I was given this short story in exchange for a honest opinion. This is the first thing I've read by the author.
I started out thinking I had read this book before only for it to take a turn in a direction I hadn't expected. I know that I would have remembered this if I had read it before. At first the main character is a bit of a brat and it it difficult to feel sympathy for her and her attitude. While this is a short story the character is likable and interesting by the end. The pacing of the book is pretty quick as there is a lot to accomplish in very few pages, but it has a great flow that makes for an easy read. I'm intrigued by the characters, the story, and the world that it all takes place in and will most likely be visiting this world again.
