Scorching-hot taboo little story. I enjoyed it a lot. It's well written, well paced, and so hot! :-)
I enjoyed it very much. It's about a cop who is in the middle of a cartel investigation which adds an extra thrill to the controversial attraction he feels towards his daughter's best friend. He's quite demanding and I liked that he claims her with such good-rough power. Mila is sweet and determined at the same time. She's trying to come through a bad spell in her life and finds herself secluded on a beach condo with this hunk of a man she cannot resist. They have pretty hot encounters made all the hotter because at the begining they are unsure and trying to steer away from the taboo. He's also much older than her and quite bossy.
I enjoyed the gworing intensity of the couple's steamy times, and the danger Roman's job poses in their lives.
Roman and Mila agree to a fling, yet everything becomes much more passionate, primal and emotional than they expected. Yay! I love it when that happens.
Romantic and sensual, good combination. This is the first part of a novella trilogy. I'm definitely going to read the rest :-D

Devour Me is a quick read of a woman getting attached to her best friends father. The attraction has been brewing for 4 years, an attraction they both tried to hide from avoid. Circumstances bring them together and they can longer fight it.

The reason I read this, is because Nichole Rose is Ayden K Morgan, and NR plans on re releasing a 'no cheating between MMC' version of this story she is calling "Mister Gregory". I love Nichole Rose, so I could not wait a month to read "Mister Gregory", so I got the original to read. I never read any of her books as Ayden K Morgan, but I love Nichole Rose, and I could not wait. What a mistake that was. This was a miserable read, I hated it!

Mila is Talia's roomate, and she met Roman Gregory (Talia's dad), when they moved in their dorm room. The book starts with her crying because she caught her boyfriend bangin' her boss. Mind you they met and had a two year relationship AFTER she met the hero and fell in love/lust with him (it changes how they say they felt for each other through this sage, sometimes is he fell half in love, sometimes they say that since they met in the dorm they were it for each other, which is bullshit). Talia tell her to get some no strings attached sex, and she is considering it (not with the hero, but with anyone).
She goes to the hero's beach house until she finds another place to live and work, but Talia didn't tell her dad she was there, so he was surprised, got a hard on, and one drunken night, she offers a no strings attached, two week fuck fest. She isn't looking for a relationship, just wants to get off (even though she fantasized about the same man and later in this saga says she loved him the moment she met him...ok.) He agrees thinking it would be stupid to refuse when a woman offers that, so the man slut says yes, especially since he had a hard on for he for 4 years. He knew that she was dating a guy and even met him, but it didn't seem to bother him that she had a boyfriend. He was glad they broke up. It bothered him whenever she would bring him up though, that 's when you get the jealous Roman. During their relationship they hide it from Talia, and in the second book Talia finds out about her dad and best friend, so there is drama with them later. Roman is an agent trying to bust the cartel head by Guerrero and his men, and their string of crimes. The hero is the most disgusting man whore I have come across in recent memory. The way he talks about having had other women and how he likes to be fucked made me gag. Here are some quotes that will describe him well and turned me off,
Quotes,
"I've wanted Mila for four damn years. And for four damn years, I've fought it, refusing to go there. But a man can only take so much.
I've always taken what I wanted, who I wanted, and I've never felt guilty about it. Getting pussy isn't a problem when you wear a badge. It's practically thrown at you."
Quote,
"I've always had stamina. I've always loved to fuck. Nothing else calms me down quite like pussy and the slap of skin on skin. I love everything about getting lost in a tight little body."
Quote, (This is what he tells her on the first date)
"Oh. What were you into?"
He eyes me for a minute. "Fucking," he says bluntly.
I blink at his candor and he shrugs.
"I wasn't a good kid, Mila." He isn't upset or embarrassed about his past. He's just telling me the truth. "I slept around. I smoked pot, fought, and raised all kinds of hell."
What a prince. *gag* There is tons of fucking in the book and them talking, it is really mostly them having sex mostly. They talk about her ex, he hides what he does for his job and it is just them in the beach condo making use of this arrangement. The sex would have been hot had it not been cheapened by this stupid offer. I was bored because to me without love between the characters well established, the sex is just lukewarm, and since this was just fucking it felt cheap. All the OW comparisons and him inner monologuing about fucking other women while he's balls deep inside her, saying what he liked and didn't like just made me mad so the read was dreadful. Nothing noteworthy happens , that is the end of book 1 and book 2 "Destroy Me" is next. Was not looking forward to it, but I needed to sate my curiosity, and besides the first two books are short. I hated it, I do not recommend it and I CANNOT believe Nichole Rose (Ayden K Morgan) wrote this. I am so scared of the re release, I hope that Nichole Rose changes most of it and Nichole Rosifies it. Making the hero NOT a man whore, no OW comparison talk and fucking pussy talk, no cheating heroine, no cheating hero ...yuck. Onto book 2.

Ayden K. Morgan is another new author to me and I am so glad that I was able to read her serialized books about Mila and Roman. Those two together are scorching-hot and enticing. This is not a slow paced romance. I really enjoyed that part. I typically don't read serialized novellas, I do happen to love series though, which technically is almost the same thing. Anyhoo on to the review.
At the beginning of the book Mila finds herself without a place to stay when she finds her d-bag of an ex screwing someone else. Her best friend Talia suggests that she stay at her fathers condo since he will not be living there so a few months (his job is in another city miles away). The funny thing is about this situation is that Mila has always had a crush on her best-friends father, but he has felt the same thing for her. During this time Roman, Talias father has to take some time off from, as he is undercover agent. I am sure you can guess why.
They find themselves lusting over each other despite their best efforts to not give into the urges they have. In time they agree to have a friends-with-benefits relationship, which makes their connection explode into the bedroom and other various places.
What I really liked was that Mila wasn't described as some dimwit college girl. She has a backbone and I love strong female characters. She challenges Roman in ways he's not used to, she's also a curvy girl, not some skinny stick figure. Roman being a cop is very intimidating and physically fit but his don't-give-a-damn attitude is something I like in a hero. I don't particularly like man-whore hero's. Though if its a author I love then I can over look that part. But Roman isn't a man-whore thank god.
You'll love the way their growing attraction becomes so much more than either expected or has experienced. It's a good sensual ride and I do suggest that you read the entire series. I will be reviewing the other parts soon.

What an enticing read! Roman’s and Mila’s chemistry sizzles off the pages and leaves you wanting more, more, more.
Having graduated from Berkeley, Mila suddenly finds herself homeless and without a job, thanks to her cheating boyfriend and boss. Her best friend Talia offers for her to stay at her father’s Santa Cruz condo, since he’s hardly there anyway, while she sorts things out. What Talia doesn’t know, is that Mila has harbored a crush on said father since they met.
Roman unexpectedly needs to take some time off and heads to his condo in order to clear his head. Imagine his surprise when he finds his daughter’s friend staying there. The same friend he’s been lusting after for four years…
After a rocky start, they come to a mutual agreement regarding their shared time at the condo. This allows them to give in to their mutual attraction, no strings attached. Their connection is explosive, and they’re nearly insatiable. Those scenes are very satisfying to read.
Of course, there’s an age difference, but Roman was quite young when Talia was conceived, so he’s still in his late thirties. He’s described as imposing and intimidating, both physically as well as in personality. Enough of his appearance is described to paint a vivid and mouth-watering picture. I think you’ll all want a bit of Roman when reading this book.
I liked how Mila isn’t described as some typical skinny college girl. For one, she’s curvy, and comfortable in her skin. She’s got dreams and ambitions, as well as hang-ups stemming from past experiences. She also doesn’t simply submit to Roman, just because he’s older and more experienced. She challenges him and makes her own choices. All of this makes her more relatable, and as such, likeable.
Over the first few days of their arrangement, both Roman and Mila realize their feelings run deeper than mere lust. It takes them a while to voice this, and I look forward to finding out what happens next.

OMG! Be warned this is one hot, sexy novella that might set you or your eReader on fire. Ms. Morgen had my attention throughout the entire read and I can't wait for the next story in the series. Poor Mila loses her boyfriend, her place to live and her job all in one swoop, when she catches her boyfriend and boss in bed together. She packs up her things and goes back to the apartment that she shares with her best friend to regroup, but she can't stay there long as her friend is moving and they have already let the apartment go. Talia then gives Mila the key to her dad's house and says that Mila can use it because her dad is on a big case and won't be there. Mila reluctantly agrees because she has nowhere else and she really hopes that Roman doesn't show up because she has had a crush on Talia's smoking hot father for four years.
Roman is an undercover ATF agent who because his newest case blows up in his face and almost gets his partner's wife and young son killed, now has to lay low for awhile until things are sorted out. So he goes to his off the grid condo and finds an unexpected house guest in Mila, his daughter's sexy best friend and the girl he has lusted after for four years.
What happens between these two is for mature readers and you won't want to miss a word and you might need a cool place to devour them in.

Great start to the series...........long simmering lust
Devour Me by Ayden K. Morgen is definitely a wonderful read and a hot, panty melting story.
Mila and Talla are best friends. Talla's dad, Roman, is a very hot DILF who Mila has a major crush on. It seems Roman as more than a few inappropriate feelings in different parts of his body for little Mila. Yep this is a older man/younger woman and best friends dad book but it has more going to it than that in regards to the story-line.
Now it is several years later and Mila is 22 years old and Roman 38 years old, had Talia as a teenager. Roman is taking some time off work and heads to his condo for a bit of alone time. Well she is more than surprised when he finds that Mila is also there as he did not know about it. So Mila and Roman now find themselves in the condo all by themselves for a couple of weeks and what to do. Well some things come to light and they end up in a horizontal position, actually in more positions than that, but they both know it can never be more than a fling. Or can it.
Devour Me is the first book in the Her Best Friend's Father series which spans three books. So there are a number of supporting characters that are introduced or discussed in this first book. Additionally, Devour Me does end with a cliffhanger that will be picked up in the next book.

Devour Me is the first book in the Her Best Friend's Father series which spans three books. So there are a number of supporting characters that are introduced or discussed in this first book. Additionally, Devour Me does end with a cliffhanger that will be picked up in the next book.

Consumed and Complete
OMG the heat in this sizzling, forbidden Best Friends father’s Series blew all other books in this trope through the window! A much deserved 5 star read by this fantastic author. The chemistry between Roman and Mila was my undoing never mind Mila’s! Fantastic storyline with just the amount of intrigue and suspense to keep you turning the pages, I can’t wait for the next in the series! Talia, Mila’s best friend gives her the key to her dad Roman’s condo, as Mila is homeless, without a job and she needs to sort her life! Mila found her boyfriend of 2 years Damien in their bed with Mila’s boss Lizette. Where does she go from here? The gorgeous, sexy intimidating cop Roman is all Mila has fantasised about for 4 years. Will his filthy mouth be her undoing and can Roman keep his hands of this forbidden woman? Will their 4 year fantasies collide? Can he also keep her and his daughter safe from the Mexican drug cartel?

I loved this book. You are drawn in right from the beginning and you are on the edge of your seat till the very last word. This well written story has it all drama, suspense, off the charts chemistry, family. You will not put it down. It is about Mila and her best friend's dad Roman. She has been in love with him for as long as she can remember, but when ever they are together he ignores her. She thinks he wants nothing to do with her, but that is the complete opposite. Roman and wanted Mila for ever but she is his daughter's best friend so she is off limits. Also he works is dangerous, he works undercover for the DEA and he will stop at nothing to keep his girls protected. Roman is the sexy alpha older male and he will have Mila. A must read. This is the first book from this author and it will not be the last. I can' wait to read what happens next.

I believe this book is the first one I read from this author and it won't be the last.
I really enjoyed the book. Insta-love is not my favorite type of romance particularly an age gap one probably because I can't relate and it's not realistic or believable. The only thing I would change is remove the sentences that says something like "since I met you" particularly when the characters refer to strong feelings, example: when Mila says she's belonged to him since they first met. I'd believe and attraction, I'd believe after spending 2 weeks or even several days together that she could say something like that but not from the first day they met.
Having said all that, the book is well written, I enjoy the story,the suspense, the chemistry between Roman and Mila, how the relationship is developing and of course the smoking hot sex scenes.
I can't wait to read what happens next.

Review for all 4 novellas:
This book was surprisingly good and had pretty good writing
It wrapped up nicely and was evey HEA but then again I was in the mood for that so it didn’t bother me
The romance and steam was very well done, super hot and sensual and written well.
So yeah, an overall surprisingly hot, sweet romance read. I loved the added taboo factor, really added an extra spice to the books.
Though I don’t like how the fourth novella was like a mini sequel to another book by her that I hadn’t yet read. It seemed kind of forced to thrust these new characters and plot points on readers who hadn’t yet read that book. So that was a bit disappointing. I had no intention on reading a whole other book to get the most out of the ending to the book I was currently reading. The author should’ve just kept them seperate.
That’s why I didn’t end up finishing the 4th novella.

To me, it was a great read, and I would recommend it to anyone that likes very, very steamy romances! The only thing that I found in the book that I didn't care for was the cliffhanger after not nearly enough pages! But that always happens with Novellas in a short series;) !

An incredibly sexy and intensely entertaining romance read that will have you begging for more. Mila has escaped to her BFs dad's (Roman) beach condo only to find herself captured by him in the best possible ways. An attraction they have both been fighting for years can't be fought any longer and what starts out as a two week proposed fling will turn into more, but how much more and how will their relationship work once the real world invades their beach condo? I hope the next books will answer some of these questions. A captivating story from the very beginning!

If you need a quick read that features a strong alpha and a strong-willed woman, then look no further! This is the book for you. The chemistry between the Mila and Roman burn the pages up. A forbidden attraction between a woman and her best friend's father - we're talking total DILF - and you have the makings of a steamy, electrifying romance that leaves you aching along with the characters. I'm looking forward to diving into book 2. Ayden has a way with words, and this book is proof of that.

This is a wonderful older man, younger woman romance!
I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major two characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night!

Omg y'all, if it weren't for the full time job and toddler I have, I would've read this in one sitting! Amazing, captivating story. I'm in love with the characters and cannot wait to read what happens next!!! 100% recommend!!

Ayden consistently writes books full of passion! I was absorbed from the very first word-I couldn’t put it down! The chemistry was immediately apparent and the scenes were hot! Readers will be enthralled from the beginning and crave more at the end.

Heartwarming with lots of tension and steamy. Expected a short erotic romance but I was positive surprised about the details and the great story. Awesome written with lots of heart. Beware it's only book 1

I didn't know this was a serial before I started reading it. I thought it was a short story. It ticks me off when authors do this.
