I love Paranormal Romance, and this one was really well done. East & Cat are such an awesome couple/mates. I got this book free for signing up for the author’s newsletter, and I’m REALLY GLAD I did!!!! I’m enjoying her writing a lot. The Lone Wolf series is so so good!!!

I couldn't help but fall for Easton as soon as I began reading about his. He's the epitome of the brooding, bad boy, coming home to try to heal He doesn't want to be there because the memories are too much, and so little has changed. Running into Catherine wasn't something he planned on, but it was something that was inevitable. And how he changes when he's around her from the beginning of the story until the end becomes such a heartbreaking transformation. Cat was a strong woman with a tough attitude, but there's no way she can stand up to her past alone. That's where Easton comes in. And the fireworks between them are blazing.
I love this author's work. She takes us on such amazing adventures, constantly turning what could be a simple love story into something more, something I can sink my teeth into that makes it difficult to walk away and leave it alone. This one is another wonderful adventure that plays on the heartstrings. It leaves me looking forward to finding out what she'll write next.

The cover has me absolutely drooling over it!! It's gorgeous!! This was one unputdownable book!! Easton was very entertaining! He was a lot of fun to read about. He was a sad soul with a good reason to never have to return to his roots. He had a sad past and refused the pack life. His mate is one brave and sweet lady. She had a heart of gold and did the right thing with a cool collected manner. Together, they were explosive both in and out of the the sheets. Rudy was a fabulous character and he is the ultimate friend. This story was alluring and a page turner! Don't pass this by!!! Heather Hildenbrand is one of my favorite one-click authors because I always know that I'm going to love the new adventure she's going to take me on!!

Great story line and amazing character chemistry
A interesting beginning with Easton starting out and I love how this author did more than one POV so we got to also hear from Cat. It had some adventurous scenes and the romantic parts were epic. I loved Rudy who was the kind of friend I think we all need. It was pretty fast paced but I honestly didn’t think it made a difference because your so enamored with the story that you can’t wait for the next scene to play itself out in your head. A great HEA and another winner for this author.

An amazingly written story by Heather Hildenbrand. I couldn't put it down. A gripping supernatural romance with a twist ending.
I loved Easton's suave and caring attitude, he is a true swoonworthy heart throb. Most female characters are helpless damsels, but not Cat. She has a no nonsense stance on life and she doesn't have time to mess around. Another great character is Rudy. Oh Rudy, you are my spirit animal. You made me lol so hard.

Heather Hildenbrand is one of the few authors who can write a novelette and still make it feel like a full and complete story! I never feel like the it is rushed or that we don't get every emotion out of the characters. I loved this story! Easton and Cat are adorable and although there is a lot going against them including problems from the past, these two will fight for one another. I hope we get more from this world and the characters in future books.

Heather Hildenbrand quickly turned into a one click author for me and books like this one are the reason. As soon as I read the fight chapter I was hooked and flew through the pages. Easton is super sexy but with a dark past. Cat is a great MC she’s strong and has a great best friend. This book had me laughing so much my cheeks were hurting. I definitely recommend this book it’s definitely worth the read!

What an amazing and quick read it was. It was exactly what I needed to get me from a book funk! Since then I read 5 books already <3 and i love it!
Ms Hildenbrand has took me on a rollercoaster of emotion. She broke my heart and at the same time she glued it together.
I like the fact that the book is not only about romance. But there is more to it. Even though it’s a short story.

Great Read 💖
This is the second time I've read something by heather and she does not disappoint 👏 this was a great little standalone about high school sweethearts finding their way back to eachother. Throw in some drama with an ex who won't walk away from Cat and painful past threatening to make Easton run again they have to decide if all the risks are worth it a second time around...

Second chance romance!
It was raw and gives you all the heartfelt vibes! Loved it! Easton has had it rough and coming home was not what he expected -he ran away for a reason. Demons resurface and the only good thing is seeing his old sweetheart - the one he left behind. Pack with family drama, crazy ex-lover and a cool funny roommate! Must read!

Easton and Cat❤
So Easton, yum! Add Cat and Wow! These two have not sparks but flames. The baddies in this book really get what they deserve. I really enjoyed this story that I have actually read it twice now. I know it's a stand alone book but I wouldn't mind a follow up on Easton and Cat.

Sweet young love
Heather out did herself with this one.
The story changes the way you think of shifters and what a true mate means. I loved how the characters evolve and find their way, even if it isn't traditional.

A short, compulsive read! Plenty of heat, sexy werewolves and hilarious best friends. Easton and Cat had great chemistry and I loved Rudy, he was awesome!

I really liked it! There were some minor plot holes that I would've liked to be filled but other than that this is a good second chance romance. Definitely recommend.

I first read this book in an anthology. But when it is is own separate read it is nothing shy of amazing. There’s more to this story now that it is a standalone and I love it. From the start of the book until the ending I was captivated. As with all of Heather’s other books, I highly recommend this read! Get it now!
