I’d be so pissed if that happened to me. I’ve spent almost nine years working ten to twelve hour days to establish a business, pushing vacations and future plans to … someday. I’ve yet to really live and being abducted and almost dying isn’t on my bucket list.
Amy’s returned with a “mate”, telling me he’s immune to all illnesses—and now she is too. She demonstrated her new disappearing act, swearing she’s “phasing” into another dimension and saying every time she does, her body resets to perfect health. I’m super jealous since I’ve lost so many loved ones to cancer, starting with my father when I was only a child.
I want someone that can’t get sick. Someone who can take care of me for a change. I’m exhausted from the daily grind.
When Mavin’s partner Trus shows up, Amy’s sure we’re mating compatible, but the timing couldn’t be worse. There’s a new virus everyone’s talking about, and people panic as businesses shut down. Only my business explodes, and my training efforts to lighten my load are not panning out.
But I’m done waiting for the stars to align to enjoy my own happiness! I’ll create my own future—now.
Trus My best friend found a mate in a food pen!
All my life I’ve held my breath and hoped I’d see my friends again. As a Sinth Guardian, it’s not unusual for someone to enter their dimension and never return. We get worn down, giving up on life due to loneliness.
In an effort to make sure Mavin doesn’t disappear forever, I back him up, accepting the same punishment on a backwater planet called Teleplay. The alien planet is being mined for its resources and not habitable for many species. You can imagine our surprise to see Earth humans in the food holding pens.
When I confirm that Mavin has stolen the female Earth species from the pen and mated with her, I’m shocked—and excited! A mate means company and a potential family.
Gathering information about who’s responsible for the Earth species arrival on Teleplay, I work with the Sinth Sovereignty, Taxin and Ashen alien species to get to the bottom of the Human’s abduction. Trailing suspects and spying from my dimension, I know that finding my own mate shouldn’t be a high priority. But when I meet someone who’s mating compatible, how can I not want to get to know her?
But those distractions can be deadly. New technology I’ve never seen before threatens the future for everyone, and now I have more to lose than ever before.
PLEASE NOTE: This SciFi Romance alien book contains Adult Language and Steamy Adult Bedroom Scenes. It is intended for 18+ Readers & Adults Only.
It's part of a science fiction romance series but can be read as a standalone story with no cliffhangers!
I love to write about the same genre I love to read... Science Fiction and Romance go hand in hand in my mind! Right now, I can’t imagine writing anything else. From earth to the stars, I’m always thinking about what if… Now I'm writing full time... Spinning tales from my back porch to you.
Amy was on her way to help her AFAM friend Jen who was nursing her husband through his 2nd round of cancer when she was abducted. Amy and Mavin make it back to earth just in time to be with Jen at her husband’s funeral. Mavin needs to see Trus and thinks this would be a good place to meet his work partner since neither know earth.
When Trus first arrives and sees Jen he is drawn to her and is very surprised she can see him. Mavin tells him that means Jen is probably his mate. When he finds out the funeral is for her previous mate, Trus then believes Mavin must be wrong. He decides that even if Jen is his mate he would leave and give her time to grieve.
Amy decides these two need to be together and schedules a surprise meeting. At the BBQ they admit they have been thinking about each other. Mavin talks them into seeing if Jen really can see Trus when he phases. Jen runs away after the phase to his dimension proves she is his mate. Jen is unsure about mating after Ken’s death. She’s also worried about what Ken’s family would think of her dating so soon, especially with a male they would think was a white man.
Trus goes back to investigating Amy and the others human’s abduction. However, he keeps an eye on Jen by watching her from a particle phase. After a difficult separation They finally mate, but soon have a misunderstanding and Trus flees back to his work on the Taxins.
Jen consults Amy and she says Jen should be able to phase into his private dimension when she is sleeping. However, when they do get back together his work interrupts and they both wind up in trouble. They escape with the help of a Taxin that has been working with humans.
Now that the Sinth’s have a weak spot their mission to help earth is getting complicated.
The writing and editing of this novel was pretty clean, with only two or three typos that I caught in the ARC version of the manuscript. The world building is competent, though not exceptional. The characterization is competent, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic individuals. The development of the romantic relationship is fairly organic, though there was not really any conflict keeping these two apart, beyond the fact that the heroine's husband had just passed away. The plot and pacing was exciting, with me quickly turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. There was pretty low angst and high stakes in this story, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Fated Mates and the Mars Needs Women trope. It also used a variation of the Alien Invasion trope. The world building was three stars. The plot and pacing was four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship was three stars. Therefore the combined score is three and a half stars. This novel has a Happy For Now ending instead of a cliffhanger, which is a big plus to this whole series. I recommend this novel to readers who want a fun low angst sci-fi romance to while away an afternoon. I do not plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel, though I did enjoy it quite a bit.

Amy's best friend, Jen, has been frantic about Amy’s disappearance. Then Amy turned up right before the funeral for Jen’s husband. Trus arrives on Earth as part of his investigation to find out why humans were taken for Wen food and held on Teleplay. His teammate, Mavin, is on Earth with his mate, Amy. When Amy realizes that Jen may be Trus's mate, she helps to get them together and tries to explain to Jen. Trus knows that finding his own mate should not become his primary priority, but Jen is mating compatible, they feel the attraction. Will he take the time to explore this with her? Will she accept him? Will he find out who is kidnapping the humans?
This is a very action-packed story that pulls the reader in. The characters are well-portrayed. Grab your copy and follow Trus’ investigation while he tries to deal with the excitement of finding his mate!

This book is the third book in the "Sinth Strain" series. Trus and Marvin are Guardians carrying out a routine inspection when they discover four humans that had been abducted and sold for food. One of the humans, a female, called Amy, is Marvin's mate. Trus was surprised to discover that Amy's best friend on Earth proved to be his mate, but meeting her for the first time at her husband's funeral was unfortunate. This book was a romance, but there was an element of mystery and danger involved in this story as well. I look forward to reading books in this series, as the complex story behind the human's abduction is revealed.

Read to find out who it is and what weapons they may be developing against the Sinth.

Jen is trying to cope with her husband's illness and her friend's disappearance as well as continuing to run their business. As the end comes near for Ken, she begins to fall apart, and at Ken's funeral, she starts seeing what she thinks are ghosts. Trus is no ghost, and even though she loved Ken deeply, after his death, Trus claims her. Then chaos ensues.
This series is a little hard to follow unless you start from the beginning. It's a complicated story that deserves to be read carefully picking up all the clues along the way! We get to know more about the Ashen and other races, and it's all good!
I always await eagerly for these to come out, I definitely recommend them. You do have to read them in order because there are always questions left open not just about the main arc but also about the couples. I would have rated this higher but the author did something I hate. An author builds a universe adding facts and data as they go. This builds the foundations of the stories but then an author will ignore all that and put something in that breaks the laws of that universe that she has written. So good story but I hate when they deviate from what they have already written.

Interesting plot 4 stars - There’s a lot of things happening here. It is half romance and half mystery but sometimes the plot developments overshadowed the romance. It still has the steamy relationship between the mates Trus and Jen. I like Jen’s character but I feel like the involvement of Paul and the rest of his family was not resolved completely. The plot is very interesting. It’s hard to tell how widespread the Wen virus is. Who is really responsible for selling the humans for food? So many questions that I hope will be answered in the next book. This is an HEA for Jen and Trus. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
Jen's best friend Amy went missing two weeks ago, and Trus' partner/best friend Mavin rescued her in every sense. (Wanna know more? Read the first book in the series)
Amy and Main can't help but notice something special when Jen and Trus meet, and while these may be two different people, equally devoted to very different jobs, all signs point to something amazing... if they take the chance.
This done in one Kindle unlimited quick read moves the overarching plot forward, and in a sense by answering some questions we've been facing it opens up new ones, and changes the focus slightly, leaving me curious where things are headed.
Sinth Seized is book 3 in the Sinth Strain series. Find a prequel called Sinth Savior (I got my copy from Pearl Tate’s website) in my opinion it is a must to start there since the characters and events are an important part of this series and also do read the entire series in order or you will be missing out on so much good stuff!
Sinth Seized has so much going on that I could not put it down! There are so many more questions, so many secrets, lies and betrayal, government manipulation, danger, aliens of all kinds and such supportive friends and formed family! Don’t forget the instant attraction, spice and all the fated mate action you could ask for!
I have already started the next book in the series, Sinth Salvation because I could not wait for the adventure to continue!
This is such a good story! This is the 3rd book in the series and while it can be read as a standalone, I highly suggest reading the series in order because the author does such an amazing job on continuing the world-building throughout the books. There is so much going on in this book that it could almost be confusing but the author does such an amazing job of writing that it flows very nicely and keeps you hooked to the very end!

This is the continuing story and I highly recommend you read them all in order of the Sinth Guardians. We are introduced to new characters and the overarching mystery continues to unfold. We learn a lot more in this story but I don't think you will get the same impact if you don't read the previous stories. I did read them and this is an excellent continuation.
In this story the world building continues and while the characters are different, the situation becomes more complex. A very fast paced read. I am totally enjoying the series and highly recommend it.
I’m loving this series with earth women being abducted then finding their mates and with their mates they become healed and show signs of certain powers, abducted women are ending up in pens on Teleplay they are being used as food but how are they getting there and who is doing it?, well Trus is a guardian he plans to find out but then he comes across his mate Jen at her husband’s funeral. Wow there is so much going on in this story I loved it and I can’t wait to read more in this series and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
The third book in this sci-fi series. The books in this series run together. It is best to read in order to fully understand and avoid any spoilers.
Jen has been worried about her missing friend, Amy. But when she shows back up the world as Jen knew will change. She will learn about aliens and those that have lived with us. But with the recent passing of her husband she isn’t sure of how she feels. She is a strong character and takes it better than even the aliens are surprised of. Trus is the one alien that will help her understand and will show her she can still find happiness.
Looks like there is more to the story about the Wen Virus and the aluminum supplements. Trus and Jen are smacked right into it. The timings not perfect, he was investigating a kidnapping, she just buried her husband. But are they really mates? Their meeting seems so easy. Things get awkward for Trus in his work but that just proved that Jen is truly his mate. Danger abounds, and in the middle, their relationship grew. But danger still lurks. I wonder what happens next.

Although this can be read as a standalone novel, I strongly suggest reading this series from the very beginning, it’s a brilliant series and you really do not want to miss anything! This is the 3rd book in this series. Again, many questions are answered and many more arise! The story line and the characters are interesting, the book is fast-paced and easy to read. There is suspense, romance and steam! Waiting for the next one :)

This was a good book. Took me longer to finish it then Sinth Savior and Sinth Seeker. This was still a good read. I completely understand Jen being slow to acknowledge the immediate chemistry between her and Trus. Thankfully Trus was patient. This book had excitement, romance, a very brief love triangle and some fighting. I would recommend this book.
The stories keep going in a straight line with small forks along the way. The forks are the individual couples. The whole plot is starting to come together. The further you go the more danger is in store. A lot going on and pulling information from different leads. An excellent series. I would like to cheat and read the ending.(O! Not going to happen.) The plot is coming together faster and faster.
