The author did an excellent job of building Trina's character throughout this book. It takes a talented writer to take a character who is totally unlikable in more than half of the book and turn around to have the reader feeling sorry for her and actually rooting for a happily ever after for her by the end.
This is exactly what happened with the story of Trina and Ryder. In my book, Ryder was the perfect man while Trina did nothing but verbally abuse him. Throughout it all, Ryder showed her love and support...like trying to get through to an abused animal.

Holy hotness!! From the moment I started reading this book I was hooked! I couldn't stop, I had to know what was going happen next. This book had all the emotions and feels that keeps you turning the pages.

Katrina and Ryder end up in a bet to stay in a fake marriage for a month. What will happen when sparks begin to fly between them. Can she trust him after he hurt her previously? Fast-paced read that is fun, entertaining, steamy and emotional. Great characters and a great read. I liked it.

Great book spoty editing
I loved this story! So good and real! I struggle with depression and like I'm not enough sometimes. I also had an unstable childhood, so I can really identify with some of the struggles Trina faces. However some of the editing was distracting. There were some misspelled words that snaped me out of the story sometimes. But overall still a great read and story!

This is a great storyline with amazing characters that kept me turning the pages wanting to read what was going to happen in the pages that followed. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Loved it
For a story starting out with the main character not being likeable, I really enjoyed this story. Trina was a terrible person in the beginning of the book. Ryder was likeable. I liked how Trina worked out her faults and grew to win the love of her life Ryder.

I ALWAYS like to tell the people reading my reviews that I always start my reviews by noting the names of the characters and what I have learned about them. Then as I read I write my review as I add more character info.
When you read my character list you will find it is short. I read this book in less than 24 hours and got so engrossed in it I forgot to keep up with all of the characters.
Trina had grown up as the BFF of Ryder’s twin sister Sinclair. She had known him FOREVER and he lived to irk her the entire time. She had seen him go from gawky boy to a teenage heartthrob and now a sexy man.
Ryder and Katrina had gotten along until sometime, during the year after high school (they were in the same class) and one day something was wrong, and he had no idea what had happened. He had tried for 10 years to get Trina to give him a try, but she wouldn’t.
To help Wyatt maintain his family farm Sinclair had agreed to a “fake marriage” which had started out real on paper only but they had both loved each other for the 10 years Wyatt had been gone and grew back to trusting each other during this marriage.
Sinclair, Wyatt and Trina were sitting at the bar while Ryder was working. The subject of their “fake Marriage” came up. Both Sinclair and Wyatt talked about how hard it was, yet Trina and Ryder thought it would be SO EASY! This is how the bet came about . . . Could Trina and Ryder be in a fake marriage for one month?
The game was on . . . would they survive with their sanity intact or not?

Ridiculous.
I basically hated the heroine. She was weak and just plain witchy. The plot to have a fake marriage as a bet was flimsy and illogical. The people were believable, but their tempers were insane and the storyline had great potential, just executed poorly. I usually don’t feel this disappointed in a book. I’m not a writer, I can’t do what the author has done, but I just really didn’t like this. The level of insecurities the heroine has, doesn’t give me the impression of a lasting happy life.

Ajme Williams has written a 5-star book. This book is about the ups and downs in the relationship between Trina and Ryder. They both get talked into a bet that they can have a fake marriage for a month. Things are rocky at first then they start to go good for them. Ryder thinks that maybe he has changed Trina's mind about him. They were friends and then they weren't and he does not know what he did to change her mind about him. He has always wanted her and now is his time to try and win her. Trina has a problem with trust and always thinking people in her life will leave her so she doesn't get close to people. Trina and Ryder are almost at the end of their fake marriage and something has happened to make Trina think that Ryder is making room for someone else to take her place. They get into an argument over this and she wants to leave but Ryder stops her by telling her that they will win the bet if she stays. Trina finds out she is pregnant right before the fake marriage ends. She tells Ryder and then tells him that he is not ready to be a father. This causes a fight between them and this time she leaves. The things they say to each other has both of them thinking and Ryder does something about some of the things she said about him. This gets Ryder in some hot water with his sister Sinclair but when he explains why he did what he did she forgives him. It has been a week since Ryder has seen Trina and he goes over to see how she is doing and things don't go so well, they end up in a fight and she makes him feel worthless and lower than pond scum. He tells her he is tired of trying to win her and if she wants to be alone he will never bother her again. He tells her that she pushes people away and walks out. Sinclair goes to see Ryder and he tells her what happened between him and Trina and how he felt. Sinclair goes and lets Trina have it for treating Ryder that way and tells her a few things that she didn't know about Ryder.
Can Trina get Ryder to give her a second chance?
Will Ryder forgive Trina for the way he has treated him and give her a second chance?
This book was a wonderful read and I would recommend it to anyone.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we get Katrina "Trina" and Ryder. We met both of these characters in Accidental Love. This book can be read as as stand alone but I would recommend reading love first so you don't reveal any secrets. In this book Trina brings up the fake marriage of Sinclair (Ryder's sister and Trina's best friend)and Wyatt (Ryder's best friend turned brother in law). She believes there is no way it is that hard to be fake married to someone. One thing leads to another an Sinclair is betting Trina that she couldn't do it for 1 month. The marriage doesn't have to be real it can all be fake but both parties must agree to the 1 month term. Ryder can't believe his luck this whole discussion may give him the chance to finally change Trina's mind about him and show her how he really feels. Trina knows she has a lot of issues and one of them is letting people close to her. The thing is something happened in their youth and instead of seeing it as something that was meant as a compliment it was taken as a jab. Can these two figure things out and find a HEA they would have never thought would happen or will the sins of the past make a future impossible?
This is another amazing hit by this author. Each of her books have you relating to her characters in ways you would have never thought you could. Then you have Trina who is the opposite very organized, strict, all business no fun and comes off as very standoffish even judgemental. So they are basically oil and water. Oh and to top it off she has been angry at him for ten years. This story was sweet,funny,romantic, with a touch of drama but oh so hot and sexy.

This is a fun story watching two opposite personalities with some history trying to keep from falling in love. In “Accidental Love”, the previous book to this one, Katrina (“Trina”) had arranged for her best friend, Sinclair, to enter into a fake marriage with Wyatt to save his farm and the town from a nasty guy’s plans. Wyatt and Sinclair, Ryder’s twin, were talking about how difficult a “fake marriage” was. Katrina and Ryder couldn’t imagine that. So a bet was made that those two could not stay in a fake marriage for a month.
Trina and Ryder unfortunately have a history. He has loved her for a long time. But 10 years earlier, he had done something in high school that backfired and hurt her so much that she had not spoken to him since that day! Trina is a very organized personality, pretty rigid. Ryder is happy and carefree, living each day as it comes. But long-held anger doesn’t mean they both don’t feel the attraction that is still there. They thought this would be a simple bet to win, but they didn’t account for the real feelings that arise. Can Ryder find out what upset her back then and help her understand his inadvertent mistake, or will Trina walk away from the love of her life?
This was a good story with lots of feelings and good characters the reader can care for. Grab your copy and see if they can recover what they have lost and find their HEA.

This is the first book I've read by Ms. Williams and I will be back to read more of her books. I was reeled in from the first page to the last. I loved the depth to the characters and how the story builds. Each chapter was told from either Ryder or Trina's point of view and they have a lot of history since his twin sister, Sinclair, is Trina's best friend.
We get to know the characters a little at a time and as the layers are pulled back their feelings and emotions are exposed. They have known each other a long time but ten years ago she froze him out and he has no idea why. Neither knows how the other felt back then or even what they feel now so we get to know them as they get to know each other as well. The story flowed nicely and had a lot of steaminess and foul language, some over the top. I like how Ryder seems to get Katrina better than anyone and she's often in the moment until her head gets in the way.
There is some closure especially with the epilogue that takes place one month later and gives us a hint at the happily ever after. I would have liked if it went just a little further in the telling. Second Chance Romances are one of my favorite tropes and Accidental Baby embraces it. This is a connected story to Accidental Love, Sinclair's story, which I've added to my always growing TBR pile. I loved the cover.

Like real people having real problems and finding happiness in Salvation, Nebraska
I am loving this series. Each one is a standalone with cameos of characters from previous and future books. Sweet and steamy stories with circumstances which could be real.

He’s had a thing for Trina for a very long time and a situation presents itself that might allow him to prove his feelings for her. Could another fake marriage bring Ryder and Trina together like it did Sinclair and Wyatt?
Trina’s childhood has made her skittish when people try to get close to her. It’s even worse with Ryder b/c she has feelings for him that she wants to deny. She contends that she is too ordered and controlling to fit with Ryder’s too-carefree attitude. Will they survive a month together? I guess the fact that the title is “Accident BABY” says something…hmmm. Wonderful ending too!
We get a glimpse of Brooke who will have her own book, “Accidental Affair” next. I would love to have a book about Simon Stark if he ever has a “come to Jesus” moment and becomes a nice man. Hint, hint, hint…

We get a glimpse of Brooke who will have her own book, “Accidental Affair” next. I would love to have a book about Simon Stark if he ever has a “come to Jesus” moment and becomes a nice man. Hint, hint, hint…

This is the story of Katrina "Trina" Lados ,,,, she's friends with Sinclair who has a twin brother named Ryder Simms ,,,, Sinclair got "Fake" married to Wyatt to help keep his family's farm (See Book #1 Accidental Love) from people who wanted to take it from them,,,, All 4 of them were sitting around one day and Trina and Ryder told Sinclair and Wyatt that it's easy being "Fake" married ,,,, so, a bet was made ,, If they ,don'tstay rake married for a month, Trina has to give Sinclair's speech , ,,,,, Trina absolutely hates public speaking ,,,, If they stay married for the month, Trina gets back a book that is the most embarrassing thing, af least of Trina's thinking ,,,,,,, Trina is Senior Administrative Assistant to Mayor Valentine ,,, Sinclair also works there as Deputy Mayor ,,,, The Mayor brings in an assistant for Trina w/out her knowing so, Trina feels betrayed ,,,, She and Ryder have lots of things to overcome and it's a fun read ,,,,
The characters have their ups and downs ,,, it's full of adventure, action and some very hot steam between the pages ,,,, I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,,, I got this ARC voluntarily to leave an honest review

This is story of hate and love between childhood friends, Ryder and Trina. Trina has been best friends with Sinclair, and Ryder is her older brother. After discussing if being fake married Is easy with Wyatt and Sinclair from the 1st story they end up betting Trina and Ryder they can not stay faked married for 30 days. Trina has many issues with love and abandonment from her childhood and it’s made her very prickly with who she is and Ryder is one carefree and easy going man that Trina does see as a positive. Unknown to Ryder he used a poem of Trina’s and made it a song and Trina believed he was making fun of her and she has strongly disliked him for 10 years so when they spend 30 days together it’s one of up and downs that are full of sharing and not understanding. Ryder does everything he can to show Trina he loves her but in the end Trina does not know how to process it and they end up walking away from one another. Lots of twist and turns, hot steamy sex, hormones, misconceptions, heartache and love is what makes this story theirs. What could a harmless bet do to these two? Trina thought begin fake married wasn't difficult, but when everything came to the breaking point she knew she was wrong. Ryder had feelings for Trina but didn't know how she would react if she found out. When he heard about the bet that was his one chance to demonstrate to Trina that he could make her happy. When they both agreed to the bet Trina didn't think she would end up pregnant or have feelings for Ryder. What shocked me was when they went there separate ways. I truly thought that this story wouldn't have a happy ever after. After Trina talked to Sinclaire and realized that she loved Ryder the story took an amazing turn. I loved how Trina defended Ryder during her speech and later finally told each other how they felt. This story was amazing from one chapter to the next and until the glorious ending. This book was absolutely fantastic and you can connect with the characters emtions and i found myself having tears escape my eyes for both of them. Ryder has been in love with Trina since she was 10 years old and when he does something in high school thinking its to win heart but the opposite happens. Now they make a bet with Ryders sister that being fake marriage is easy ,but what happens when you get feelings involved and she is damaged by her past can Ryder help her or will Trina push away the only man who loves her away? This book was absolutely fantastic and leaves you wanting to throw your kindle at times and wanting you to step in and protect Ryder's,feelings. Then at times put duct tape on Trina's mouth lol I absolutely love this book and The song he sings to her swoon!

Very good romance, which is simple, but hot and very well written, especially in the description of the crossing of doubts of the heroine Trina who seems cold, closed and who however has a completely different behaviour with Ryder, the brother of her best friend, whom she depreciates by saying to him that he's a loser because he seems immature and lax.
Yet he has been in love with her for more than 10 years, even if he doesn't know why she has been running away from him for all this time.He will try to take advantage of a bet to seduce her in one month.
The relationship of the characters is made more complex by the prejudices around Ryder, and the self-destructive behavior of all relationships that Trina sets up.

Accidental Baby is the second book in this series and the title really says it all. This Fake Marriage involves a bet between two strong-willed individuals and also involves a mistake made by one of them, ten years earlier in high school which had culminated in deep hurt and a grudge held by one of them until the present day. Will Ryder finally get his chance to make things right with Katrina? The attraction for each other is still there as becomes quite evident but is the hurt too deep to allow understanding, forgiveness, and a second chance at a great and true love? This is a wonderful series and Ms. Williams is becoming a favorite author of mine. I am already anticipating the release of Accidental Affair, the next book in this series!

Katrina resented Ryder due to a misunderstanding in their youth, she has held on to that for 10 years. She didn't have a happy or stable upbringing and she blocks off everyone by being a horrible judgemental person. She gives Ryder a hard time, but he sees her real self and he doesn't give up on her......but everyone has their breaking point Can Katrina redeem herself before she loses Ryder forever? I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The characters were endearing and entertaining. I really loved the story how two people could both have crushes on each other from grade school right up till high school and beyond, but a simple misunderstanding on Ryders part caused him to unknowingly hurt Katrina by using a poem she wrote for her best friend and Ryders twin sister and wrote a song with it. Katrina was a very prickly personality that needed taming and she craved loved so much but pushed everyone away. I loved how Ryder chipped away at her hard shell and burrowed into her heart. A book well worth ready. You will laugh and cry and just enjoy the hot steamy moments.

Ajme has done it again! I don’t know how she does it but she can flat out write a story that will bring you to tears and Trina and Ryder’s story will certainly do just that. Ryder has loved Trina since he was young, but when he does something in high school it doesn’t go as he expected and she is hurt. Now years later there is a dare and a fake marriage involved and lots of emotions. What will happen when REAL feelings get involved? Ajme will make you want to scream at times and then she will have you grabbing for your Kleenex. You won’t want to miss this book. Deserves more that five stars if you ask me. LOVED IT

I loved reading Accidental Baby Ajme Williams. It was such a great book. This story is about Trina and Ryder. They were in a fake marriage to win a bet. Ryder had feelings for Trina since high school. But something happened in their last year of high school that made Trina hate Ryder. Their relationship was rocky to start with, but once they got together, it was steamy and heated. But it was going to take a while to convince Trina that Ryder was in love with her. I love stories that have fake marriages because even though they are fake, the feelings are oh so real. Especially when an unexpected pregnancy is there. Such a great book to read!!!
