Unicorns aren't real. Are they? Only if you've been trapped in your own dream by a witch who wants you dead.
Witch Noelle Flynn is finally settling into a new routine. She's engaged to the best guy on the planet, her shop is doing well, and she's picked up a few hobbies. Even her smart alleck donkey's been unusually optimistic. In fact, everything's just peachy until a local realtor turns up dead behind Fancy's, Noelle's favorite dive bar.
As Noelle and Hunter track down clues, one of the barmaids looks guiltier by the minute. Though she swears she didn't do it, the victim's family is turning up the heat and the sheriff's running out of time.
Just when she needs her brain if full working order, weird, fantasy-like dreams plague Noelle's sleep and creep into her reality so that it's hard to focus on anything. Fortunately for her, she has Raeann, Addy, and the rest of her extended crew to help keep her sane while she solves two mysteries - the one disrupting her town and the one threatening her life.
I was born and raised in the South and even hung my motorcycle helmet in Colorado for a few months. I've always had a touch of wanderlust and have never feared just packing up and going on new adventures, whether in real life or via the pages of a great book.
When I was a little girl, I didn't want to grow up to be a writer—I wanted to raise unicorns and be a superhero. When those gigs fell through, I chose the next best thing: creating my own magical lands filled with adventure, magic, humor, and romance.
I live in Florida with my two dogs and when I'm not writing or reading, I'm racing motorcycles with my taller, more handsome half, hanging out at the beach, or binge-watching anything magical on Netflix.
I'm eternally grateful for all the people who help make my life what is today - friends, readers, family. No woman is an island.

Even with the Georgia heat, I love to visit Keyhole Lake. Noelle Flynn & her friends are jyst the kind of gals I like to hang around. On such a girl's night at local dive, Fancy's, a cheapskate property manager is found out back deceased from a blow to the head. Problem is, Miranda the bartender, had a flaming public argument because the manager was dragging her feet on repairing the A/C in Miranda's apartment. Seems cheap repairs were always done even when things needed replacing. Did Miranda snap? Or had someone else gotten tired of her penny pinching ways? Plus Noelle is having psychics visions. Just what she doesn't need, another magical gift to master. If you follow the Keyhole Lake series, you'll especially get a kick out of the scene between Olivia, Noelle's nemesis, & bride to be Anna Marie in the bridal shop. Even if you're new to the series it's a hoot. Can't wait for my next vacation in Keyhole Lake where the tea is always sweet & tbe ladies sassy.
Another good book in this series. Rally enjoyed it. This was a quick read at 121 pages.

Entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters in an entertaining storyline. Young young woman who lives in a small Southern town where she comes from a family of witches. Her mother passed away at a young age and she was raised by her aunt along with her sister. Her sister now has gone off to college and is off on her own adventures in another series. She still lives in the family Horse farm raising her horses and running her small shop where she creates new things out of old things. She lives with her fiancé the town sheriff and a few friends. Along with a talking donkey. A miniature donkey who wants was a normal man that was cursed by a witch and his lived with the family for centuries. Follow along as they serve murders mysteries and other crimes. Entertaining from beginning to end.
Well, looks like Noelle has obtained another new power. Unfortunately it isn’t one she wants to be strapped down with, but she’ll just have to figure out how to tame and control it like the others.
In this read, Noelle has a quick vision of someone standing over a dead body, so when the death actually happens she questions if the vision is a “one off” or if there’s something more serious going on. She also has a couple of vivid dreams that warn her of things to come and she questions whether or not those were real.
In the meantime, her friend is preparing for a wedding and when the dresses are being looked at, an annoying person tries to grab the very dress Noe already knows her friend is buying and something pretty funny happens to stop the argument. Best. Thing. Ever!
Noelle Flynn lives in Keyhole Lake with her friends and famiky, the living and the ghostly. You see Noelles a witch, a kitchen witch. Used to be her skills were mainly confined to cooking but in the last two years her talents have changed and grown. Solid isn't always comfortable with the changes but her skills tend to come in handy helping her fiance Hunter -------- who is the Keyhole Lake Sheriff ----------- solve crimes which occur in their town. This is an enjoyable series with engaging characters. It has a lovely family feel with no strong violence, bad language of sex scenes. Really good to.read when you just want to relax and chill out.
Noelle gets involved in another murder and this time she is in a quandary about it. She has picked up a new power that she isn't happy about and is also having weird dreams and can't figure out why. There is a lot going on in this book and some of it makes you think and some of it really tickled my fancy. Another marvelous story Tegan and I will never get enough of this Keyhole Lakes series. I can't wait for the next one and I will likely finish it at 4:00 a.m. as well!
Same old characters that we love, with craziness going on in their lives and then you throw in a murder. You have one suspect that was found with the body that obviously didn't do it, and then you have another "friend/suspicious person" and it's pretty obvious she did it. It was still a good story line though and I really enjoyed it because I'm attached to all the characters.
Another short for Noelle and her witchy family, and another murder to solve.
This time tho Noelle's new witchy powers - telepathy - let her see who is going to die 8 hours before the event... I don't fully understand if the killer was found and arrested as it's never mentioned. One thing is known, there's enough evidence to say who and why they killed the person.
Finally! Tegan Maher is one of those authors who really tell a tale. The witches of Key Hole Lake series is my addiction. Murder at Midnight is a quick fix but chock full of the mayhem, murder and magic Tegan is known for. If you have been wishing for more Hunter and Noelle, here it is.
Absolutely love this series and it just gets better. Noelle has started getting new powers ever since Shelby was rescued by an angel. Now she has stated getting visions and the first one happens to be a dead body. A murder no less. Read on to find out about the visions, the victim and wedding dress shopping.
There’s just some about a pleasurable, well-written, cozy, paranormal mystery that soothes the nerves. This book is just such an example. Well developed, relatable characters and only a tidbit of drama. And that drama is downright Southern flair!
Noelle and Hunter are now living ❤. All seems right with the World until Noelle starts having dreams and premonitions. A Tenant Manager is accosted at a restaurant that Noelle and Hunter are having lunch at by a furious tenant, loses a deal with a client and then is found dead that night behind a club. Did Noelle's friend really do it?
Teagan Maher is such a good writer. I wish I could see Anna Mae's wedding dress. Sounds beautiful. Money is always a bad thing when murder happens. Never gonna make you happy especially if u have to kill to get it.
Someone murders a property manager and of course one of Noelle'e friends is looking like the guilty party. Noelle also appears to be getting another magic gift also and dress shopping and planning for Anna Mae's wedding. As Hunter tries to find the killer Noelle is there to help.
I have read several of the books in this series. It has strong and well developed characters that you will fall in love with and root for throughout the books. The stories flow and are engaging, before you know it your at the end. Great Reading Everyone!
Every one of the books in this series is an excellent read. Good stories and fun mysteries, with interesting characters. I’ve been following these characters through 13 books and I can’t wait to see what happens to them next!
Another fine increment in the series. The murder was solved, but the mystery was almost marginal to the book. Life incremented on for Noelle and her fam.
All of these books are quite enjoyable, but they are basically episodes in a series. Plots are developing over a number of books.
When Noelle goes to her favorite dive bar, she is not expecting someone to die, and she definitely was not expecting how she found out. Everything was great, and she was getting used to her new gifts as a witch, but this newest thing we'll it will be a doozy.
I thought she promised a return to humor after book 11. Not so much here and the logic (deduction) seemed more forced than in the past. Hope next one is better. Because of past success, I will continue.
Welcome back to Keyhole Lake and its great cast of characters. As always, entertaining - the bridal shop beatdown was hilarious! A fun and enjoyable novella.
