The Ellie Kline series by Mary Stone and Donna Berdel have written an amazing nail-biting, spine chilling series. The characters and each installment's plot drags the reader into the middle of the action, leaving the reader shivering and looking over their shoulder. I was hooked from the first page of the first book and on pins and needles waiting for the each installment.
The plot: Kidnapped and escaping when she was fifteen, Ellie Kline has wanted to be a police officer. Once an officer, It didn't take her long to be promoted to Detective, unfortunately, instead of investigating and solving active crimes, she finds herself relegated to the Cold Case files. While working the cold cases she searches for clues to her own unsolved kidnapping. Ellie is smart, tough and determined to solve each cold case that brings its own unique twist in depravity and danger to Ellie and her friends.
You won't be able to stop reading until all the Cold Cases are solved.

Mary Stone has done it again with Ellie Kline. Books 1 through 3 are wonderful with heroines Ellie Kline and her best friend Jillian. Ellie was kidnapped when she was 15 years old and escaped her kidnappers and death. She is remembering scraps of what happened but it haunts her especially after she discovered her kidnapper did not die. This event is what drew her to a career in the police department. Ellie makes detective and is in cold cases where she becomes best friends with Jillian and discovers pay offs and cover ups in the police department. Can she trust anyone? These books are an exciting rollercoaster ride from the first page. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Right from the start I knew I was hooked, after finishing the Winter Black series I started Ellie Kline and it hit me , Mary Stone had another hit in this new series and I am glad to see she has a lot of fans who think like me, personally I think if you are a fan of reading Allison Brennan or David Baldacci than you have to read the books written by Mary Stone, it is one book after another that is great to read from the first page to the last one, the story line is so well thought out. I can't wait until the next Ellie Kline is out

Wow! Talk about suspense! If you like mystery with twists and turns that you don’t see coming, read this set. Each one keeps you completely involved. Just when you think you have it figured out, a tiny little clue you missed turns the whole story upside down. I like the characters. Ellie is full throttle all the time. You’ll see an evil side to this world: but, those who fight that evil never give up. Can’t wait for the next book. This collaboration gets better and better!

Ellie Kline Series: Books 4-6 (Ellie Kline Series Box Sets Book 2) by Mary Stone, Donna Berdel is an amazing box set that I have had the privilege to read and give an honest review. This books four, five and six in this amazing box set that I have been hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about thriller stories.

This series is a nice fast paced read, with good character and settings building, as well as nice twists and turns throughout the plots. If you enjoy strong and intelligent main character women, and layered mystery reveals, then this series will be a good fit for your reading pleasure. Having completed reading books 1 - 3, I am looking forward to reading the next books in the series.

I was hooked from the very beginning of the Ellie Kline books. Ellie is trying to prove she IS cut out to be a police officer, not some snooty rich girl. Each book is filled with suspense and takes the reader on a thrilling, nail-biting story. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes mysteries. I have read every one of them so far.
