This was book 5 in the "Wild Irish" This book picked up where book 4 left off. It was a lot going on in it Liam and the boys get answers to who killed there mother and Finn's wife Siobhan RA which sets off a chain of events turns out she wasn't the target. This book had a lot of action in it. Liam and Svetlana face there feelings for each other with some surprising results and Una tries to protect the family putting herself in Liam's crosshairs and opened up a can of worms and family secrets come to light. I still feel bad for Finn and in this book I felt bad for Connor also. We also got to see another side of Liam and got to understand all the things that he did to keep them together as a family. Svetlana who Liam thought was weak and emotional when they met he discovered she is strong and. I didn't like the father. This was a good end to this series this series has everything I liked to read about when reading mafia romance it was violent and intense. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

I have to say I'm glad this series is over. I am clearly in the minority based on those that have reviewed so far in that I didn't care for this. I feel like we could've summed this series up in two books. For me, this felt like a soap opera style series vs a mafia series. The epilogue at least helped redeem this a little for me.

Heartless is the fifth book in the wonderful Wild Irish series that needs to be read in order. But it is so worth it as the O'Roarke crime family is deliciously sexy, dark and of so wonderfully bad in all the right ways. This book continues Svetlana and Liam's story from Merciless. Their story started with Svetlana being given to Liam to secure a business deal with her uncle and the Czech crime family that he runs. Liam did not want her and Svetlana was afraid of him. But as she stayed with him longer and he made sure she was well looked after they grew closer together. Eventually the inevitable happens and they come together as they cannot fight their attraction any longer. Now Liam's possessive and protective Alpha has come out in full force to ensure Svetlana remains beside him and is safe. He also has the O'Rourke family behind him as he is the oldest brother and the leader. They will have to overcome a lot and fight their way to their version of a HEA.
I really loved this book in the series, the best so far to me. Liam and Svetlana are well written and have a lot of depth to them. With this story we get to see Liam experience something he never thought he would have, and it is an interesting journey through his heart, mind and emotions.

4.5 stars! Liam & Svetlana: The Grand Finale!!!!

Heartless by Vi Carter it's the 5th installment in the Wild Irish Series, must be read after Merciless #4 and is the conclusion to Liam and Svetlana's story as well as what I think to be the last book in this collection.
This book wraps around really good regarding this couple and the series in its whole. Liam, with the weight of responsibility in his shoulders due to the family's secret he keeps and what went down after the infortunity concerning said secret, manages to keep his family safe and out of the scope of their enemies (with collateral, nevertheless), fall in love with Svetlana and bring the due justice for them all. We get to understand Liam's behavoir through the series, his reasons to act the way he does and why he is a cunning and powerful leader. The family's dynamics is very refreshing, since the brothers are so different from one another.
I loved to see Liam with his cold and serious semblance developing feelings for Svetlana who he thought weak and emotional when they met, but discovered her to be a strong and perseverant woman.
This is an extremelly well written series, the plot flows at the right pace, it's well done and believable. For all that was said, if you're into mafia romance, Wild Irish is a must read!

If you're looking for an easy to follow, hot, steamy, sexy, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from the start. Congratulations my friends you've found it. The characters and scenes are realistic and believable. Twists and turns and unpredictable surprises that kept my eyes on the pages and on the edge of my seat. I followed the characters fascinated as their personalities transformed and blended. Vivid detailed descriptions were so life like and on point. The storyline was solid and well defined. Cold showers may be in order when your finished. Vi Carter did a remarkable job bringing this story together beautifully.

This is the big one, this series has t be read in order to follow the events that are referred too and also the back story that runs through the series, we met Liam and Svetlana in Merciless and now we get the full story of Liam and find out if his prisoner will stay or go, and how this band of brothers may fight each over but they become one when threatened. This has to be my favourite, this was I ride I didn't want to get off of, in the blink of an eye hell can rain down and it does, the only thing is people didn't realise Lucifer had another name and that name was Liam, this will stay with you. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

This series is totally awesome.
This book will have you on the edge of your mind. The action alone will have you thinking that you’re in a action movie.
The continuation of just how much Svetlana and Liam's story is an awesome conclusion. I mean this book has something for just about everyone.
Their chemistry alone is so well written, they’re a MATCH made in heaven.

I’m anxiously awaiting to see what Vi has coming next.

This is book five in the Wild Irish Mafia series. This is a bittersweet read for me, this is what the whole series comes down to, the war between Sveltana's uncle and Liam with his brothers. There is a possibility that the characters I want to succeed could not and that would break my heart. It all comes down to this and this book will have you on the edge of your seat, hanging onto your device for dear life and absolutely absorbed into the final pages. I highly recommend this series, it was a fantastic read. Enjoy!

Sometimes the strongest fall the hardest

Arghhhh what a finale this was. I knew we could expect some fireworks in the final book with all the loose ends needing to tied up. But which way was it going to pan out!!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series, from first Meeting Michael and Mary in Reckless the prequel, then moving through each of the sons stories.

I think we have had all the feels throughout, certainly some laughter, frustration and yes - tears!!!.

Liam’s was definitely my favourite, so much emotional turmoil with his story. Sometimes the strongest fall the hardest, Svetlana was certainly his match.

I’m really going to miss this wild bunch!!

Another great book by this author. Love this book from start to finish.
This one had a bit of everything in it.
Mystery, suspense, romance and etc.
I didn`t find any holes in the plot of this book at all.
No spelling mistakes as far as I could find.
The characters really worked well together in the book and
I hate a great connection with them as well.
I recommend this book for others over the age of 18+

This compelling author nails it again!...It seemed to start out slow but in no time I was holding my breath on the edge of fear & then quickly turning the pages to see what further dangers lurked. Underpinning this was a fast growing respect & love blossoming between the main characters. Could this heartless man become a family man? She had the power & a much needed strong backbone. This is the 5th book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. Svetlana may have one been Liam’s captor but now he is so much more. Her Uncle however, doesn’t plan on letter her go, will there be a war over her? Will Liam and his brother be able to keep her safe? Fast-paced, action-paced, steamy mafia read with plenty of twists and turns and great chemistry. A great addition to this series. I really liked it.

This has been such a great series, although I did struggle a bit to get into it but only because it felt like ages ago I read the the books so had to go back and have a quick refresher (would’ve loved to have read straight through the series and probably will when I have more time 😉) this was such a packed last book, love all the interactions between the brothers, didn’t really understand the Una bit? Great series 😁

This book was great, I swallow it whole. It was really great wrapping up of all loose ends, finding solution for nearly everything. Liam, as real head of Chlann protects everyone. He organise things, even against his brothers anger, putting himself in danger to save them all. He made a plan. He kept to it. And it worked. Now he can profit of his family.

I waited two weeks for this book. And it was totally worth it definitely the best of the 5 books series. Totally lives up to the title heartless. Liam was so cold and unreachable in all the other 4 books and it goes to show that there is someone for everyone. Though he was still Ruthless it was for Svetlana and was in the best interest of his family. Sooo good. A must read but you have to read the entire series.

Dark, dangerous, suspenseful, intriguing, captivating; the list of adjectives for this story and this series could go on but I think you get the idea. The author crafted a believable and creative story with characters who were realistic with flaws but also captivating in their presence on the page. I was glued to the pages of this story. Loved it!

Fantastic ending to a great series. There is heartbreak, passion, betrayal, espionage and the romance between Liam and Svetlana heats up to scorching levels! The O'Reagan brothers are dysfunctional as ever.. but overcome it all together. As much as they bicker, fight and tease one another.. nothing comes above family and the ones they hold dear.
