Sean is a 10-year-old kid and a wolf shifter with the need to hunt. He ends up hunting is neighbor’s cattle and then they strike a deal with his mom, April. She must go on a date with each of the handsome bear shifters, Ryder, Jake and Stone. What will happen when sparks fly between all of them. Can they keep her and her son safe from abusive ex? Fast-paced shifter read with loads of steam and drama. Great characters and intense chemistry. I liked it.

Three bears to love!

This story was easy to read, with a good storyline and characters that are easy to root for. April and Sean were on the run from her crazy ex but it wasn't going well. The head brothers are exactly what they needed and the story could have ended there, except then the extra elements come into play and there's danger at every turn. I loved the unexpected action that comes as the story gets darker. But I really love the love story that comes through more.

Ranch Play

This is a very good story and for whatever reason the first romantic sexual interaction in both books I have read by this author have been pretty good. But when you have two other men to get with this Author seems to fall into a rut... almost becoming boring... yet again there is no mixed sexual interaction until after the end of the story in the epilogue. Most women aren't likely to think guys want to share if guys don't act like they want to share... I am a little disappointed I would have thought maybe this second book would have mixed it up... with a double date... two brothers and her... or even a little more intense... interrogation with the three brothers asking questions and maybe kissing infront of each other... but no its literally 3 dates 3 different sex scenes pretty much the same, and 3 times she thinks oh they are really hot, oh my how can I want them all... oh gee maybe they might like to fulfill my fantasy of being with all of them... literally that's the same in both the first 2 triplets stories from this Author. The last one was Dragon mobsters in New York, this is Montana Bear Ranchers... honestly the men are almost TOO NICE... they are supposed to be Alpha but they are anything but alpha with the women...in these stories.... the Story itself is a good storyline... its exciting and fast enough paced you dont get bored until the second and third sex scenes... I couldn't believe at one point the woman thoughts were exactly the same as the other story womans... maybe figure out away to change to a group situation first then have them each go on a date... sorry... it was disappointing but had huge potential...heck even the bad guys wanting to share her was the first mention in the book of 2 guys with her... and they were not nice guys at all.

April and her son Sean escaped her abusive addicted husband. But she was worried about Sean growing up without a male influence. He was running off without telling her and it terrified her that something could hapoen. He ran off again and she went out looking. So tired she collapsed in the woods. Her son was caught after being chased by three bears. They chased him because Sean has killed two of their cattle. Ryder, Stone, and Jack caught up to him and one wanted to kill Sean. Luckily reason won out, they were shocked to find it was just a kid. He had broken his leg so they took him to their ranch. They found April passed out at the edge of their property. They made a deal, Sean would have to do jobs around the ranch to pay for the cattle and April would gave to go on a date with each one of the triplets. But it can not be that easy, right? I am leaving this review for having received the ARC but I do so gladly because this story is a great read. The story is well written and has a twist to it. You will enjoy the story. Will Sean get the guidance he needs? Will April get her happy ending? Can the triplet brother find the one for them or will their pack ruin things? Can they all be protected from hurt and get what they are looking for? Get this book and find out, you will not be disappointed with this book.

April had run from her abusive ex husband with her son Sean. Both were wolf shifters. But Sean was becoming unruly and disobedient towards his mother, one night she told him off and sent him to his room, but Sean takes off without her knowing. Sean finds a cattle ranch and kills two cows. The owners of the ranch are triplet bear shifter, Ryder, Jack and Stone. They catch Sean and take him back to their ranch and because he became injured while trying to get away from them, they lock him in a room to rest and heal.

April discovers that Sean has gone and starts to search for him, fearing the worst. She makes it to the ranch, but passes out , she wakes up tied to a chair. Once the guys find out why she is there, they all come to an agreement after the men discuss how April could be their mate. Each guy takes April out on a date where they end up in bed, they realise that April is the one for them.

April’s ex shows up and demands for her to come back, the guy’s pack leader also want the guy out of the way because they are unhappy with the way her is running their pack. Then the two alphas kidnap April and Sean. They triplets rescue their new family and the bear alpha is killed and Sean sends his father away to never come back, they all live happily ever after.

💢 Oooooo now this story is REALLY good. You don’t just have one book boyfriend but THREE. Definitely a Must Read!
🔹️ April Hawke is a WolfShifter plus a single mom who runs away from an abusive, habitual drug user husband. Her cub and her went into hiding. The only problem she really has is her cub, he’s right at the point of becoming an adult and he keeps taking off but he doesn’t know how to handle it, then he blows it. Three absolutely phenomenal men.
🔹️ Ryder, Jack and Stone are BearShifters Triplets. All three are Alphas and they need one women for them. They own a ranch and work hard to keep it. One night 2 cows are killed the culprit is a young kid whose mother comes looking for him. The triplets see the chance.
☄️ This review is my own opinion, this author is one that I love to read her books.

Not any better

I don’t know why I gave book 2 a chance. Book one was awful and quite frankly book two wasn’t any better. In fact this book was peppered with grammatical errors and I noticed that when one of the guys was talking about his wife/girlfriend whatever she was called Amanda but then she was referred to as Annie. So it’s not just typos it’s structural too. Adding to this structural problem there’s no clear set on age. The female lead was pegged at 25 and her son was 10? So....she had him at 15? Never went into that. Then the author had this kid acting much much older than 10. I get the whole “he’s a shifter they act older” deal, but he acted more like he was 13-15 it just didn’t fit the persona of a 10y child.

I’m not gonna even get into all the character flaws or lack of depth but I’ll add that I’m sick and tired of this author’s use of prick. There are so many other words out there . She uses them in a sexual context as well as a descriptive context for negative name calling... and when it’s time for steam she’s using the word in every sentence 🙄😴

I was disappointed. I liked the premise of the story, it had a lot of potential. It just seemed to fall flat for me. I have read other books by this author so I was definitely expecting better. There were also some editing issues that annoyed me. I am not usually one to get hung up on grammar or punctuation but continuity is important to me. The clan was bear shifters, but at one point the MC referred to them as wolves. Stone's wife's name was Amanda and a paragraph later it was Annie. Annie was a completely different character who was mentioned earlier in the story.

There was not much connection between the characters. The FMC was weak and while I can understand her starting out that way considering where she came from, I expected some growth from her. She was a shifter FFS yet she just expected the guys to come to her rescue and save her. She didn't even try to fight back, it was disappointing.

I will still read more books by this author as I've enjoyed some of her past books. This may have just been a one-off miss.

This is an enjoyable, reverse harem shifter romance & the second book in the “Triplet Harems” series. The plot is well-written & flows smoothly through-out the story-line & there is some good scene descriptions & world building. The well-developed characters are quite complex but likable with their individuality.
There is: a female wolf shifter & single mother (April Hawke) is having a bit of a problem with her 10yr old son (Sean) then he gets into trouble with three male bear shifters (Ryder, Jake & Stone) who promptly take Sean & April under their care, a despicable alpha bear shifter (Jonas), a abusive ex-husband & wolf shifter (Sam), twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, deceit, betrayal, threats, danger, enemies, confrontations, violence, conflict, disagreements, manipulations, some steam, contentment, love, steamy scenes & a well-deserved satisfying epilogue. I enjoyed reading this reverse harem shifter romance & would recommend it.

This was an amazingly well-written story by one of my favorite authors, J.L. Wilder. This book 2 in the Triplet Harems Series was intriguing as it had some very well-thought out scenes and story plots. These characters have very strong wills and personalities and their interactions are believable.This wonderful story has the following: intrigue, twists & turns, adventure, action, variety of races, humans, danger, love, steam and a HEA. It is a fast-paced book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. I am always on the lookout for books by this author. She is a female wolf shifter & single mother and is having a bit of a problem with her 10yr old son. He gets into trouble with three male bear shifters who promptly take them both under their care, against a despicable alpha bear shifter and an abusive ex-husband, wolf shifter.

A good read

This book is full of action, suspense and a little romance. April ran away from her abusive husband. Now she has to teach her son how to be a man. But what does a woman know about being a man. She is over protective and is always keeping him in the house. Sean and his mom get into a fight and he runs away. The next thing he knows is that he's staring at a bear. April has spent all night trying to find Sean. She's exhausted and still has no idea where he is. She lays down to rest and is woken up by three very good looking men. They introduce theirselves as Ryder, Stone and Jack, owners of the ranch she's resting on. After taking April to the ranch where her son is, the brothers make her a deal. Let Sean work around the ranch to pay for the cattle and go out on a date with each of them. When trouble comes to the ranch, will the brothers be able to protect April and Sean? Will April be able to trust the men with her heart?

When Sean goes onto the bear's ranch and kills 2 of their cows it's the best thing that he could have done. The triplets, Ryder, Jack and Stone, take Sean under their protection and get Sean on the right path (shifter style).
I enjoyed this book just as much as I enjoyed book 1. So for the series looks like they can be read in any order and seem like they are standalone
This book is an MMFM romance, so I recommend skipping it if you do not like that type of books. For us who ENJOY this type of book. Well, all I can say is WOW. Don't pass this book up.

April ran away from her abusive and drunken husband taking her son Sean with her and now they live alone in a cabin in the woods, away from everyone so as not to be found. Sean, just learning to use his shifter abilities would at times take off not telling his mom where he was going leaving her to worry. When he gets caught by three bear shifters, Jack, Ryder and Stone, causing damage on their property, he gets hurt and then must recover on their ranch, as well as work to help pay for the damage he caused. Jack, Ryder and Stone upon meeting April know she is special and must now convince her of it too. This book is filled with drama, suspense, action, sizzling chemistry, and love. A fantastic read from the first page until the last and one I definitely recommend.

A thrilling and heart-warming addition

As the story progresses a deal is struck, subtle changes occur, and safety in the future is not a guarantee unless they rise to the occasion. J. L. Wilder’s Bear Triplets is a thrilling and heart-warming addition to her Triplet Harems series. There is a dose of danger, a smattering of smack downs, and plenty of pleasure in this romance read. I can’t wait to get my hands on Wolf Triplets when it comes out.

Another well written story by J.L. Wilder. This series so far has been a pleasure to read and review via Booksprout and the author. I loved the characters is this reverse harem - April Hawke, wolf shifter, who is running away from her abusive husband with her 10 year old son, Sean who needs help because he's struggling controlling his shifting and Ryder, Jake and Stone, bear shifters as the defenders and love interest is this reverse harem. I liked that the female was a shifter and she had a older child not a baby coming along in a lot of paranormal stories. The action and the dilemma and the romance introduce in this story kept my interest. Overall this was a very enjoyable story and look forward to the others in this series.

April is a wolf shifter, with her son, Sean, ran from Sam, her husband who was a drunk and was abusive. They were hiding in a cabin in the woods. Sean was getting to the age where as a shifter, he would be considered a man and there were certain things he had to do to become a man. He had no male influence, until he killed the cattle of triplet bear shifters, Ryker, Stone and Jack. They take Sean in hand and begin teaching him the things he needed to learn as a shifter man. When April meets the males, everything begins falling apart - both with the pack and with April and Sean. I loved reading this book and can't wait for the next one. Thank you. Good Paranormal Reading

I thoroughly enjoyed this paranormal tale. It had a very original storyline, with three alpha bears adopting a female wolf and her ten year old rebellious son. After some conflict over the slaughter of cows, the bears bargain with the beautiful mom to pay them for their cows with her son working off his debt by performing tasks around the ranch and mom obligated to date each bear at least once. My only difficulty with the story is romantic feelings are generated between the mom wolf and each of the bear brothers. Passion is very understandable, but love and romance were given very short shrift in moving the story quickly rushing to the end. Overall, I enjoyed the writing!

Hot and steamy.

Short but sweet. April and her son Sean faced hardships being on the run from an abusive ex husband. All the while Sean was coming into his abilities and not having a male to guide and help him control it. After an incident on their farm Ryder, stone and jack—triplet bear shifters take them under their wing to guide the boy and see if April could be their mate. Despite her and Sean being wolves. They all seemed to effortlessly click and even Sean seemed to flourish under their guidance and affection. Old ford return and its up to the new make shift family of 5 to band together. Loved show story had steamy scenes but also had a good plot with vengeful ex’s and crappy alphas.

Predictable formula

This is the third book I have read about the triplet harems, (not in order). They are fairly entertaining and chock full of escapism into a fantasy world of shape shifters, but very bok has the same formula so you know what is going to occur even before you have read the first page.
Each triplet, be he bear, wolf of tiger has the same characters. The same language and actions occur individually then together. The threat is over before it has even started and without any great detail.
The women always seem slightly on the trashy and needy side, why I don't know.
The only difference is the setting and names. Altogether an easy if rather predictable read.

Single mom wolf shifter and her 10 yr old son living all by themselves and the 10 yr old is unruley and sneaks out of the house and gets lost in the woods. Then he is caught killing cows and he does not even remember doing it. He lost himself in his wolf form. The cows he kills are owned by triplet bear shifter brothers. When the boys mom goes searching for her son she passes out and they find her. She finds herself strapped to a chair and they gag her to stop her from screaming until they can explain what is going on. They make a deal. I liked this story.

What a intriguing read with plenty of action, suspense, and steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end. I especially loved how the brothers came together to be the saving grace that April and her son needed. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. Great storyline, well-developed characters and an attraction that is off the charts. I enjoyed the banter between the main characters but really felt bad for the young cub, Sean, who is struggling with his abilities. The action and betrayal in this book also had me cheering for the heroes. I couldn’t put this book down and read it in one sitting. This is worth the read.

Danger

This book contains some mention of abuse which might be a trigger. That said I really enjoyed reading about true alpha makes that are willing to show their soft side. Men willing to step up and teach someone else's son how to be a man, because his father isn't capable, make my heart go pitter patter. They only thing I wish was different would be learning more about the lack dynamics and how they supported themselves and each other.

This is an excellent reverse harem shifter romance. It is well written and the story and characters were well developed. I loved the individual character personalities and their relationship dynamics. The story was excellent. It was action packed and was full of suspense, hot chemistry, intrigue, emotion and romance. I love this authors books and would highly recommend this one!!
