There is so much to love in this book! I love fresh ideas and the idea of a young banshee coming of age and learning her powers was the unique read I needed. This book is full of magical creatures of all shapes and sizes and really cool banshee powers.

If you love some messy teenage love with several twists and turns this book will keep you reading. I loved the MC and was constantly rooting for her to overcome all the obstacles in her life. I look forward to seeing what happens next in this magical world.

“I giggle as I get up and throw a pillow at her. Her mouth drops open as she throws it back, missing me by a mile.”

This story was so much fun to read and really interesting. I loved Ivy and her personality and absolutely hated Peter. He was very annoying, especially because he jumped right in and expected Ivy to trust him. I enjoyed the aspects of souls and the twin brother that grew up with her even though he was dead. He was definitely one of my favorite characters, and I would like to see more from his perspective, growing up, but not really. I absolutely loved the scenes in which Ivy gets to relax and have fun. It was a brief moment of happiness before the intensity of the situation was brought back to attention. I can’t wait to read more from Monroe!
