STORY:
So this is the continuation and conclusion to The Virgin Clause. I liked that the set up started with the couple as they were still on their Barbados trip. Saying this, I personally am not a fan when a story concludes and the characters reconnect halfway into the book. Dante and Noemi started out with heat and I like that. In book one Noemi was very compliant, however, she has come out of her shell and she has evolved but still has that shy submissive manner around Dante. She has discovered more information on what Dante really does for a living and the mystery surrounding those she loves. Dante, is still a dominating presence, but I think it was more tame as he is trying to open up more.


CHEMISTRY:
Physically, I love Dante’s and Noemi’s connection. It was a turn on but not hardcore. But their heat and connection was nevertheless is satisfactory.


SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
This book is a duet and I noted in my first review that I love Gabriel and now, Willis, Noemi’s brother. They need their own stories. Secretly, I wanted Lilly and Willis to have a connection, I think they would make a good couple.


Overall, I enjoyed book two. There were a lot of twist, turns and secrets revealed so that kept my attention. Book one the author discuss more of Dante’s family and book two focused on Dante and Noemi. I think the only thing missing was an epilogue. I was curious about certain things and the couple with how they would make it work even if it’s months later.

Book Two (It didn’t disappoint)
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Bad boy….check

Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Neomi is sweet, kind, caring and treats everyone fair and right. She is just home from spending years over in Europe. She had well she still has a crush on Dante, the mysterious older brother of her best friend and she has always been drawn to him and couldn’t figure out why or how to stop it all together seeing that nothing would/could happen between the two of them. Dante is one of the top paid assassins in the world. He is not only sexy, but also observant and quiet, smart which made him really good at his job and let’s not start with the self-control over everything in his life until she returned and that self-control yeah kind of cracked just a little. He couldn’t refuse her offer but accepting her offer put her in danger, but he will always protect her. Second time around we get to see all the many sides to Dante and Noemi is still sweet, kind, shy but that shyness doesn’t overtake her anymore she is strong, brave and will lead if she has to. The things she has learned about her parents and brother can make or break her, but Dante isn’t going to allow it. Dante trust her with everything he is, he has and will be. Will they find happiness?

The Virgin Temptation...

The Calegaris book 2. A new author for me. A very fantastic read. Dante and Noemi continue to call for each other while all the craziness surrounds them. Lies, secrets and betrayal leads them on prickly path to the past. Now add in bad guys, unbelievable brothers and one sweet mother. This book was highly dramatic, sexy and angsty. I would've liked to see where her BFF disappears to so often but I feel like there is a story coming for her. Gabriel and Willis definitely needs a story.

Truths and acceptance are found.
Love and determination are uncovered.
She knows all his demons and loves him anyway.
She is to good for him but he is keeping her anyway.

A very enjoyable story with great characters and an intriguing storyline. I loved the action and adventure feel to it. I liked the way the author revealed answers to the secrets which began in the first book and continued in this book as well. Nicely done.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. The story was about Dante and Noemi. Noemi is the only woman Dante trusts and wants she also knows his secrets, the thing is Dante knows her parents and brother their secrets. Will her parents secrets bite them on the ass. It has passion, desire, lust, suspense, drama, pleasure, pain, trust, and heartbreaking and more.

This is the second book in The Coregaris duet and concludes the story of Noemi and Dante. The characters have grown and evolved since the first book. The storyline reveals secrets and answers, and has action, suspense, unexpected twists and sizzling passion. This is a great duet which I recommend.

I read the first book and could NOT wait for this story and it certainly did NOT disappoint. The web around Dante was so tangled, there was no way of knowing where the story was going to go. And I love that!! Be prepared for several plot twists. Be prepared to be kidnapped by this book. Put something in the crock pot for dinner and have your laundry caught up because once you enter Dante and Noemi's world, you're not going anywhere.

In the first book, she offers her virginity to a man she's loved for years now. Her best friend's older brother caught her attention and she never got over her crush. Even a few years in England didn't squash the feelings she had for him. So she made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Dante's plan was to love her and leave her. Of course, not all goes as planned and it's one thing after another that snowballs into a complete mess. Someone has a contract on him and they had the nerve to put an attempt on his life while he was in Barbados taking care of his contract with Noemi.

There's so much I could say about this book, but not without giving away twists or surprises and I want the readers to have the same experience I had so...........get BOTH books and clear your schedule for a couple days. You will thank me later.

This is the second book and let me tell you, the bar was set high on the first book. But this one doesn't disappoint in the least.
It actually went a step further and left me wanting more, more, more.
Dante's journey is amazing and to be able to witness all his growth and his different sides is a privilege.
Noemi also grows. She comes out of her shy shell and emerges a strong, brave, take-charge woman.
Together they are delt a lot of bad hands, but play the game long and hard keeping their eyes on the goal.
I loved this story and fell in love with the characters.
Definetly a must-read heart-warming nail-biting action-packed page-turner.

I loved, loved, loved this book! The twists were so compelling and I couldn't find a single moment from the first page on where I felt like I could put it down! Dante's character showed tremendous growth over the course of these two books; I was absolutely in love with him by the end! I felt like his love story with Noemi was unique and authentic; they both found a way to love each other for who they are! This book left me wanting more!

This is Book 2 in the Calegaris Series by this author. It is the conclusion to the slow burn romance between Noemi and her best friend's older brother, Dante. The connection and the hot chemistry between these flawed characters remain strong as they navigate through the unique plot. Their love story continues with more drama, secrets, danger and lies uncovered. An enjoyable read with a happy for now ending.

When I picked this book up, I did not know it was the 2nd book in a duet. With that said, it wasn’t hard to follow the story line but it would have benefited me to read the first book for some of the major details. I loved the intrigue and mystery Dante and Noemi find themselves in. Not knowing whom to trust or what other secrets are still out there. I will definitely be checking out the first book and am anxiously waiting for Lilly’s book.

Excellent

I loved this book. Lots of danger and action and a love story that will melt your heart. Two people caught up in a game of cat and mouse and you don't know who is the good or the bad until the end. There are lots of secrets to figure out and some come with dangerous consequences. Well written and keeps you enthralled to the very end.

Naomi had always loved Dante her brothers best friend and when she gives Dante an offer he cant refuse it opens her up to his dark assassins world, but she is about to find out her families past is anything but rosy, can Dante keep her safe? this is well written and book 2 in the duet of their story. filled with acion, suspense, drama, hot scenes, desire twists and more!

Intriguing duet.

The conclusion of the Calageri duet, THE VIRGIN TEMPTATION has all the suspense, subterfuge, passion and chemistry of assassin Dante Calageri and the only woman that makes him weak from his feelings for her.

Noemi is also the only woman that knows all of Dante’s secrets and the only person he trusts. Dante knows quite a few unsettling things about Noemi’s parents and brother that start to unravel. The story between the two of them is gripping and heartbreaking, at times. It is one of those books you can’t find a good place to stop reading because the next big thing is calling to you.

This is the first duet by this author. My spidey sense is telling me Gabriel and Lilly have stories coming up. Lilly’s absences in book 2 make me think she is up to something with someone.

If you read The Virgin Clause you will definitely want to read this, but if you want to start here you won't be disappointed. This is a hot steamy romance and a keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller with twists and turns you won't be able to second guess. Dante Calegari is an assassin, Noemi his sister's best friend and next-door neighbour. At her request he has been her first lover having always been her first love, but she is in danger and both are being threatened by unknown attackers. Can he protect her? Can he save himself from falling in love with her? Believe me, you won't be disappointed.

Don’t make the same mistake I did! If you haven’t read book #1, you will have a difficult time navigating through this one. This is book #2 in the Calegaris series. Dante is an assassin and Naemi is the sweet, virgin, friend of his sister who has been in love with him “forever”. The plot is well developed and interesting with lies, secrets, romance and great chemistry.
