How to summon a Prince of Hell, the hard way.

It’s taken almost twenty years, and I’m close. Successfully executing just one more job for the Fae will allow me to complete my life’s work.
Except it seems they’ve worked out more than I’d like them to know, and now they want me dead.
But I’m not your average witch. I’m not your average anything, so naturally, I’m going to do the one thing they think nobody dare.
I’m going to fire back.

I have every intention of taking on the Fae, but they can get behind my Royal Incubus father.

His debt is greater.

There was nothing wrong with this, but it didn't really hold my interest much, beyond the fact I liked the MC's demon form.

It probably didn't help that I stopped and read several other books between finishing this, but that's testament to it not really holding my interest.

I would still recommend it, though, as it Night just be me!

“Vengeance” is the journey of Sorrel, a grey witch/demon for retribution toward the persons responsible for her mother’s death. On the way Sorrel finds herself tossed in the middle of a war between the Fae who run “The Assembly” a clandestine organization that is supposed to protect shifters and humans alike but is actually outing shifters to show their power of all supernatural beings. Sorrel takes a mission from the Assembly and instead finds herself the target of their wrath. Along the way to freedom, Sorrel meets Sorren, a Romani with visions that may help her complete her tasks. This excitingly intense tale is action-packed, suspenseful, and overall original and well-written. The characters are varied, unexpected, and interesting. The scenes are vivid and realistic. I could not put this tale down and almost cried when I came to the cliffhanger!!!

Sorrel is a half-breed who is out getting vengeance on those intimately involved in her mother's death. Sorrel takes one last job for the Assembly, a secret organization run by the Fae. When the military building/jail in which Sorrel is housed is blown up, Sorrel escapes along with her three human captors. What happens after is a mix of truth, deception, love, lust, magic, mayhem, and being true to oneself. I enjoyed this book. It heroine is witty, strong-headed, and yet has a soft side. Not everyone is as it seems. The chemistry between Sorrel and Sorrin is intense and climatic.I do have to warn you that this does end on a cliffhanger! I highly recommend this book to those 18+ due to graphic scenes of violence and sexual prowess. Thank you BookSprout for gifting me this book and introducing me to anew power author duo. I look forward to finding out what happens next. This was my honest opinion.

Our heroine is out for the blood of those that killed her mother, but when her targets figure that out, things get a little more complicated.

This is book one of the series. Good place to start.

This is an urban fantasy/paranormal romance story with lots of action. The story is well written, easy to read and served as my introduction to this author. And a welcome introduction is was as I really enjoyed this story. Both the setting and the characters are well developed with lots of intriguing elements to explore. I particularly like our heroine who is tough and smart, and she will need every bit of that to navigate the twists and turns of this story. Overall, an excellent read and I look forward to the next book.

Highly recommended.

Sorrel is out for vengeance against those responsible for her mother's death. The Assembly learns of her plans and they send people after her to kill her. She wants to topple the Assembly from the head down. They are causing division among the Supernatural community. They try to blow up the building Sorrel was being held prisoner in and she chooses to rescue three humans because they were always kind to her. In the storyline you have all the elements of a great book sex, violence, war & love. Sorrel is learning to accept herself. This is a fine book to read. I will be watching for more from this series and author.

Sorrel is doing a freelance job for the Assembly, a secret organization run by the Fae. The next thing she knows is that they have sent people after her to kill her! When they attempt to blow up the building where Sorrel was imprisoned, she rescues three humans and takes them along with her through a portal. They have picked the wrong one to go after when they attacked Sorrel, and she will make that perfectly clear as she turns it all back on them!

Sorrel has the kind of personality a reader enjoys. She is bright, courageous, and determined to do what she had planned no matter who tries to stop her. Grab your copy and follow the fast-paced action of this intriguing story! All eyes are on Sorin to see where that part of the story travels, but it’s off to a very interesting start!

*Spoiler Alert*
Witch and Demon Sorrel (FMC) is tasked by The Assembly (a clandestine organisation run by the Fae undercover without the knowledge of Humans) for a surveillance mission but things dont go to plan. Which ends up with her going on the run with human guards - Soren, Jefferson and Naylor. Bringing lots of secrets to surface and it definitely keeps you on your toes because its so action-packed. Sorrel is a great character. A loner with plenty of wit and sarcasm which you cant help but love. Looking forward to book 2 now. A pretty good read all round

This book from the moment that I picked it had me hooked. There was no putting it down until the very last page was read. It moves along at a great pace, making for the perfect reading speed. The characters are so real that you feel as though you know them and you want to see them succeed. The story will grab you and not let you go until the very last page is read. This is a must read, there is no doubt about it.

This was a first read from this duo of authors for me and it was a riveting read. Sorrin is doing a freelance job for the Assembly but nothing goes as planned. Escaping a death trap and finding out that the ones who wanted the job done are the ones trying to kill her will surely regret it. Bad move for them. She will be their downfall. Love Sorrel character she's the kind of FMC i really like to read about, bada$$, kind but can be ruthless if your on her bad side, realistic. And there's Sorin 😍, i can't wait to learn more about him and see his relationship growing with Sorrel he's the perfect match for her. Great beginning for this series i'm pretty sure this will become an addicting series for me.
