The problem with dating six guys? Six sets of in-laws…
Youngbin, Xiao, Jiwon, JongB, MinMin and CX. Six idols who I'm completely in love with and ready to spend the rest of my life with. Six idols feel the same way about me.
And now there's another member of Onyx about to join us...
Until now, we've done everything we could to keep our relationship hidden from the media and Onyx's fans, and somehow, we succeeded. Onyx has had a successful world tour and we can finally relax for a few weeks before they start preparations for their next comeback.
And Onyx's reward?
A resort vacation… with all their parents invited. The time of keeping secrets is coming to an end.
Love. Family. Career.
Onyx want all three, and I know they deserve it. But things are never straightforward, especially when family is involved. We've survived everything up until now.
Ji Soo Lee is the Korean name of this Texan Korean-American author. She spends most of her days lost in a K-Pop haze, which inspired her to start writing stories about her idols at Atlantis Entertainment.
Under the name Ji Soo Lee, you will find YA contemporary romances, with romance levels like a K-Drama.
Under J. S. Lee, Ji Soo writes steamier stories, mainly of Reverse Harems.
i definitely think this was my favourite of the series so far !! i just loved everything about it and had such a fun time, i honestly would be happy with the series finishing here but i am curious to find out what happens with Sejin :0
Received BETA Copy of Onyx: Forever & I will be giving an Honest Review. I will give ZERO Spoilers. I own this entire series and couldn’t be happier with the ending of this book! This is by far my most favorite and most anticipated RH Book!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I will always remember and cherish this read!
I Give this Book 5/5 Star Rating!!
HEA(?): Yes! Heat: 5/5 Romance: 5/5 Drama: 4-4.5/5 Suspense: 5/5, I never go in with predictions, I also never know what’s gonna happen around the corner, so to me this book was satisfyingly suspenseful. Relationship Type: RH M/M(?): Yes! 😁 Completely Recommend this Book, But seriously read it in order! Lol I am highly anticipating what ever new series comes next!
YES! +More "reverse harem" goodness! +My least favorite Romance trope, but make it crazy dramatic! Kate must meet 6 sets of parents and tell them the news. +Manager Sungmin has come a long way since the first book! Wow. +Happily ever after!
NO! -Least favorite Romance trope. -Does Kate need to mention her pregnancy on every page? I know it's a big deal, but it's not like we could forget.
Not as much chaos at the birth as I was expecting, and the epilogue was just sap. And I'm still conflicted on Sungmin. He was a convenient solution and she was horny and obviously the guys adore him, but still...

Forever begins not long after the crazy cliffhanger in Unity. Kate is now pregnant and her poly relationship with the members of Onyx is constantly evolving and adapting.
The heat is turned up a notch in Forever, with some moments of M/M thrown in for good measure. The writing keeps you hooked and interested. Forever went by so fast – J.S. Lee has a way of making the pages fly by.
One little spoiler I have to spill (the blurb alludes to it, so I’m not sharing too much): Sungmin joins the relationship! He and Kate were at odds and ends for so long with tension for days. I felt like doing a happy dance once they FINALLY communicated with each other.
This is the final book in the series and it was wrapped up nicely. Even got an epilogue to make my day. Looking forward to more from J.S. Lee when she revisits H3RO!
Honestly, I am at a loss for words. This books had me laughing and crying (in a good way) the whole time. Ji Soo Lee is one of those authors that I will read over and over again and never come up for air, and this last book in the ONYX series did that for me again. I am completely in love with this book and the series. Buy the book, get lost in it's amazing world, you will not regret it for a single second, I promise you. Even if you don't like kpop, have never heard of kpop this is still a riveting, smoking hot book with an author that leaves you speechless. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.
I’m being gracious with the two stars. I would have given it 1 but because it was a K-POP story it gets two.
I can’t even with the Sungmin plot line/storyline. It felt gimmick-y. I don’t even understand why he had to be added to the harem. And even so I felt like we didn’t get to see why he “changed” his mind about why he was so okay with it. I’m going to assume it was because she kept standing up for him against Moonhee, but like we dint really get to see it. Just a lot of brooding, and then bam! Just idk. If I could go back I’m not sure I would read this series.

Overall, this series has been fun and engaging. I've enjoyed each book and will definitely revisit the series, but this did feel a bit rushed. I was expecting more conflict or something to change with the relationship, but even Sungmin's addition to the harem felt a bit underwhelming at times. I love the characters, but something about the plot development just didn't quite hit the mark for me. Also, these covers are gorgeous.
I love K-Pop. When I found this series, I thought it would be filled with lots of unreal fiction. I am so glad that I'm wrong. Great series with great characters and story lines. I couldn't put it down. Read all 5 books in 3 days, every spare second I could. These books grabbed me and I gladly went for the ride. Only thing I regret is that I didnt start with the H3RO series to read them in order. Gonna go start them now though so..... Have fun reading, I did!
This was everything I hoped for and expected with this series. I am completely on love with everyone in the whole entertainment group and love how different the dynamics are within each group. Onyx was an absolute blast to read and the pregnancy was such a great twist, especially when dealing with the ex fiance (I would have punched her in the lady balls!)
This series was great! (If a bit drug out) but don't let that discourage you!! This series was hot and steamy, action packed, and absolutely adorable! If course me being a reader, I wish there was more be wise I love the characters so much, but at the same time I think it's perfect as is. I totally recommend this series!
I really enjoyed this one, but I can not give 5 stars because of a few things shoved in and left unresolved, and the fact that the entire pregnancy storyline is very much not my cup of tea. But there are some hilarious moments, and some very hot moments. All in all, a very enjoyable series. Would recommend.
I now have a book hangover. It was so good. Can't wait for this author to drop her next book. Me sitting here like a dog at the dinner table waiting for a pity handout. 🤗
Though this series ended well, I wish there was more. I will miss these characters.I would have liked a little more from some characters and details in the storyline, but overall it was fantastic.
A wonderful ending to a fantastic series! Of course it’s never easy to reach HEA but Kate and her men finally find happiness! Plenty of twists and turns, sadness and tears, to keep you involved. Ji Soo Lee did it again! Another fabulous book!

This was a great series a journey of love, tragedy, drama , intriguing storylines and interesting look into the world of KPop! I really enjoyed this series it kept getting better with each book. A definite recommend!
This series has seriously wrecked me! I loved getting to know all these characters! I’m really sad to see the story end but really happy with how it ended ❤️
I’m going to miss this series. I love Kate and her men. This series was emotional and exciting. I loved how they all supported each other through everything.
This is my second series I have read and I absolutely LOVE them! If you love a good reverse harem romance than this is for you! Also check out H3RO too!
