Unlike the other Paperscape books on London and Paris they had a different author. While the others told a little about the architecture, it also had fun tidbits about what businesses or organizations were in the building and random facts. The NYC book was written by an architect guy and it went way too deep into architect jargon and dry and boring facts building facts instead of the fun stuff.

Beautiful text and illustrations on each page, but the finished product of producing the "cityscape" is lackluster.
