Want to Develop Powerful Thinking To Help You Achieve Your Biggest Dreams? Read on.

There was a time that meditation was viewed as a niche interest.

But then the evidence overtook its reputation and it became a buzz around the globe.

In similar fashion, the concept of mindset got a big boost with release of Carol Dweck’s book, “Mindset: The New Psychology of Success” and the flurry of science backing up the claims.

But what is mindset?

Mindset is your most deeply held thoughts and beliefs that affect how you see the world. These thoughts affect your focus, assessments, and behavior.

In short, mindset has an outsized impact on your outcomes. Powerful thoughts can instantly propel you forward while limiting thoughts resist big ambitions.

The exciting thing is that if you have beliefs that are untrue and holding you back, you can change it within less than 24 hours! Adopt thoughts that better reflect the reality of what’s possible. And get further than you could ever imagine.

Think about this example. Say you have a dream that’s really important to you. This dream is what gets you up in the morning and keeps you working hard every day.

But when you start sharing this dream, people close to you tell you that you’ll never reach it. Despite your best efforts to resist their negativity, you’re dismayed to see their belief has become yours.

How likely is it that you will even start now?

What if you saw things more clearly and were more secure in your abilities?

Now, you calmly dismiss their naysaying as mere ignorance of well-intentioned friends. Your belief that your dream is within reach remains as strong as ever. And you’re already taking your first steps towards it. How does that feel?

Change Your Mindset helps you tap the power that comes from optimizing your mindset. With the help of practical exercises, you will erase any limiting beliefs, build strong habits, and start to see serious results.

In Change Your Mindset, you ́ll discover:

- One shift in thinking that dramatically improves your happiness with no change in your current life situation
- A secret exercise that gets you to your deepest desire to unleash your motivation
- How to uncover incredible insights to up your strategy and planning
- Simple practices to identify your core beliefs, as well as which ones are helping you and which need to be changed
- How to design a new mindset that's true to who you are while incorporating new ideas that are both exciting and true
- The only questions you need to understand in your life to progress towards your goals
- 3 proven techniques to quickly build your new thinking into a lifelong habit

And much more.

Some people are resistant to the idea of changing their mindset because they believe their thoughts and beliefs are intrinsically them. They think that changing them would go against who they are.

But consider that all thoughts and beliefs were at one point adopted by you. This work doesn’t require any particular change, you just need to discover how to deeply think through what’s true and effective for you.

Well Organized But Rough

You can tell that this author is enthusiastic about his topic. Unfortunately, the execution of the book lacks. There are many rough phrases and sentences where you can tell what he was driving at, but they miss the mark slightly. This book could have done with the judicious hand of a good editor, both in terms of content and grammar. The book is logically organized, following a natural progression of understanding what mindset is, what your mindset is, and why you should change it before moving on to evaluate your current one, craft a new one if need be (and make it stick), and apply it in the real world. For some reason, at the beginning, the author gives multiple definitions of mindset, including several of his own as well as ones from dictionaries. I think he—and the book—would have had more clarity if he could have come up with one solid one. I think this book does have some wisdom nuggets in it, but the book is very much a diamond in the rough, so it takes a little bit of work to mine them.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

This is a quick, insightful book filled with valuable information about how to change your mindset. Mr. James does an excellent job of describing the different types of mindsets and the methods and exercises you can use to change your habits, thoughts and beliefs to pursue your goals. I've already read Carol Dweck's book, which he refers to, but I still learned a lot of new things from reading this book. This is a very helpful book for anyone who wants to learn about mindset and desires to change their life for the better.
