Wages for Transition is a manifesto zine about transfeminism, labour and social reproduction. It’s an argument and a provocation for thinking about transition as work, and escalating demands and practices for the communisation of gender.

It was commissioned by Dundee Contemporary Arts for their 2019-20 Seized by the Left Hand exhibition.

Harry Josephine Giles is a poet from Orkney. Their PhD on the possibilities of science fiction poetry for minority language literature became the verse-novel Deep Wheel Orcadia (2021). Tonguit (2015) was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection, and their second book, The Games (2018), for the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award.
