love of family

Hope has been working around the world for the last 4+ years helping out people that are less fortunate.
Nicholas comes to her aid after being an accident involving a hit and run.
He recognizes her as soon as she says her name but she doesn't recognize him.
They are ex-step-siblings since Nicholas' father dies. Hopes mom is now living in an assisted living facility.
Hope came home to take a new position within the company.
Because of her title and needing to be able to wine and dine possible donors, she doesn't think that a physical relationship is warranted at this time.
Nicholas has different ideas all together.
This story walks you thru the ups and downs of falling in love and believing that the relationship could be toxic to your career.
I enjoyed this story very much and it was very well written.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. After the death of his father, Nicholas is having to help pick up the pieces as his stepmother slowly wastes away fro  heart ache while Emma's daughter Hope is across the globe on a humanitarian mission with only calls here and there. Hope was returning home but is she prepared for just how far life away from her family has lead? The reunion had a slight set back when a crash leads Nick to the recuse, ouch talk about bad timing to flirt...well it had been years since they've seen one another. What they feel for the other was it worth the risk to either of them if it becomes known they are step-siblings? One is willing to risk it but is the other?
 Erik is a hilarious side dish with his humor at the crash scene.

This is exciting, intriguing, surprising, emotional, suspenseful and so much more. It keeps you reading and enjoying it. They are ex step siblings and both very involved with their jobs. He wants her and she wants him but hesitates for several reasons. I recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

There were so many typos and grammatical errors that I couldn’t stand it. Add to that the stunted and awkward writing and it was a DNF for me. A decent proofread would’ve done wonders for this book.
