When life throws you a curveball, you hit it out of the park.
I’d never been as wrong as I was when I assumed the Rogues had betrayed me. Now the true culprits were on my hit list—which was, at the moment, dormant. While an impossibly archaic threat hung over Stella’s head, there was nothing to be done but wait.
The Rogues were back in my life in private, but I had to endure the public spectacle of those intolerable Roguettes reclaiming their social positions…and my boys. Even though I knew it was a ruse, anger coursed through me every time the queen bee touched my man.
Not fearing any consequences, Charlotte and her cronies pushed me past my breaking point. I gave them a beating they won’t soon forget, but my satisfaction was short-lived. Jail had a way of sucking the pleasure right out of you.
But not the determination.
We would break the chains that bound us and be free. Free to be together. Free to live our lives.
No more sitting on the bench. It’s time to play ball.

Great ending. I NEED more josh. Yes Queen. Who wouldn't love a man who called you queen everyday. Chaz is one lucky lady. Charlotte got exactly what she deserved and omg some crazy stuff went down. Great book. Great trilogy. Highly recommend.
Must read in order. This is the concluding part of Chaz and Mason's story.
After a very bumpy start and finally getting to the source of the Rogues turmoil. Chaz, with the help of her besties Josh, Simone & the Rogues are getting closer to destroying them. Can they keep seeing their hearts desires behind closed doors. While keeping up appearances with the matches their parents have paired them with?
Mason's protecting his twin Stella, cutting himself from his friends and inadvertently making Chaz second guessing her relationship with Mason, was she really a fleeting fancy?
Can Chaz reign in her temper & play it cool?
Loved it! Great read. Had me guessing, not seeing some of the twists and turns coming.
So I really enjoyed the first book, the second book went a little downhill for me, and this one kind of continued that downward trajectory. The writing was good, I guess I just didn’t like the actions of the characters.
I didn’t like how stupid Chaz acted multiple times, because it just didn’t seem like it was in her character? Getting into fights and suspended multiple times? She got them into the mess and then all of a sudden gets upset when Mason has to do something to fix it. The drama with the Bellamy’s was just not my cup of tea either, especially not how it ended with Charlotte. She deserved all the worst, but not in relation with the Bellamy’s, since it seemed she was a victim and being used at 17?
5 stars for The Third Strike by Wendi L. Wilson . This is the third and final book in the Roques of Everly Prep series. What an epic ending. We really see what Chaz and her group of friends are made of. Chaz fights for everyone in this book. Mason and Chaz are a great couple. I love every character in this story. The plot twist had me on edge the whole time. I was wanting to fight and yell the whole way through the book. This was a great series, and I cannot wait to read more from this author.
Fabulous! What an ending! This last book really tied things all together while taking you on a serious ride of ups and downs. Just when you thought things were going to be a complete disaster a gem drops in Chaz's life and brings about a change for the Rogues that they never saw coming! Wendi Wilson has written an amazing series about Chaz and the Rogues, all of the books were so fun to read and kept me guessing!
I really enjoyed the characters at EP. Mason and Chaz was such a great couple . I loved the twists and turns this story took us down. I will say I agree with Chaz, Seth should have gave her heads up on the secret he had on Penelope. I will say I really enjoyed the parts we got from Seth's dad Atticus. I wanted to read about him almost as much as the others. I honestly thought it would be him who finally would be able to put the belemys in their place. Overall I would recommend this series if you enjoy a slow burn romance with crazy antics happening
Such an amazing series! I lived every minute of it, the backstabbing, underhanded meddling, lies, scandle, love, hate, humour and sex scenes!! Wow! What a ride!! It was like a jaw clenching roller coaster ride at a theme park, you know the kind of ride that you just don't want to get off! Highly recommend this read.
The Third Strike by Wendi L. Wilson is a dark high school bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kasi Hollowell. This is the third book in the Rogues of Everly Prep series.
I was pulled in from the first book and couldn't wait to see how it was going to end. Wendi did a great job wrapping up the series.
Kasi did an amazing job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, bullying romances, high school romances or contemporary romances.
I think that overall all the books in this series were too short This resulted in a huge lack of character development that was incredibly disappointing because there was a lot of potential. There was supposed to be 4 main male characters however, I would say there was only 2 Seth and Mason.
This was particularly upsetting in terms of Coopers character. In the first book it’s mentioned that cooper was always laughing and smiling but it seemed like he was hiding behind it. This idea is never expanded on or explained I mean of all the guys cooper had it the easiest not even being paired with anyone. His character was hoe story a huge waste with very little lines in the whole series.
Theo had slightly more background but it just seemed like she ran out of time to expand on the characters. I think expanding on each of the families and there dynamics would have been incredibly usefully and insightful. We got a decent amount of the Bellamys but very little info on Cooper or Theos parents and why they were so under there control.
I’m also confused why the administration hated her soooo much when it’s mentioned quite a few times that her new step dad is the largest donor. He’s an even larger donor then the Bellamys so how they risk upsetting him is confusing to say the least.
What annoyed me the most about this book in particular was how much crap everyone gave Chaz. It felt as if no one knew her. She was so obviously going to have a hard time watching her boyfriend be in a fake relationship with as girl who was currently still bullying her. I think everyone expected way to much out of her. I understand that she knew it was fake but it still wouldn’t be fun to watch everyday. Not to mention she had it by far the worst because Charlotte was going out of her way to be hateful all the while Chaz was still being hard core bullied. Stella was still able to see and talk to Seth and josh wasn’t getting bullied.
I found Masons character to be very annoying this book. I completely understood his motives but I think it was a lot to ask of the person you loved. He came off really selfish at some points it felt like he wanted and expected Chaz to wait 8 months for him without so much as even a hello. He lead Chaz to spiral and even and up arrested and didn’t for one second try to let her know that he didn’t mean any of it.
I was so glad Chaz and Seth finally involved there parents and even more annoyed they had debt done it sooner. Atticus was easily able to fix some of the school issues Chaz was having and come up with a plan to get Stella way from the Bellamys. I think the lack of communication in this series was to an extreme that was difficult to deal with. I constantly felt like I was yelling at the characters to just use there words.

Ok this was a epic trilogy worth the time to delve into!
Ok we all need that one, amazing gay friend
“Yeah, well, I’m sure he would like the privilege of ogling these babies to remain all his,” I snarked, pointing at the girls. Josh’s eyes dipped down, then chased back up and over my shoulder, where they widened. “Stop making me look at your boobs, queen. I don’t care to see them, and now your man looks like he wants to murder me for letting my eyes wander.” “They’re pretty magnificent,” I said, tapping a finger against my chin, “but I’m not sure even Mason believes they’re perfect enough to make you rethink your sexual preference.” His eyes involuntarily dipped again, as if he needed to take another look just to prove to me and everyone else the girls held no interest for him. His nose scrunched up, and I laughed. “That proves it,” I said. “My body does nothing for you, so you can look at it all you want.” His gaze met mine, and he sighed, giving me a look like I just kicked his puppy across the room. “I guess this means we’re never getting married,” he grumbled, making me laugh again. “Most likely,” I agreed. “But if we both decide we’re done with sex and romance, we can revisit it.” One corner of his handsome mouth tugged upward. “We’d have an amazing life together.” “An amazing, celibate life,” I corrected. “We could always have an open marriage,” he suggested, raising his eyebrows. “Free love and all that.” “I think the glitter would fade fast from the arrangement. I’d tire of random, casual sex and attack you in a rabid, sex-starved haze. You’d fight me off, breaking my heart, my spirit, and my poor cobweb-filled vagina, severing our relationship forever.” “Yeah, that sounds terrible. Maybe we should just stay friends.” “Good idea,” I replied, winking at him. “I still love you, though.” “I love you, too,” I said.
I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed the feels, steam, suspense, angst, humor and lack of sleep I was able to draw from this series. Well done Wendi Wilson!!!! Will be serial binge reading more work from you asap😘
The Third Strike Rogues of Everly Prep, Book Three By: Wendi L. Wilson Narrated by: Kasi Hollowell
Wendi L. Wilson ends her “Rogues of Everly Prep” series in the best of ways, of course she continues to take you on a wild and emotional rollercoaster ride all the way to the end. I loved the complexity of the story and the web she weaved throughout the series and it was great to watch it all unravel for the key players behind the scheme against Chaz, including the lead roguette, Charlotte. This book picks up soon after the second book, Mason is protecting his sister and abiding by his parents’ wishes, leaving Seth and Chaz on the sidelines. They figure out a way to communicate, but nothing goes unnoticed by Charlotte and both their parents, so the ball is always in their court. Until it is not and once the ball is back in Chaz’s court, she shows them who is the queen. I loved how everything played out in this book and how all the pieces fell together in the end, as well as the couples that were meant to be. This brilliantly plotted story is captivating from start to end and has plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions, and romance. Wendi L. Wilson, thank you for this amazing series and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Kasi Hollowell continues to deliver her outstanding performance, bringing these characters and their story to life. Her character voices have been consistent throughout the series and the quality of the audio is top-notch. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures all the characters’ emotions and projects them into her performance. She is a versatile voice artist and an entertaining storyteller, and her narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

The Third Strike Rogues of Everly Prep, Book Three By: Wendi L. Wilson Narrated by: Kasi Hollowell
So happy!!! I have been waiting to hear the conclusion to this trilogy, and what a wild ride. This is not a standalone, so make sure to grab the first two books and hang on! Picking up where book 2 leaves off, Chaz's story continues. Just when we think things are going to finally go her way, it all turns on her. Secrets, lies, and betrayals are all we feel is the frustration and pain that Chaz is dealing with. Luckily she has her family, Josh and few others to help keep her sanity until if finally all breaks! And what a twist! This series is fantastic. High suspense and energy, new adult love and passion and friendships forged forever. Give it a listen. Wendi L Wilson is a master at this and you don't want to miss it.
Kasi Hollowell finishes out the series with her amazing voices. Each one, fluid and consistent from book to book. She builds up all the emotions and suspense, and kept me on edge and interested. Loved her performance!
Title: The Second Move Author: Wendi L. Wilson Format: Audio Narrator: Kasi Hollowell Genre: YA/NA, Revenge, Bully, Second Chance Romance Standalone: No - This is the final book in a trilogy Part of a Series: Book 3 (of three) in the Rogues of Everly Prep series POV: Chaz Steam Level: Minimal 5/5
The Third Strike is the third and final book in the Rogues of Everly Prep series. And what a conclusion it was. Wendi L. Wilson threw in some major plot twists, none of which were too surprising based on how horrible some characters were. I was engrossed in the story, not wanting to stop listening while not wanting it to end either. The Third Strike was an emotional rollercoaster for Chaz (and the reader). But Chaz is also resilient and funny. I loved her tough girl exterior and marshmallow insides. When this book ended I wanted more. I wanted an epilogue or something to see their futures.
I received this audiobook for free from Pink Flamingo Productions. This is my honest and voluntary review.
The book was ok to read. The characters were plain and flat—no growth for the main characters. The female character Chaz would talk about having a plan to destroy her boyfriend's parents, but she never came up with one; this goes on throughout the entire book. In the last two chapters, Chaz has this epic plan to destroy Mason’s parents, and the agenda is successful. The end was rushed. I liked the secondary characters. Josh was my favorite. The first book, the beginning, was boring that I was about to give up reading. However, towards the middle, it got exciting, and I continued reading the entire series. The third book, as mentioned, was more a letdown, not much happening except for more substantial, and establishing a more tight relationship among the group of friends and family. The entire series was an ok to read but not something that I would want to read again and definitely not a long-lasting story.
Mason is conflicted as he knows the best way to protect his sister Stella is by following his parent’s decree and that means pretending that he and Chaz aren’t together. The only problem is that Chaz doesn’t handle this well which only escalates the situation.
Chaz wants to protect Stella but is finding it difficult to see Mason with Charlotte which leads to some self-destructive behavior. With the help of her family and friends she shows how strong she really is as she fights to ensure that both Mason and Stella can live the lives they want and not the lives that others are forcing them into.
It was great to see Chaz’s deepening relationship with her stepfather and stepbrother as they always seem to be there when she needs someone the most. The choice of the narrator was a perfect choice as she made the characters relatable and brought out all the twists of this story. 🎧Audiobook Obsession
My favorite book in this trilogy series. Finally I can breathe 😂 Fantastic, angsty, heartbreaking, and satisfying. There are so many different avenues that moved me in one way or another. Key Character storylines for me, besides the main characters were; Her Mom & Atticus, Stella, Theo & Josh, obviously Chaz & Mason & Seth (the whole step family story). There were so many things that needed to happen in order for me to be completely satisfied with ending. I freaking loved the ending!! It’s was perfection. Kasi Hollowell’s performance was consistent throughout this series and absolutely brilliant. Her male voices were very good as well. This is book 3 with an HEA and must be read in order to fully enjoy what this story has to offer. Well done! I highly recommend this book/series!
The Third Strike is the final insallment in the Rogues of Everly Prep series and it was a doozy. It packed a mean punch from beginning to end in terms of drama and jaw dropping moments. Chaz was fierce throughout the whole story despite the continual attempts to bring her down. I adored Josh and his friendship with Chaz and I really liked Seth in this book as well. I liked how much Seth and Chaz's relationship grew throughout the story and Chaz's relationship with Atticus was also a highlight.
I thought the story was very engaging and highly enjoyed how the story ended, knowing that good outweighed evil and that the bad guys didn't prevail. The audiobook was very well done and highly enjoyable to listen to. Overall the series was very enjoyable and a nice escape and I would definitely recommend it.
When Chaz's mother marries a billionaire she is sent to school with other rich kids. She is immediately aware of a group of guys and girls who rule the school. The girls take an instant dislike to Chaz and start the bullying. What a surprise when the guys announce that they are protecting Chaz. One guy especially stands out and takes Chaz under his wing. Mason and Chaz start a romance but the girls have a plan. It completely blows up in Chad's face.
At first I was afraid this was a reverse harem story but it is not. Its a good story with some shocking secrets and some twists and turns. I really enjoyed it. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes a good romance with lots of evil plots and some tears thrown in.
