There’s plenty of steam, misunderstandings, and plotting for all kind of purposes. Looking forward to what comes next in this great new series! And I loved the tie-in to Tasha’s Stargazer Alien Barbarian Brides series, and will definitely have to go back and read that series next!

I love it! It carries on from the Stargazer cruisers that had been lost. I had really enjoyed those stories. This one is fun too. A Terra girl, Juno, who has absolutely nothing wins a contest to the cruiser Stargazer II. It is called the Princess Package. She is given everything a princess would have from clothes to staying in the best suite. Only a few people know she is not a real princess. Zane, sees her coming out of the spa. She has gotten cleaned up, her hair styled & her make up done. She has been given some of her wardrobe so she has gotten dressed up in one of beautiful new gowns. She is beautiful. Plus she sets his mate bond into orbit. She is his mate. He asks to be her valet. He has been working in the in house grown forest. He as well thinks she is a true princess. Zane has one problem, he has been hiding out. He is Crown Prince of Agwithia. He has seen power turn people he has trusted corrupt & he doesn't want to become that. He decided to get out. Another man spots her on the way in. King Cassias, he needs money. Seeing her as well dressed as she is & seeing that she is staying in the cloud suite, he is sure she is loaded. He has noticed she seems to have a nice way about her. He plans to ask her to dinner & put a sob story to her ear. He is going squeeze as much as he can out of her. Zane knows who he is, what he is like. He has a pretty good idea about what he is up to. He insists to go with her to protect her. Zane goes to the dining room with her but Cassias has him sent to another table with his own man. Through the first drink on, He has told her of how his people are suffering. He can do nothing because his money is in hold by the one who took his throne from him, hinting here & there if someone could get him the money he might be able to save them. Out of no where someone attacks him. Which is unknown to everyone but him & few of his people there is staged, to soften her up more. Zane is there immediately to get Juno out of there & up to her room. She has seen he shifts, now. It is into a metal like man. She tells him how she needs to help her own people. Then she tells him she wants to sell her crown. It has to be worth a lot, & She could give it to Cassias to save his people. Then maybe he could help her people. He tells her he will see to it. He buys it, He doesn't want her to lose her crown. Because she is willing to give it up, he loves her more. The little wrist drone, BFF-67, goes to speak with him after he gives her the money. It lets it slip that she is from Terra. He calls the Captain to confirm it. It makes him think even higher of her now that he knows that she has nothing & is willing to sell her crown & give it to help other people. He wants to help her but to do that & claim his mate he will have to take his place as soon to be King on his planet. Juno meets with Cassias to give him the money from her crown. She thinks it is time to tell him the truth. After she gives him the money, she tries to explain about herself. When she tries to tell him there was something she wanted to tell him, he cuts her off telling her he already knows. The arrogant jerk, believes she is trying to tell him she is in love with him, when she was just going to tell him that she was not a princess of blood royal. Without letting her finish, she thinks he understands. She tries to ask for help & work for her people. Again he assumes too much, believing she is giving him her army. He decides they should marry, tonight, & unite their kingdoms. He plans to be a happy groom tonight, & an ecstatic widower the next spaceport they get off at! Juno still believing Zane is just a valet, seeing no other option, accepts. She would rather stay with Zane, the man she loves, but she has to help her people. She goes back to her suite & tells Zane she will be leaving with Cassias. She gets ready in the spa & getting her dress fitted while Zane is working in the forest again to try to work of his frustration. The Captain goes to ask him why he is letting his mate marry a man she doesn't love. Zane, hadn't realized that she was going to marry him! He goes to stop the wedding & fix things. When he gets there in time to stop it. Cassias finds out Juno was from Terra & is furious. She thought he had known. Zane tells everyone who he is, the Crown Prince of Agwithia, & Juno is his mate, if she will have him. She agrees. They get to talking later about her people finding work & help on his planet. The wedding set at a later date on the Stargazer II, allows him to secretly sneak her best friend Rose to the ship for the wedding. They are glad to see each other in person. After the wedding is finished he is to go & claim his kingdom. He will then start righting a few wrongs on his planet while getting her people there to find work to help them thrive.

I love it! It's fun reading about how Juno wins a contest to be the starship's princess. She meets a prince in hiding. It's Kind of like Cinderella in space, except she's trying to help her people find support from another planet. Zane, her prince, has found his mate, but to help her, he has to take the throne he doesn't want. He has seen too many good people corrupted by power he doesn't want to be like them. At first like the other King who is trying to win her favor, he doesn't know she isn't a real princess of blood royal. She thinks everyone knows & is just playing the part. The other king just sees the clothes & crown she was given by the starship captain & wants her money he believes she has. He plans to steal it from her & dump her at the next space port or marry her & become a very rich widower. When Zane is about to reveal who he is, her drone tells him Juno isn't really a princess & then goes to tell her what she did. Juno decides to give her some time to think about it & goes to give the King the money she has. She listened to his sob story about his people & to help him she aske Zane to sell her crown. He kept it & got some of his own out for what he thought it would be worth. She gives the King the money. He still believes she is a true princess. She tries to get employment for her people. She tries to explain that she isn't a real princess, he cuts her off. He believes she is going to say she is in love with him. He sets up their wedding for that evening. She thinks he knows about how it really is by what he says. Still thinking of the people she is to help she agrees. She tells Zane she is going with the King. The captain who knows who he is, finds him in the forest working. She tells him Juno is not just going with the King but marrying him. Zane goes to get her, he has every thing she needs, he is her mate. He stops the wedding & tells them who he is. When the King finds out she is not who he thinks she is, he is very angry. Zane explains everything when they get back to her suite. They plan the wedding & as she is getting ready, she gets a call from her best friend to let her know she is going to be there for the wedding. She is very happy to be able to see her. She also finds out he sent supplies & offer of jobs & passage already for her people. They get married in the park forest. It's a great story, I love it!

I enjoyed this story which was a bit like a fairytale with the hidden royal and the love who was a normal person. I enjoyed that we got to learn more about her homeworld and the plight of her people as well as the fact that he was hiding in order to stay alive and avoid an evil relative. The space station forest sounded great and it was an ideal place to be free and stay grounded while out in space. Well written and easy to read/understand. Contains sexual content.

A riveting action filled read, great characters and wonderful plot I thoroughly enjoyed
I have to say that I loved every moment of this book it had been written so well and I loved the care and attention that had been put in to the main characters Zane and Juno and the plot of the story which is very clever and very different. I guarantee that from the moment you begin reading you will not be able to put the book down until you reach the end and discover the outcome.
Although Juno and Zane are from two very different worlds, from different planets to be exact they still find that they have very similar feelings and emotions and want similar goals in their lives. Juno is in a dilemma and realises that there is nothing else for it he has got to take back his throne and rule his people so that they might live happy and contented lives.
I guarantee that you will not out this book down until you reach the end of the book and discover the final outcome.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Juno is impoverished with friends providing the best birthday present ever. She's going on a starship trip--the princess package! Her a princess? She doesn't know how to act being treated like royalty. She's meeting other royals and being taken care of by the most amazing man. Wouldn't ya know she'd like the servant and well, the royal, he isn't growing on her.
Life is amazing although she feels bad for her friends back on earth 4--how can she help them?
She doesn't know some deep secrets about the men she is around. Some good some bad -- really bad. Life-threatening bad.
Juno is an amazing woman despite her circumstances, she shows her true heart in wanting to help others. An example to a man who has given up on his place rather than fight to make it better. Is her influence enough to motivate him? Before she ends up...well better read for more.
Emotional, steamy, surprises--a good beginning to a series. I want more.

Absolutely Thrilling
WOW ! I really enjoy reading Tasha Black and of course she has another magnificent story to add to her amazing collection. The characters are as always captivating, emotional and unforgettable. As always I read through the night because I couldn't put my kindle down. I talked to the characters,, laughed out loud at them and they also brought tears to my eyes but through it all I had a thrilling experience while reading this story. If you need another marvelous book to read and add to your collection then you definitely want to read this book because as always this is one of the most thrilling experience that I have enjoyed and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

The contest is called a Princess cruise so they are going to make her a Princess while on her trip. clothing ,room, makeover everything to the point everyone thinks she is a real princess so much so that a king on borde the ship believes it. Zane is sort of hiding out on the ship he’s royalty but doesn’t want anyone to know. So he is working when he get a sent of Juno and knows she’s his mate. But he doesn’t know her secret of not being a princess but he doesn’t care. But that crooked king only wants her because of the money he thinks she has. So enjoy another good read!!

What a wonderful start to the series. Juno could not believe she actually won. She comes from one of the poorest of poor planets, Terra 4, and kind of like a joke her friends got together and bought her a ticket. Never expecting her to be the winner of a princess aboard a star cruiser. Aside from a few of the workers, everyone aboard this massive vessel believes she was a princess. Zane, a true prince of his people was hiding out from his obligations. Only a couple people knew of his true background. Otherwise he was here to work. Of course, then he met Juno. It is a wonderful love story, but it also has danger, deceit, and that one person you love to hate. But a really good happily ever after.

Juno is from a poor plant with honest hard working people who just want to feed their families. Juno wins the princess package space cruise aboard the Stargazer. Juno is assigned Zane as her valet, there is an instant spark but Juno needs to find royalty to save her people. The king Juno interacts with seems to be the answer to save her people. Everything is not what it appears, the king is not what he seems, Juno is not really a princess even though that is how she is presented on the cruise and her valet is so much more than a valet. I love this book, amazing story with wonderful characters.

Ms. Black does it again! ... I want to win a luxury cruise on this starship and be treated like a Princess, and maybe, just maybe, find a hunky alien of my own ;) “CROWNED MATE” is the 1st in a new spin-off from the fantastic Stargazer world! I loved this different plot, and the H/h, Juno & Zane’s chemistry is off the charts! The always clever dialogue & detailed descriptions breathe life into the relatable characters and the whole story comes to life in vivid color! So hold onto your seat for this wild ride! ... I honestly recommend this to Adult, 18+ fans of fiction!

Juno is sassy. She’s an understated beauty that comes from a planet that is in turmoil. Zane is hiding from his destiny due to fear. When circumstances throw them together, it has all the makings of a fairytale especially with a villain thrown in. Cassius thinks highly of only himself. He uses any means necessary to obtain what he wants including lies and subterfuge. Luckily, Zane sees what is going on and is there to step in. Zane has many surprises for Juno and they’re all good. You get to meet some old friends and make new ones in this story. It’s well written and worth the read.

I found it to be a sweet, heartfelt rags to riches story. A simple girl, Juno, from a poor, rough planet gets an unexpected opportunity to spend time on a luxury spaceship. After arriving she meets a male, Zane, who will be her valet believing her to be a princess. He is hiding from his royal destiny on his home world and surprised to find she is his blood mate. They will encounter challenges and even a conniving king while learning the truth about each other and their feelings. A quick moving story with a happy ending.

This was a slow burn love story but well worth reading. Juno won a special princess package on a exclusive cruise ship. All it took was one look for Zane to know how special Juno is. They are from two different worlds but had the same goals - each to better their people although it took Zane getting to know Juno for him to realize what he needed to do. He needed to return to his people and take the throne then he could help Juno's people at the same time. Things almost went astray when an evil king came into the picture but Zane had already won Juno's heart. A lovey happily ever after!!

Fairy tale with flourish!
It’s not every romance that touches the heartstrings but this story does exactly that. It is the stuff fairy tales are made of, with the winner of the chance to be a princess and ride in a magnificent and huge spaceship. In it she meets with a villain. And her Prince Charming. Of course there is a HEA. The loving and caring is sweet as mangoes. The passion, written deftly, is even more so. Absolute heaven to read!
It’s not every romance that touches the heartstrings but this story does exactly that. It is the stuff fairy tales are made of, with the winner of the chance to be a princess and ride in a magnificent and huge spaceship. In it she meets with a villain. And her Prince Charming. Of course there is a HEA. The loving and caring is sweet as mangoes. The passion, written deftly, is even more so. Absolute heaven to read!

Ah that was cute. Very fairy tale. Everyone mistakes her for a princess and her hero has the destined-mate-bond thing happen super quickly. This series has cameos from all the Stargazer Barbarians characters, which made me super happy.
Really cute, happy to see more of this side of Tasha Black’s universe.

What a sweet and romantic story. Juno won a trip to become a princess on a cruise ship. She is will do anything for her people. Zane is hiding from his responsibilities. But as he meets Juno, he knows what he needs to do. She might of pretended to be a princess but at the end she landed a King. I can't wait to read more.

I really enjoyed reading this book 📚 , it is filled with adventure, intrigue, and is action packed. The chemistry and interaction between the characters of Juno and Zane is wonderful. Love the humble heart of these two. Love that the one and only thing they both needed was right their for the taking, if they are brave and bold enough to snatch it. Love the mate concept and how it fuels determination without being arrogant. Can't wait to read what's or who's cruising next. This was a happy, sweet book about a pretend princess and a pretend commoner who fall in love. And it turns out their real roles are compatible too, especially when they talk things out! There is a slimeball involved, but of course he gets his comeuppance, and there is a beautiful wedding and HEA!

Refreshing
It's quite wonderful to read a book about people who have the same problems you do-even if they are royalty! Miscommunications on both sides, Juno is a pretend princess, while Zane is a real Prince pretending to be a valet.
But does it matter when true love is in the air? This book is a lot of fun and warm romance.

Sweet story. Does have the trap of bad communication causing most of the tension and plot. I loved that there were very alien aliens, though these were not main protagonists. I would like to see more of this universe, although I fear that all this author's stories follow the same formula of bad communication, docile women, and... dumbly noble men.

This book took me a long time to get through, to be honest it was a bit boring. Girl win grand prize pretends to be a princess one wants her for love the other money and power. The guy wants her for love is actually a prince. Not a lot of action, and not feel the chemistry between the two. But a happy ending at least.

A winner of a princess cruise, given a crown, and a valet/forest worker who is in disguise. Politics within the space cruiser. True mates found and true selves emerge. This is book 1 of a trilogy. Each book is a standalone romance and so much more but are so much better when read as a set. Bravo!!

Downloaded the book yesterday afternoon, took me about twelve hours to read , with stopping to eat and sleep. Can't wait to read the other two books in this series. The characters and storyline was well written . The misconception of her title was miss leading and made it even more interesting.

excellent premise for a plot!
I really enjoyed this novel. The characters were engaging and the plot was novel and interesting. I would have liked to see what happened next. Both the plot and the characters are strong enough to allow for at least another book. Try this, you’ll enjoy it very much!
