This book features 60% big foot sightings, 10% tragic incidents, and 30% ghost stories that have occurred in Western North Carolina. The writing reads more like investigative journal entries than stories. I enjoyed the pictures – they were my favorite part of this book.

There are some interesting stories I had not heard before but it seems obvious that the author was really hunting for content and including just about anything, even if there was limited information. The book is also full of typos.

I feel like the author was all over the place. Also, when he wrote about specific events he would then offer his own opinion that seemed a bit irrelevant.

DNF at page 20 - It talked more about the location than of the actual tales... was a bit disappointed.
