Losing Hope the end of our Senior year of high school destroyed my vision of Love. We were too young to have to deal with death but it'd stole Hope from me. I'm adrift in life.
Leaving for my freshman year of college on a football scholarship puts me on the fast track of popularity at the university. Failing English Lit has me close to losing my scholarship Sophomore year. My tutor Faith sees something in me no one else sees.
Is there a chance you can meet two love of your life at such a young age? Or am I just setting myself up for heartbreak again?
Dale’s journey continues after losing Hope. His emotions at losing the love of his life, his first love, left him full of anger and hopelessness. Her life was cut short after a terrible accident. Dale enrolls into college on a scholarship, but was failing his courses, this is where he meets Faith his tutor. Faith is the only one that can save him from the anger of losing Hope, Dale is on a mission to extract vengeance. He does not care who he hurts. Ms Meachen has written an intense, suspenseful, nail biting page turner with unforgettable characters. Will Dale make peace and accept Hope’s death before it destroys everything he has worked for? Will Faith be the one that saves him? It’s not only that he lost Hope his love, but he lost his hope in everyone and everything. He needs to find his Faith. You do not want to miss out on Dale’s journey. I highly recommend you read it
Book one is about a man who falls in love after spiraling downhill with a woman whose name is Hope. Book two, her name is Faith. Ladies and gentlemen, I think I figured out the trend of this book series. It's woman with really ironically picked names saving men who are down on their luck and need romance.
I try to avoid saying it but these are just magic pussy and magic penis books. If her vagina is magical enough to get him back up on his feet and renew his hope for life then it's a magic vagina. Same with his penis. They even go into detail about how they're the best vagina or penis that they've ever experienced like that's something realistic.
Honestly these are both such basic stories that I can see people liking them and giving them three stars, but I have a pet peeve with ironically picked names. In romance this is a huge problem.
They always pick these horrible names in romance: Faith, Hope, Grace, Angel, and so on.
I just want that trend to die because these badly picked names always stand out and it always feels like oh that's all she is is a stand-in for a certain emotion or holiness. Like a woman is all you need to suddenly change your life around when that's not remotely true.
Footnote: Also this deals with loss of a loved one, Hope is dead and he grieves. But then he magically finds a woman named Faith. Another book where Susan makes a romanticization of loss and then replacing the dead person with another love interest. This is very problematic in my eyes, you can't just replace someone. You can't even replace pets you can get new pets but the new pets aren't the old pets. You can't keep replacing dead loved ones.
"Loving someone makes each of us weak, but it also makes us strong because nothing is worse than losing what you love."
Dale lost Hope a year ago. He is having a hell of a time fighting through the guilt and loss that he is feeling because of his loss. He decided to continue with their dream and go to the college that they planned on going to together. But two years in and he is failing miserably. He has basically drunk and slept his way through the past two years. If he doesn't get his act together, then he will flunk out, and he will regret it so much.
Faith is a past ward of the state. She aged out of the system and has never had a family. She is a solitary being that is on the dean's list and is striving the be successful in school so that she can be successful in life. She has been tasked with being a tutor for Dale.
They become friends, then more. And they realize, that they both can be what the other needed, but never knew that they did.
it's rough. dealing with loss is absolutely soul shattering. the book is well written, a bit like a diary, it moves quickly through the years and it's never boring. it brings up so many emotions, i cried all the way through. i unfortunately didn't feel the same love between faith and dale like i felt there was between him and hope, but i am happy about how things turned out. the narration was faultless and Jeremy's voice is perfect for the role. his tones were also on point. overall loved it but also hated it because of how much i cried. mist read no.1 if you intend to read this beautiful book or it will not make much sense. A great story with all the emotional feels. The characters are well developed and you feel like you are in the story with them. Well written and it flows from page to page. Just when he thinks he's at his lowest and will never find his one true love again, Dale meets Faith who sees something in him he thought he lost when Hope died. Can they each be what the other one needs? A story filled with hope, faith and love.

Wow this author gives you all the feels with her writing. I think I spent more time on an emotional rollercoaster with this book then any other. I love Dale, how human and real he is, the things he faces would destroy most people. The characters in this book are strong and you become so vested in them. If you want a story that will leave you ugly crying and laughing at the same time, this is truly a must read series.
I've read several books written by Susan Meachen; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Just when you think life has giving you nothing but troubles and misery. Just when you think you have nothing else to life for...along comes someone that gives you faith in what you thought you had lost. This story was a feel good that makes you want to believe that there is a higher power that has bigger plans for you and even though you dont know what they are you just have to have faith.
BEFORE YOU READ THIS REVIEW READ BOOK #1 Losing Hope
After losing Hope, Dale starts a downward spiral. He lost everything when Hope died. Wasting his life away partying and drinking there doesn't seem to be much that can be done to help him. Can finding Faith be the answer he needs? Is their more to life than just making it? What will become of Dale in his collage years. Read to find out.
Losing Hope is such an emotional read. A young couple torn apart through the death of the other. He must carry on but his heart needs to heal. He heads off to college and spirals out of control. Enjoyed the conclusion to this duet, however I felt is was rushed. I was glad to see that Dale recovered from the tragedy of losing Hope, but I feel like there was more to the story that could have developed; especially with Jacob (Hope's younger brother).
Loved the second book to the losing hope/finding faith series. Dale took some major turns and made some questionable decisions, lost himself along the way but ultimately found the better version of himself. Another great well written book. Thank you!
Author pretended to die by self on her social media and then announced she actually didn’t and it was a lie. Let’s not support the person who laughs at suicide and treats mental illness as a fun popularising thing.
Finding Faith was a heartwarming story about a young man Losing Hope and Finding Faith. Dale is just going through the motions in his college life but his scholarship is on the line. He’s going to need a tutor to help pull him through. Faith see’s more in him than he can himself. Will he be able to let Hope go and have Faith that things will work out for him? Or will his heartbreak never go away? I definitely recommend this book and author.
