calistos seeming like the party boy of the family.

As it turns out, he's not. Well, maybe that's not exactly true. He might like the no-strings-attached things he has going on, but it's more to hide how utterly wrecked he still is over his sister's death. And once he crosses paths with Marinda...well, let's just say she digs in deep and he can't keep his mind off her.

Which isn't to say he gives in easily. It takes time for Calistos to realize Mari is more than just a little under his skin and the more they learn about her (and her origins), the more he wants to find a way to keep her close and protect her. (As an aside, once things are revealed about what Mari is, she kinda doesn't need ANYONE to protect her because she can absolutely protect herself.)

Secrets, lies, truth that hurts, sexy times, a little bit of blood and danger, and a lady who will be a formidable ally in the brothers' fight. Good stuff all around and HA Daimon is going to have a lot to deal with when his book swings around.

4.5 stars--CALISTOS is the fifth instalment in Felicity Heaton’s contemporary, adult GUARDIANS OF HADES paranormal/fantasy romance series very loosely based in Greek mythology, focusing on seven brothers- the sons of Hades and Persephone -sent to Earth to guard the gates to the Underworld. This is Prince of the Underworld and Lord of Air Calistos, and cellist/ hospital receptionist Marinda’s story line. CALISTOS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order as the brothers struggle against an unknown enemy to keep the human world and the Underworld from colliding.

NOTE: The Guardians of Hades series is Felicity Heaton’s interpretation of, and does not follow, the actual Greek mythological family tree or events.

Told from several third person perspectives including Calistos and Marinda CALISTOS follows Marinda in the aftermath of a strange series of events beginning with a supernatural encounter, in the hospital where she worked, with a man whose mortal wounds were anything but. Finding herself in the Underworld as a prisoner of the injured man, Marinda struggles to make sense of her world but a world that is about to come crashing down. From the murder of her father to an attack by daemons, Marinda becomes the target of an unknown enemy, an enemy that is also hunting our story line hero. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Marinda and Calistos; the revelation about Marinda’s true self and her heritage; and a fight to the death wherein one of the brothers will go missing in an effort to find the soul of someone they love.

Marinda has always believed herself to be human but knew there was the possibility of the existence of the supernatural. When her father revealed that he could ‘see the future’ Marinda had no idea that her future would involve a god of the Underworld, and attacks by daemons, Hellspawn, monsters and a necromancer. Calistos has changed since the death of his twin, a death for which he blames himself. Hoping to locate his sister’s soul, Calistos plays fast and loose with his mortality, placing himself in the direct line of fire, time and again.

The relationship between Marinda and Calistos is one of immediate attraction but Calistos believes he does not deserve love or his own happily ever after since the death of his beloved twin. Trying to keep his distance Calistos continuously finds himself drawn to our heroine, and feeling over protective of the woman with whom he will fall in love. The release and revelations of Marinda’s powers finds our heroine working together with the brothers in an effort to protect the world. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.

All of the previous story line couples and characters play secondary and supporting role including Ares and his mate Megan (ARES #1), Valen and his mate Eva (VALEN #2), Esher and Aiko (ESHER #3), Marek and Cat (MAREK #4) Daimon, and their eldest brother Keras; their mother Persephone, and their father Hades, as well as a number of daemons, shape-shifters, a necromancer and wraiths. We are introduced to Marinda’s guardian Cassandra (Cass) whose story line is next in DAIMON.

Like MAREK, CALISTOS is an action packed story where the reader is privileged to the internal dialogue, thoughts and introspective of the leading characters, as well as an early look at Daimon’s struggles with his powers and his attraction to Marinda’s guardian Cass. The character driven premise is intriguing, enthralling and imaginative; the romance is impassioned; the characters are edgy and charismatic. CALISTOS is my favorite GUARDIANS OF HADES thus far….the story ends on a slight cliff hanger-you have been warned.

One click for Calistos

Wow!! Heaton has written a beautiful story filled with angst, suspense, love, humor and ahhh moments. I have to say I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end of this story. So much happens in Calistos but I will not spoiler the story for others.
We are introduced to some amazing new characters like Mardina, Cass , Thanatos plus we get to see Hades, beautiful Persephone and the Guardians along with their leading ladies.
I feel this is one of the best stories Heaton has written to date, absolutely loved this story even though the ending made me cry. I personally will be waiting for Daimon's story because I have a feeling it will be epic. Happy Reading!!

It's taken up to book 5, but we are finally getting the story of the youngest Guardian, Calistos and I wasn't disappointed. He is the one brother I've wanted to know more about since we first caught a glimpse of him in the previous books. Calistos doesn't want anyone to get close to him, the loss of his twin has messed with his mind. Like his brothers, he controls an element, and his is wind and it's definitely fun to watch him in action with his power.

Marinda works on the reception in the A&E, well that is till a mysterious, stunning and somewhat injured man enters the A&E and she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him. When Calistos wakes up on a gurney surrounded by humans he loses it and knows more than anything he needs to escape. He grabs the only human he hasn't thrown across the room and takes her with him. And well that's where everything changes for Marinda.

It seems her whole life is not what she thought it was and she finds out so much about herself throughout the story. We also find out more about what happened with Calistos and his twin. The story is a rollercoaster ride from start to finish and definitely sets up for Daimon and maybe even a little for Keras too. It was a great read and one I couldn't put down. Seriously can't wait to read about the final two brothers in this series.

How do I tell you about Calistos without giving away any of the previous books. You really do need to read this series in order. There is a lot going down!
A few twists and an honest to oh my god moment!!

Calistos is the youngest of the brothers, he was also a twin (sadly she died)
The wind is his element, and he wields it with accuracy and with deadly intent. Always the reckless one, the one to dice with death, a quick jab and sarcastic comeback.
But beneath that, is a young man, brother and son that aches with loss. His twin was taken from him, and his family, and he’s battled with that heartache for centuries. His burden to bear till the end of time, it was his fault his twin sister died that day. No matter how his family tell him otherwise.
He also suffers terrible headaches and blackouts, this is the product of his sister’s death. If he tries to remember how she died, then he’s punished with a migraine and if pushed then a blackout. His family treat him with kid gloves, the baby of the family, the broken one. But Cal thinks they still hold him responsible for the death of his sister (angry that he didn’t protect her) no matter how many times they tell him that, he won’t believe it.
A thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie, fast cars and even faster women.

Miranda is attending at musical college in Paris, her love of music is all she needs at the moment, well that and her father. After her mother died, it was just the two of them, working all the hours he could and saved all the spare cash to buy Miranda a Cello. Being away from her father is hard, but her flat mates are fun, life at the moment is pretty good.

When they first meet its in the ER, she’s drawn to the bloody mess which is Cal, the team try to save him as he looks close to death. But within seconds his wounds begin to close and all hell breaks loose, she’s taken hostage as the drunk junkie tries to leave the hospital.
Next think Miranda sees is strange people trying to force something down her throat!!!
Darkness and Miranda wonders how she got here, she doesn’t remember anything of the last few hours!!

Then fates bring them together, her father is murdered, her friend/guardian tells her to get to London.
Being ambushed by daemons, then meeting up again with Cal in the middle of blood and carnage.
There is the usual distrust, the brothers think it’s a convenience that Miranda and Cal meet twice in less than a week. They are even more concerned when Miranda tells them her father saw her future, and it’s with the brothers! As a friend? Or enemy?

The more time Cal spends with Miranda the more he notices he’s calmer around her, and when he tries to remember his sister, it’s not as hard as it usually is, what does that mean?

This book promised a wild ride, and the author delivered it in spades.
It will have you putting it down, walking away, and hurrying back to read more.
There are a few twists, and a few times I had to take a deep breath and tell myself things would work out.
They’d better work out!!!!
The author catches you from the first page, and doesn’t let go till the last word.
Descriptions are so vivid, characters jump out from the pages.
You want to cheer the good guys, slap the bad guys, and want the next book immediately.

So can he convince Miranda to give them a chance? Can he show his brothers he’s not the idiot they all think he is.
And will they get the upper hand in this war for both the underworld and this one?

I received this book for an honest review. All thoughts are my own 🦋

Calistos is the fifth book in the Guardians of Hades series. I loved it!

Calistos is one of six son's of Hades. He is an intriguing character, and I liked him a lot. Calistos hides behind a devil-may-care attitude and acts as if he has no worries. However, he misses his twin sister, who died long ago. Every time he tries to remember what happened that day, he suffers from blackouts. After a fight that leaves him severely wounded, Calistos wakes up in the ER, where, in an attempt to escape, he kidnaps a mortal woman.

Marinda is a cellist, who works in the ER as a receptionist when not playing in an orchestra. I loved Marinda. She is a fantastic female protagonist who is level-headed and loyal. After seeing Calistos in the ER, Marinda feels a connection to the injured man. When he kidnaps her, Marinda finds her life will never be the same again.

I have been looking forward to reading this book for several months, ever since I finished Marek.

I love reading the Guardians of Hades series; I love the world the author has created - a mixture of real and imagined, with a dash of action, adventure and romance. The brothers are loveable, with flaws and insecurities, which make them more realistic and relatable, and their women are strong and feisty.

In this story, the brothers are still trying to avoid the Morai prediction of both the human and Underworld colliding to create the Otherworld. It was a pleasure meeting the other brothers and their new loves once more. Hades and Persephone also make an appearance; they are typical parents - overprotective and loving. We also get to meet Marinda's godmother, Cassandra, who has a most unusual effect on Daimon. Marinda herself has a secret she didn't know she had, and Calistos learns what happened to his sister. There are also fast-paced fight scenes, which are this author's forte. She brings them to life with such vividness that I feel like I am there, so I always enjoy those and am now looking forward to reading Daimon and Cassandra's story soon.

Felicity Heaton has written another fast-paced, sexy paranormal romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love her fast-paced writing style, which flows effortlessly from scene to scene. She is on top of my favourite author's list.

Each book of this series could be read as a stand-alone, as this one does not end in a cliffhanger, though I would recommend reading them in order. I do not recommend this book to younger readers due to the extremely HOT and explicit sexual scenes. However, I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love sexy paranormal romances full of gods and daemons. - Lynn Worton

Calistos is the fifth book in the Guardians of Hades series by Felicity Heaton. It can be read as a standalone but you will enjoy this book much more if you have read the others first. That way you will appreciate seeing the other characters from the previous books and catch up on how they are doing.

Calistos and his brothers are all gods of the underworld. Hades has banished them from there and given each of them the job of operating and keeping safe gates/portals allowing access to the place. Rebelling daemons want to damage the gates to keep them from closing which will allow chaos to prevail by creating an Otherworld where humans will become the hunted.

In previous stories, the focus has been on the other brothers and how they have found their mate whilst doing their duties for Hades. This time it is Calistos' whose story we focus on.

I don't want to give you any details because it is much more exciting for you to read them for yourself. What I will say is that I really found myself engrossed. From the gorgeous cover of the book to the very end I couldn't read quickly enough to find out what would happen. Would the gates remain intact, would any of the brothers or their partners be killed. What of Marinda, Calistos' love interest, will she cope with all that occurs once fate brings him and her together?

What I really enjoy about these books is that as well as the gruesome fight scenes, the passionate moments, and all the drama, there are some fabulously light and funny scenes which keep the books from being too deep. A must I think when there is so much death and destruction happening.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait for Daimon's story which is next.

This is one of my favourite books of the series. The plot thickens and you get to know Calistos much better as a character as he has so far kind been the quiet brother.

Calistos and Mari meet by chance after a daemon attack on Calistos and he is taken into a human hospital. She is a receptionist who is immediately drawn toward him even though he is aggressive when coming around from Drugs he had been given (big no no for the gods). When she is unexpectedly taken to the underworld by Cal and she doesn't understand what has happened. Due to the belief she is human by everyone she has to have her memories erased of all knowledge of the underworld, but the process does not work as it should and it becomes clear that Mari is not human after all.

Mari is very confused with her memories slowly coming together about a talk dark and handsome stranger and has a bad feeling about not spending the rest of summer break with her dad. She decides to visit him and unfortunately discovers him dying and reveals she isn't human and needs to go to London. His death acts as a catalyst for her emergence into her powers and she is a very powerful Fury. When she goes to leave London Cal find her surrounded by dead daemons and helps her find exactly what she is.

The overall build to the final battle continues and more players are revealed and the plot thickens. More characters have come into the fray, Cassandra being a powerful witch with an attitude and point to prove i think is going to keep Daimon on his toes, but i will discover that in the next instalment.

Overall a really good read. Both story and character building continues and I have really enjoyed every book so far.

Cool beginning! Loved the action! Entertaining premise with lots of unique elements that make the story a page turner and a fun read. Each book in this series is about a different son of Hades; this book is about the youngest, Calistos and Marinda. Each book has its own story; different couple for each book, but for the overarching story to the series, you may want to start from the beginning. In this one, Calistos is still distraught after the loss of his sister; he hides how he’s really feeling behind humor and non-commitment, he’s acts like nothing affects him, but he’s kidding himself. Plus, there’s issues with his memory that cause him grief. Marinda works as a receptionist at a hospital, when Cal is brought in, but things just go from bad to worse really quickly. She’s pulled into Cal’s world dealing with demons and the Underworld, but there’s a lot of surprises about her own life that add some major shock to her system. There’s also a connection she feels towards Cal, and he for her. Sweet and passionate connection between them. Love Marinda’s honesty and strength. Good to see Cal is more than just the party boy he shows others; love when his protective nature comes out. Really loving this series so far!! Totally entertaining and fun!

I love this series. It has characters from Greek mythology, mystery, and romance.
This is the fifth book in the Guardians of Hades series. About a group of brothers that are sent to Earth to guard the Gates to the Hell Realm. This book is about Calistos, the brother everyone seems to think cannot handle all the pressure they have to deal with because of a hellish trauma from his past. Everyone thinks that he is the weakest link in the brothers. They are so wrong! He meets Marinda while not in the best of shape. He meets here for the first time in the ER. Marinda is thrust in the middle of Calistos’s life amazingly fast, with her first intro into this world with a meeting with Calistos’s parents. What a way to start this relationship. Along the way Marinda and Calistos find out more about themselves, some good things and some not so great, but they work together. They each have a past that has shaped them into what there are and what they think that know, but during this adventure they discover the truth about themselves and their respective pasts and the relationship evolves into a great love.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and all the books in this series to friends and family and have already.

When a mysterious man is brought into the ER Marinda's life is changed forever . She is taken hostage by the man and her world is turned upside down . Calistos is a man tormented by the loss of his twin sister. His heart is smitten with the young woman that he kidnaps . She brings out the softer side of him and together they find that there is more to Marinda then meets the eyes . Will they be able to keep the gates to hell closed and will Calistos come to realize that he can love again and keep Marinda safe .

I can say that Calistos is my favourite character out of all of them . He is a man that is tormented and yet he seems to be one of the more fun. The guys think he is the weakest link in their armour but as usual he proves them wrong . Marinda is a sweet hospital receptionist but there is a silent strength about here Together they are an amazing couple and give each other what they need .

This is the fifth book in the series and I will say that Calistos is my favourite character . The author takes us on an adventure. The characters are well written and complex . The story is a fun filled ride . I truly liked this story but it just seemed a little slow in a few spots . Over all this is a great addition to the brotherhood . Check it out .

Cal, yep his book - his the brother who you could call destructive, reckless and dangerous of course, but in this book he gets to meet his other half <3

Marinda is the woman who Cal meets in a dangerous circumstance and pulls her into the underworld accidentally. This is just the start of an action-packed PNR romance.

There is an understory running through the series, and the more of the books you've read the more emerged in the guardian's world you'll be. The brothers are a great bunch especially when they get together and wind one another up. I have to say I loved it when they all turned up in Paris in this book, really amused me. They are also always there for another when needed, especially fighting baddies. It turns out Marinda is good at fighting too.

Cal and Marinda's book kept me engaged, entertained, and made me smile and that's a winner to me.

I'm looking forward to the next book, I have a feeling it's going to be very fiery!

Calistos perhaps the most tormented of the brothers, in the Sons of Hades.

Calistos has memory issues after the capture and torture of himself and his twin sister, he also suffers greatly from survivors guilt.

Calistos and his brothers guard the gates to the Underworld, they are being targeted by an unknown foe whom takes every opportunity to try and defeat the brothers at the various gates to the Underworld.

Calistos cannot remember what happened to him and his twin, when he tries he suffers from crippling headaches and passes out, whilst forgetting what led up to the episode.

Calistos meets his mate, accidentally kidnaps her and takes her to the Underworld.

The gradual blossoming of their love helps Calistos to become a whole person again.

But why waste time reading this when you could be reading the book,?

Felicity Heaton has always been a fav and a go-to author of mine. She's added Calistos to the Guardians of Hades series. Love the series the brothers are whew!

The latest Guardian brother wears his guilt like armor, his twin lost and plagues himself with what-ifs and it should have been me. His brothers want details, details he can't remember, and when he tries to recall he is wrought with debilitating headaches.

Marinda a simple hospital receptionist will have her world rocked in ways almost too much to believe in until she is faced with real-life events.

Secrets and danger lurks will the spark that ignited between Cal and Marinda have a chance to go full flame, or will others working to end their existence be unbeatable.

Full of detail and personality, a bit slow in some parts but I love me some Guardians, and Calistos is a great addition to the series.

I’m absolutely loving this series!!!

I have to admit, Calistos surprised me quite a bit... until now it appeared that he was the laid back, fun loving playboy of the brothers but in his book we discover quite a different side to him and it made me like him more!! We knew he was there when his twin died, what we didn’t know was what happened in the aftermath and the full extent that experience has had on him over the centuries!!! For me, Cal without doubt grew up in this 5th book in the Guardians of Hades series!!

Marinda, poor girl, had her world turned upside down and so many secrets were revealed in such a short time that her head must have been about to explode most of the time!!
She discovers she’s more than she thought, but for a bit, we’re not sure exactly what that is.... her abilities and power were quite the surprise!!

I thought she was perfect for Calistos. She calmed and centred him and gave him focus at those times were he could have jumped too quickly and welcomed the darkness inside him. He in return was so patient, understanding and protective of Mari, even when she herself didn’t know what to do or think of all the events surrounding her. Her brought her some semblance of safety and grounded her when things were becoming too much.

I’m loving that the brothers are being further strengthened by the presence of their significant others and by the ladies own unique qualities! They’re gonna need every bit of power, wisdom and bravery that these woman bring to the group as we head into the final battles to save the gates and the fates of the two Worlds!!

The story arc continues at a pace, more is revealed about the other side who are hell bent (quite literally!!) on merging the two worlds and running amok in the hellish new reality it would bring.
There was action and battles aplenty - as we would expect when it comes to Felicity Heaton’s books - and we were introduced to a new character (who is gonna cause Daimon a whole world of hassle I’m sure!!)

I’m itching for Keras’s book as there’s now been so many little teasers about him and his lost love... but gods, I’m excited to see how Daimon is gonna fare with his own lady love...... fun times ahead, I’m sure!!!!

A definite 5* read.
** If you haven’t started this series already, grab book one and dive head first into this thrilling world from Ms Heaton!!!

Calistos #5 11/29/2021

Cal is the younger brother and his brothers think he’s careless but he is alway looking for things to make him feel alive. After the death of his twin sister he has blocked it from his memory. And there are times he just wants to give up. Like the night he meets Marinda she works in the hospital all of a sudden this guy is been brought into the ER and he’s in bad shape but something is pulling her to him. After he makes a mess of the ER and kidnaps her and takes her to the underworld his father Hades makes her drink some water to wipe her memory but it doesn’t quite work. And then they meet again after she kills four deamons. That’s when him and his brothers need to find out what she is. And when they do they find out who is after her. And a battle ensued. So enjoy this good read and find out what they found out!!

5th Hades..

This book centers around the female lead, Marinda, the male lead, Calisto, and what he is urged to do when he finds his mate.

Calistos helps to guard the gates to the Underworld against a mystery nemesis, while struggling from memory issues of a tragic event.

Can his mate help heal him? Well you'll just have to read the book to find out..

Overall, This book was well written, filled with adventure, danger, loss, grief, guilt, hope, and of course, a bit of Romance.

This author is one of my favorites. She is my go to author when I'm between series or when I've just had enough of reading books that I just don't care for that much.

I can't wait for the next book in the series to be released.

As the youngest of seven, who has also lost his twin, Calistos feels he has so much to prove and atone for, but then he meets Mari and things begin to shift. Calistos goes from reckless without reason, to reckless protector pulling out all the stops for her. Mari doesn't know what she is and as she becomes part of Calistos world her own inner strength shines. These two were emotionally broken but healing comes in many ways. I loved Calistos and Mari she was just what he needed to grow. Of course, there was lots of interaction with Calistos' brothers and Mari's guardian comes along to shake up Calistos' brother Damien. With so much family, action, and a huge battle, this book just kept giving. I'm loving this series and look forward to what happens next.

Fifth book of an amazing series. They do all connect but each story focuses on a different guardian. Calistos is one of the youngest. He seeks revenge for his twin sister’s death and to find her soul. You would think that he would be dark and brooding but he hides it and plays the part of the player/womanizer. But those types are always the best to watch as they fall for that one woman meant for them. And then there is Marinda. A young woman who is a talented cellist. Do to fated or bad luck, she seems to be dragged into a world she always thought were just stories. Plenty of action and fighting as the guardians try to keep our realm protected. Love and romance may find there way into their hearts but it won’t be easy.

I can't get enough of this series. Calistos, the youngest of the brothers, is the main hero of this story. He is seen as a party boy when, in reality, he just uses his partying ways to hide the fact that he is broken inside. He's broken because of his sister's death and due to the weight of having the fate of two realms placed on his shoulders. Eventually, he meets Marinda (Mari). He tries to keep her at a distance but she is a mighty determined woman. In this story there are hidden secrets, lies, truths to uncover, danger, and naughtiness. Felicity Heaton has once again written an epic story with a phenomenal ending. Well done to her. I can't wait until the next story.

Book 5 and still thriving

This is about free spirited, adrenaline-fueled, amnesiac Calistos. His story continues the brothers quest to find their sister's soul. Along the way it seems each brother finds their mate and determining what creature their mate becomes is half the fun. We are introduced to Mari and we read her situation and how Calistos and her meet. Loads of action, romance and fighting. We meet a couple new characters that segue into Daimon's book. I love how there is a spin and plot twists. Although we are left wondering about Esher, the new interest lies with Daimon. To be continued in the next book.

What a great story! The youngest brother, the twin that is left without his sister has many problems. One big one is finding his sister's soul..She was murdered by a wrath Eli and they don't know where her soul is. He's found a woman, one that isn't human but looks and thinks she is. Mari is a other, her mother died giving her birth and the man who raised her isn't her biological father. Things take a turn for the worse when Demon's come to try and take Mari...what do they want her for? Great storyline and all the brothers are there again!

Oh Calistos! You are a hot mess. Burdened in more ways than one. Two realms to keep safe. The loss of your twin sister. Memories you can't trust. Not wanting to get close to or be close to another. And then you meet Marinda. Your true self comes out but it's her digging that really sorts out who you are. While you may be a player, she realizes you are a man who is struggling with his past and wants to prove himself to his family. You may believe that you are guilty, but that burden is not on you - it was beyond your control.

The next installment of the Guardians of Hades.

Calistos is the sensitive but often reckless baby brother of the group who is often not given a chance to shine by his brothers.

He is not able to come to terms to losing his sister and vows to find her soul.

Miranda is a musician who loses the only family she had known to then discover her life was not what she thought it was. This is another well written, fast paced story by Ms Heaton that will keep you gripped.

I can't wait for the next one!

Yet another fantastic book in this series. This is Calistos and Marinda’s story and, again, it is a fabulous read. Each book in this series is amazing and as each story concludes, we are hopefully getting closer to finding out what has happened to the soul of Calistos’s twin sister. I have a feeling that this won’t turn out the way we expect but maybe that’s just my overactive imagination lol. I particularly enjoyed the ending in this book, because, Esher!! You will know what l mean when you read it 😉 The other books can’t come quick enough, but then again, I don’t want the series to end!

I laughed and cried.

If I could have given it a higher rating I would have.
I love every book in this series, but this one really moved me.
I don't want to give too much away. I will say Calistos and Mari will grab hold of you and not let go.
I'm so excited for Daimon and Keras to have their story told. I'm sure I'm not the only reader to hope when Calindria's soul is found that there is a way to bring her back and have her story told. I would reommend this entire series to anyone. I just can't get enough of it.

What a ride

I knew Cal would be good but blimey, he was amazing.
Fun loving, always reckless. It’s Carl’s turn to meet the woman that will change his life.
Cal hasn’t had it easy. His twin has been murdered and her soul not put to rest. He struggles with his darkness and blackouts whenever he tries to remember.
Marinda. Working at the local hospital when a young lad is brought in. She is strangely drawn to him. Secrets have been kept from Marinda to keep her safe. Secrets that will come to light.
The chemistry is amazing. The ride is wild. Loved loved loved it

I love this story! It's the best one yet! Every book gets better and better!
Cal and Mari are amazing characters, that have suffered great loss, and find one another in their grief.
The storyline and plot are well written with a lot of action, magic, crazy and so much more.
The characters are gorgeous and sexy with outstanding personalities. Except for the villains, they can bugger off!
A incredible story from start to finish! I can't wait to read the next book!

The book started off great.
I liked the characters and the story was progressing very well, the element of suspense was written well too.
But all this was in the first half of the book.
The second half became a bit boring and it started to drag and lost the momentum it previously had.
That's when I stated skimming pages and wanting the story to end.
In the end it was just an okay read.

However, I did like what I read about Cass and Daimon and I am looking forward to their story.
