When a painting is stolen from a Belfast art gallery on the same day a body is found at a local bank the timing seems coincidental.
But when the Murder Squad is summoned, the discovery of a second body and the strangeness of both deaths lead its detectives to uncover past events that make the painting's connection clear.
A dreadful symbolism and secrets too long buried link events in Ireland to those far away, and take Craig and his team to a darker place than they have ever been.
