this author never misses. i have read most of their books and have been one of their supporters for a while through wattpad and radish when they switched over. when i found this book while scrolling through wattpad and saw the author, i just had to read it. and let’s just say that i was not disappointed.
maybe it was the fact that it’s a part of mythology that i loved it so much, but nevertheless, this book was easily a five star read. it was so well written and the characters felt real and three-dimensional. while i don’t normally love possessive relationships, i loved celeste and dionysus. they truly were in love.
the ending took me by surprise. it was bittersweet, and while most people don’t like bittersweet endings and would rather a completely happy ending, i believe that it makes sense and i loved it. plus, i am a whore for hurt-comfort, so this was absolutely perfect.
