Author Vicki Borders was a free-spirited woman born in Kent, Ohio who dreamed big dreams but didn’t have as much time for God. Life was a journey for Vicki at a young age, as she lost her father early in life and was at odds with her mom, but God had more in store, as she shares in her autobiography, Following Detours & Destinations. Marrying her naval husband at nineteen, the couple began moving a lot, dealt with job change, suffered a miscarriage, and became parents to two little boys. However, through life’s detours and destinations, Vicki felt God’s protection kept them from unbelievable struggles and the couple sought to make Him their Lord. Vicki felt Jesus walking with her as she endured cancer, raised her family, and embarked on a church horse ministry, and the same is available as well to anyone who wants Jesus in his/her life.
