Jasmin Quinn’s Running With the Devil books have been some of the best series of stand alone books (with recurring characters) that I have ever read. And, believe me, I read a lot of books... not to mention the fact that I’m rather hard to impress and very picky. I simply cannot recommend this series of books highly enough. If you are a fan of mafia fiction, these are books you need to read.
This latest installment, the 11th in the series, is entitled Duplicity. This is the story of Dimitri Jackman and Brook Lafferty. Jackman is the head of an underworld organization and Brook is a government agent. That’s all I’m going to say about the plot and, oh my, what a plot it is. Exciting, complex, flawlessly executed with interesting characters and cleverly built worlds, this book is a truly awesome read. It’s something I’ve come to expect from Jasmin Quinn.
I was hooked from the first page onward. I started the book at night and due to the late hour I had to put it down until I finished it today. That was not easy to do, let me assure you. The situations and the characters kept running through my mind. I just had to know what was going to happen. This is a sign of impressive writing, to stay that long in consciousness, constantly going round in my head and not giving me a moment’s peace. It was a wild ride with an incredibly satisfying ending. Don’t miss out on this really good read. Highly recommended!

I rather enjoy when the anti hero or villian (depending on your perspective with this series) meets and falls in love with his match. Jackman is sexy, at times a little cruel, relentless when he makes up his mind and maybe a tad bit possessive when it comes to Brook. She is a mix of tough and vulnerable which is exactly what Jackman needed . Continuing storyline which answered some of my questions while still keeping me guessing about others. I liked the cameos of couples from earlier books in the series but the main focus is on Brook and Jackman. Some nail biting drama, sizzlingly sexual encounters, and a satisfying happy ending for this couple that left this reader with a smile.

Fantastic and very thrilling story!
WOW! This was utterly fantastic from beginning to end. Dmitri and Brook's story had me completely hooked, totally enthralled and highly entertained right to the very end!
The story-line was exciting and thrilling with lots of twists that will keep you guessing. It is definitely a wild ride with an incredibly satisfying ending.
Highly recommend!

I love this series. Dimi Jackman has always been mysterious and complex in the previous books, but this is his book. I finally learn what and why he does things. I learned why he hates the bravta. The reveal is thanks to Brook Lafferty. She is a no nonsense, take no crap lady. She gives as good as she gets. Their relationship is bitter sweet. I highly recommend this book!

Great story the main characters are great and kinda funny, lots of twist and turns, and hot and sexy, definitely recommend this book.
