Reclamation

Rate this book
Ryan Evans has been caught with his pants down—literally. This footballer is known for scoring—on and off the field—but this time, he's in over his head. His take-no-prisoners publicist, Kennedy Cole, seems to think hiding out in Maine is the best solution but he's not going willingly.

Elodie Stewart is fresh off a divorce and busy running a thriving bed and breakfast in the small town of Lilac Harbor, Maine. The last thing she wants under her roof is a moody, broody, problem child player.

After a rough start, they discover a mutual attraction they can't ignore. The last thing Elodie needs after her failed relationship is a playboy hookup, and Ryan doesn't need the distraction. But, seclusion has a tendency to bring people together. And together, they just may find the reclamation they need.

A Sweet Heartwarming Story With Hotness, Cuteness and Swoon!
I loved Elodie & Ryan, DEVOURED this in 4hrs❤.

#My 1st by Evie, Hell yeah I'm gonna read more from her!

[NOTE: There aren't any Cameos by Salvation Series (By Corinne Michaels) boys, But we do see Lots of Kennedy Cole (Jackson's daughter!). She's Elodie's Bestie and Ryan's PR Specialist.]

Elodie, newly Divorced, is the owner of B&B in Lilac Harbor. She's sweet, Kind & Fun with Take-no-shits attitude! It's lovely how she Reclaims herself here (Yup, Ryan's a big help!).
Ryan, London Footballer + Notorious Playboy, Is in trouble: Photographed with his pants down-Literally. So Kenn sends him to her Bestie's B&B, away from the unwanted spotlight.
He's an asshole at the start, but with time, it's heartwarming to see him change into a better version of himself: Protective, Caring, Cute & Alpha!

Of course, he wasn't happy to be here at the start..But as days go by, He warms up to the calm life. Likes it even. The company (I.e. Elodie!) Is great too❤. Their alone time does wonders *wink*. Makes him crave this life, crave her. (She ended up being the one to change his playboy ways!)

Sparks were flying from the start, but it takes a weekend Bar visit to finally let them loose. To let the desire rule! *HOT*
Then, as weeks pass, they Fall for eachother.
Fun banters, Sexy times, Him working with her in B&B..

But the knowledge that he may be going away soon was hanging on them, & then the time for him to make a choice came..Stay OR Go?
And isn't it easy? We know what he'll choose! *Yay!* *Oh shit, DRAMA*

HEA doesn't come easy for them, but It COMES. I loved their cute meet-again! Their love Confession was so so sweet *Happy Tears*.
Her Family is awesome❤.

The epilogue was short but satisfying!
“I’ve found what love is in Lilac Harbor, Maine. It’s my reclamation.”

When Ryan, a London footballer, gets into some hot water with the the press and his team, his publicist, Kennedy sends him to hide out at her best friend's B &B in Maine. Elodie and Ryan don't make much sense on paper, but the sparks sure do fly when they meet. I really enjoyed this one. I thought these two just brought out the best of each other. It was just a very heartwarming story with great characters, and the side characters were just fun. It's been a minute since I read Corinne Michaels' Salvation series and I didn't feel lost so no worries if you haven't read them. I'm looking forward to what this author comes up with next!

Amazon US / Amazon UK / Amazon CA / Amazon AU

Ryan's known for soccer and his off the field shenanigans. Unfortunately, his latest scandal is one his publicist may not be able to get him past. So sending him to lie low at her best friend's B&B in the US is just the thing for now. He just has to remember to keep himself out of trouble, not to touch Elodie, his publicist's best friend, then in short time, he'll be back in London and back on the field. At least that's the plan...

Els has been through it. Now she's 35, divorced, surrounded by her family's legacy, with her brother Deacon by her side. Her heart, though, is not open for business. Or it wasn't until one rude Brit landed on her doorstep and eventually showed her his tender side. But their fling has an expiration date, so Els will allow herself some fun and nothing else. She refuses to allow her heart to be broken again by another man, so Ryan will have to remain strictly a no-strings fling who will remain a memory once he heads back to his real life in London. Right?

Els and Ryan make a great couple. I may have wanted a bit more relationship development, and a bit more time with them together, but all in all, I liked this sweet, sexy read. I definitely want to know more now about Els' brothers, Deacon and Callum, and about her bestie, Kennedy. I'm hoping stories for all of them will be coming soon.

Time for a tree change ... sigh

RECLAMATION ... WOW!!! Evie Graham ... I'll definitely be reading more from this author!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed RECLAMATION, it was fun, light-hearted, sexy and romantic. Ryan Evans is the bad boy of English football, and he has literally been caught with his pants down. Kennedy Cole, his PR person, has had enough and decides to get him out of the country and away from the spotlight of the press. Elodie Stewart, Kennedy's BFF, runs and B&B in rural Maine, it's the perfect place to hide Ryan. Elodie has had her own problems over the past year, but it's now time to reclaim her life and herself, and Ryan just might be the person to help her do this.

I must admit I didn't like Ryan to start with, he was self-centered ... a bit of an asshole. He didn't want to be in Maine, and it showed. The longer he stayed though, the more he changed, becoming tender, caring, helpful and a tad bit bossy ... but I loved it. Elodie was just the sweetest person ever, however don't let that fool you, she can be feisty when she needs to be. Together, Ryan and Elodie are perfect, but what will happen when it's time for Ryan to return to England? Will he stay where he has found peace, or will he return to the hustle and bustle of London life?

RECLAMATION will certainly put a smile on your face, and have you sighing with the things Ryan does for Elodie. I look forward to reading more from Evie Graham.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author, and she did not disappoint! I have been a long time fan of Corinne Michaels and her Salvation series so the Salvation Society books have been a great way to hang out, albeit loosely, with the Salvation world.

Ryan and Elodie were the epitome of opposites in every way. He lived in the spotlight; she in the background. But, when Ryan gets in trouble, his publicist Kennedy, best friend to Elodie, gets him out of London and into Lilac Harbor at Elodie’s Bed and Breakfast. Oh this slow burn romance! I liked the characters and how they tried to deny their attraction to each other. The characters learned so much about themselves as well as how to love self without other’s opinions intruding.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

Ryan is a football player who is becoming more known for his off-field antics rather than his play on the field. He has been sent to Maine, not by choice, to spend some time at a Bed & Breakfast owned by the friend of his PR rep until the scandal dies down.

While Elodie tries to heal from the demise of her marriage she has been managing the family’s Bed & Breakfast. Having an arrogant athlete who is not only there under duress but is well aware of his appeal to women is a complication she could do without.

Although Ryan and Elodie live very different lives they have a way of challenging each other and not only do the sparks fly but they realize what is truly important in life and that is each other.

Reclamation (The Salvation Society) by Evie Graham is the first book I have read from this author and I look forward to reading more of her work. I really enjoyed Elodie and Ryan’s story. They are two complete opposites who have a chemistry that leads to a really sweet romance that neither one expected. I loved how they learn that when you find that right person it heals something inside you that you never knew you needed. These two bring out the best in each other and this book will leave you smiling. I highly recommend this read!!

I suggest reading the Salvation Series by Corinne Michaels before reading books in the Society, but it is not a requirement.

Key Points for this story in the Salvation Society Collection:
- Contemporary Romance
- EU Bad Boy of Football
- Divorced Innkeeper
- Salvation Series connection is Jackson and Catherine from Belonging Duet

So this was my first read from Evie Graham and I wasn't disappointed at all. Evie wrote a very sweet and romantic story. This book is definitely light and leave us satisfied. Yes there is connection to Corinne Michaels' Salvation Series but it also stands alone on its own. Most definitely worth reading it. Thank you Evie for writing an amazing story.

Lilac Harbor is becoming one of my favorite places to visit. Evie Graham has created a beautiful place where we know happily ever afters are being lived out as we get to know new people. We meet Ryan and Elodie, Ryan's agent, and Elodie's best friend being the connection to Corrine Michaels' world. Reclamation was such a sweet story with loveable characters and low angst.

Ryan is the bad boy of the soccer/football premier league in the UK and has pulled one too many stunts---and ends up suspended until the scandal dies down. Elodie is fulfilling a dream and a family tradition running her family's bed and breakfast in Lilac Harbor. Ryan's agent decides Ryan should get out of the country and sends him to Elodie. He's a bit nasty, to begin with, but discovers there's more to life than "footie" as he calls it. I loved the way all through the story; you can see Ryan fitting in at the B&B seamlessly. Not only can you see him fitting in, but you can also see him re-aligning his life priorities. There's more going on but---spoilers.

Reclamation is a lovely story set in Evie Graham's world that brings in Corrine Michaels' world beautifully. I hope we can see more connections in the future. Ryan and Elodie are a lovely match and a swoony HEA.

I really enjoyed this story. The author did a brilliant job with a well paced storyline, enticing characters and the perfect amount of romance, heart and steam. It is one story you can easily read in one go as you wont want to put it down once you start it.

Ryan is a playboy Football player in the UK that likes to keep his publicist Kennedy on her toes. After a scandalous night out he is suspended and sent to Kennedy's best friends B&B in the USA to lay low and try to stay off the presses radar.

When he arrives at the B&B he expected to be bored and was not sent there without a fight but he didn't expect Elodie. She is sweet, sexy and feisty, she keeps him on his toes and opens up his eyes to what he really wants in life, to make him question his future. The chemistry between them was off the charts hot and sweet and I honestly loved watching it blossom into a beautiful relationship.

My only criticism is that i wish the author had researched the UK currency as she refers to it as Euros instead of pounds and when he refers to how much money he makes (when he's talking) as dollars but as a brit he would say 'I make millions of pounds'. I know it doesn't seem much but as Brit it can be slightly annoying :-(

That said this series is a fantastic way to be introduced to new authors and I will be seeing what else this author has written.

Ryan is a playboy British football player, who is caught quiet literally with his pants down, and his long suffering no-nonsense publicist decides to send him to rural Maine, which is where her best friend Elodie lives and runs a B & B, and this is the perfect place to hide him and get him out of the county and into seclusion and away from the press and being in the spotlight. Elodie is sweet and feisty when she needs to be, and is newly divorced, and the last thing she wants is another relationship in any shape of form. Ryan is broody and moody when he arrives, but they both soon realise that they have a mutual and undeniable attraction. What will happen when Ryan needs to return home to the UK for his career? No spoilers: this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written flawless story which is sweet, light-hearted, well-paced, and is an emotional and heart-warming tale. This talented author has done a fantastic job in penning this tale which I recommend for all readers.

Every book that I read by Ms. Graham just gets better and better! First off, I just love the world that Ms. Graham has created in Lilac Harbor.

This is the story of Elodie (love the name) and Ryan.

The pace of this story is spot on and the chemistry between Elodie and Ryan is hotter than Hades!

I empathized with Elodie, after everything she has been through with her ex, her vulnerabilities were raw and her heart was bruised but not broken. She shelters herself in the running of her family's B&B in Lilac Harbor. When Ryan becomes an unwilling guest, sparks fly.

Ryan's life has spun off the rails and when he arrives in Lilac Harbor, he is not happy. But then the town and Elodie soothe his soul and it was lovely to read.

This story seamlessly blends into the world created by Corinne Michaels and is a wonderful addition to it!

Bad boy Ryan is a huge soccer star well football where he plays at. He is at the top of his game and nothing can get him down. However he's messed up one to many times and it's time for him to take a break when he get's suspended. His publicist sends him to a B & B ran by her best friend Elodie. Elodie totally love her name and her character. She's a hard worker, loves her family, and takes care of everyone. When she meets Ryan of course she looses her breathe, but she has a business to run and he's a grumpy man that makes her want to smack him. Ryan realized that Elodie is more than she seems when they get to know each other it is so sweet and when he starts helping well he's just as yummy. But when reality comes and he has to leave what will happen then? It's so good to read this story and fall in love.

I adored Reclamation! Evie Graham's writing gets better and better with every book I read from this new author. Her stories are engaging and sexy and each has uniquely fun characters. Reclamation focuses on Elodie and Ryan, two completely opposite characters brought together under unlikely circumstances. I loved Ryan's evolution. Seeing him grow and blossom with the right woman was refreshing. Together these two just made sense despite their differences. Graham made me believe wholeheartedly that these two characters belonged together and I loved every second of it! I hope we'll get to see more of the secondary characters in this book as well because they were awesome! 4.5 stars

Evie Graham is a new author to me. Ryan is a bad boy “football” (aka soccer to those us use in the US) star who is managed by Kennedy Cole. To get him away from the bad press, she sends him to her best friend’s B&B in Maine. Elodie has been burned by her ex husband but is happy running her family’s B&B. When Ryan and Elodie meet, they have instant sparks, but neither is looking for anything serious. I enjoyed this books. It was an easy, sweet read. This is part of the Salvation Society (connected to Corinne Michaels Salvation Series), but unlike one of the other books in the society that I read, the connection is pretty loose. That being said, I would definitely recommend this book and look forward to reading more of her work in the future. (Especially if Kennedy and Deacon get a story!)

The second set of releases for The Salvation Series are here! In Reclamation by Evie Graham we get a delightful read that will leave you smiling. Ryan Evans’s publicist has had enough of him. Once he makes headlines again and not for the good of the team, she sends him away to her friends B&B to regroup and get his act together. He does not want to be there. Elodie Stewart is just out of a relationship and starting over. The last thing she wants is to have the temperamental Ryan under her roof. But as time passes, they cannot deny their chemistry.

Reclamation by Evie Graham was charming and sweet. Ryan and Elodie’s journey was not easy, but I loved watching them fall.

Evie Graham is a new to me author, and I really enjoyed Reclamation a lot. Ryan is a British footballer (in America it's known as soccer), with a bad boy reputation. His latest stunt had him banished to Maine at a Bed & Breakfast, and there was nothing he could about it. Elodie is running the place, and since she's trying to get past the end of her marriage, she really doesn't need the complication of a playboy athlete who doesn't want to be there. Despite being complete opposites, the sparks are flying, and since they're in close proximity to each other, it won't be too long before those sparks ignite. I really wanted it to be a bit longer, but it is a delightful way to spend an afternoon! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Reclamation by this new to me author is part of C.M.'s The Salvation Society.
Ryan Evans is a british soccer star, who's greatly enjoying his single life. Scandals follow him everywhere and he doesn't really care. But enough is enough and he has to lay low for a while. What better place than rural Maine in fall. He takes quarters at a B&B.
Elodie Stewart manages the B&B and it's attraction at first sight for both of them.
Reclamation is a well written story, a slow burn, low on drama and I liked it. Only I couldn't find the connection to the Salvation Series. Somehow I must have miss something.

Evie Graham is quickly becoming an automatic, one-click author for me. I also want to move to Lilac Harbor. Or at least stay in the B&B that is featured in this book.
This book is a part of the Corinne Michaels' Salvation Series, though you don't have to read any of the other prior books as this is a complete standalone.
The story of Ryan, a hot British football star, and Elodie was a sweet, yet steamy, perfectly paced story. They both had issues to work out and I loved the moments when they both found themselves.
This is a light, easy read that will leave you more than satisfied (in many ways). And wanting to move to Lilac Harbor.

Reclamation - A very sweet story with relatable characaters! I absolutely love the quiet setting of the B&B in a small coastal town. I would love to spend a week there with the fantastic cooking and ocean views. Elodie is the owner of the B&B that Ryan's agent had set him up in to hide out. He is a playboy Soccer player who has been in the press too often for his behavior. He is not in the best of moods and with a cranky attitude when he arrives in Maine. It's more of a slow burn romance but loved reading their story!

This book is part of the salvation society books but you do not need to read The Savlation Series by Corrine Michaels to enjoy this book!

This is such a fun and easy read.  If you've read this author before, we get to travel back to Lilac Harbor and get Elodie's story.  If you haven't visited Lilac Harbor before then you are in for a real treat.  The chemistry between these two is sizzling, and they are both so endearing.  This author writes these characters in such a way that you want to be friends with them in real life.  I definitely want to go visit the B&B and meet all these people and have a drink.  This is a quick and light hearted read.  You will just feel good after reading it. This author is definitely earning a position on my one-click author list!

Loved this one

I have to be honest..I haven’t liked most of the books on this series. I started many of them and I never got past the first few chapters. But this one pulled me in from the very beginning. I read this one in one sitting— I couldn’t put it down. I absolutely loved Elodie and I could totally see how Ryan couldn’t help but fall in love with her. Even though he started out as a self absorbed cocky playboy, he totally grew on me because he became so much more likable as he fell in love with Elodie. This was just such a sweet love story and I loved everything about it. I really hope we get a book about Kennedy and Deacon!

When I picked up this book I really want expecting much. I’ve been binge reading a lot lately and had some sort of reader’s block. Also this is my first novel from this author.
I was pleasantly surprised though. This isn’t another story about a playboy that sleeps with multiple girls and adds the female lead to his list then starts developing feelings after multiple nights together. Nope. Eloise and Ryan’s story is different. It’s relatively slow paced and the feelings start before they even know it.

It was such a beautiful story and Ryan’s character development was interesting to follow.

I’ll be reading more form this authooooor

This was such a sweet story of second chances in love and in life. Eloide is newly divorced and is working on herself and her dream job running her family's B&B. I loved how she knew exactly what she wanted and couldn't be talked out of it or how no guy could make her walk away. She is a strong character that is so easy to fall in love with. Ryan was escaping the fame and fortune of being a professional athlete and I loved how he figured out what he wanted from life! Together Ryan and Elodie were great for each other and I couldn't put this book down!!

I didn't realize two things, this is was a novella and that the link to salvation series is very small.

I enjoyed that Elodie led a "simple" life but was so happy to be where she was with her family. Ryan had all he thought he wanted, yet was lonely in a crowded club. Els and Ry found what they needed in the simplest ways and it bloomed to something special. Right when I was enjoying the results of the journey, it ended. It was a sweet story by a new author. I would loved for it to be a bit longer, but I enjoyed the fresh start.
