About the author

Takari Hunter was born and raised in Iowa but has since lived in many different places within the United States. She moved back home when her son was still a toddler and stayed while he attended school. Now that he’s graduated, she’s unsure where the winds will carry her and her cat next; she loves to travel.

Takari enjoys spending time in her flower gardens, where the fairies live. They whisper such amazing tales to her while she’s taking care of the plants. When she gets the time, she also likes hiking in the woods, there are always plenty of fantastical tales and creatures to be found. Takari has always enjoyed immersing herself into fantasy over real life.

She’s always wanted to be a writer/storyteller and started at a very young age by making up stories to go along with her picture books—her stuffed animals were a captive audience. Takari feels very blessed
to finally be at a place in her life she can take a chance at telling her stories to the world and hopes the world will enjoy them as much as she does writing them.

Sooooooo long time no communication. Let me start by apologizing for that! I am truly sorry. I hope ya'll will forgive me. I promise I didn't abandon you or Dahlia. I just struggled with sophomore slump, self doubt, and life.

Next, let me just announce the first draft of Malice & Madness is officially finished. I am in love with this book as I hope you will be. It's finally FINALLY where I want it to be. It's bigger, badder, twistier, longer, and has A LOT more world exposed. Dahlia is EXACTLY where and who I want her to be. I haven't wanted to say anything then jinx it while I worked. I still want to release 2 & 3 back to back. But I just wanted to let ya'll know I'm here and Dahlia is here. I will keep @everyone posted with updates as they come.
