A little disappointed. I would have liked it more if it had been a case of nature's revenge. It wasn't a bad story and was a short one. I thought the characters were a little underdeveloped. I think the story of a dark, deadly back road could have been much more creative than this was. Not bad but not great.

Whoa! What a reader's hook! At first I thought, is this an instance of "Nature fights back?" but then as the story continues, "Oh my! What is really happening on this isolated road?" The story could have taken any of many different paths from that point. High drama and high tension render a frightening tale with a strong "What If?" factor.

Doomed Road

Tom Coleman has done it again. I enjoyed reading his box set Horrors Next Door and was very thrilled to learn about his new story. Roadkill is a quick read. It is fast paced, scary with overtones of the supernatural and has an unbelievable ending.

This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuousluy.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.

I enjoyed reading this story but wish it was a little longer... It is a great premise as roadkill on a highway lures travelers to stop and being the next "roadkill". A murder has occurred here in the past. Is the murderer back again? I loved Detective Lance who was leading the investigation. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

Absolutely great short mystery.

Roadkill....🤔 as short story with large characters. Suggested reading. The ending is was a twist for me. Had me trying to figure out the outcome.😍

A good short story with a pretty good twist. All set around a road where there is always roadkill. Whatever you do just don't stop to investigate......
