The author packs in many key strategies for presentations in a mere 138 pages. This yearI also read, "The Art of Public Speaking" by Dale Carnie which is undoubtedly a classic and I haven't found anything with the depth of information as that book. However, what I really like about The Presenting Book is that it covers many types of presenting, from interviews to meetings, to virtual presentations and it is very contemporary and relevant to what is needed right now.

Ms. Soames provides some models in many of the chapters to help organize your thoughts, strategize and assess elements of presenting. I personally liked the Personal Branding Shield which is a one-page plan for your personal brand related to speaking. As someone planning to improve my speaking skills, this book was succinct and provided some key frameworks to take action and improve.

Highly recommended.

Thanks, Brian
