The dance at the club ended and, as Sylvie tried to return to her table and rest her aching feet, Bradley gripped her wrist, demanding another dance and making sure he squeezed her wrist hard enough to cause her pain. It wasn’t until the stranger told him to listen to the lady. He quickly backed away then with a frightened look. She turned to see what he was afraid of and almost melted at the huge gorgeous muscled man behind her. His eyes were silver and his smile was full of sharp teeth! But she chose to stay and get to know Zander rather than join Bradley and his friends.
Zander had been born into a world that had no women, but knowing there must be someone out there for him, he researches until he finds his fated mate on a planet called Earth. He and others each had a target and they came to Earth to find their female.
For Sylvie, all she wants is someone to love and accept her for the person she is. But she was not thinking an alien would arrive to kidnap her and take her home! Can she fall in love with an alien? Can he make her happy enough to accept their differences and reach for a HEA?
It was amusing to read about Earth from an alien’s perspective. It lost a little traction when it talked about Earth as an “all you can eat buffet” which made it totally unrealistic that an alien would describe it that way. But the other descriptions were accurate and amusing. The dialog interaction between the characters was well-done and enjoyable. I am definitely interested in sticking with this new series. I love the humor and the feelings generated in the characters. There is definitely potential here exploring the stars with this new alien group.

I've read a lot of books written by CL Rowell; she has done an excellent job at writing a good short story; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Great addition to the Paranormal Romance genre!
The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.
The attitudes toward the events that are happening make the story even richer and the characters more relatable.

Wonderfully fantastic... The book was amazing... It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it... The characters and their personalities match them perfectly... The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing...

The start of a new series called Written in the Stars a well written short story that held my interest until the end. This is Sylvie, and Zander's story the is drama, kidnapping, and romance. I have been stuck in a spiral of sci-fi romance novels and this book is a good addition. This is a quick read and takes place over a couple hours. Short and sweet, it moves fast and there is pretty much zero drama in the story. It sort of has a prequel feel, like it is part of a bigger story

I enjoyed this storyline. The characters are well developed and engaging and full of chemistry. I enjoyed the smooth flow of the storyline. Kudos to the author for delivering a great steamy storyline.

Zander is looking for a mate. His world have no women and he feels that somewhere out in the universe is his mate. Sylvia wants a home,mate and kids. He pinpoints a little blue green marble as a good place to start. But will these two souls be able to overcome their problems and differences? A great read.

It was very short with a lot going on at a fast pace. The pods take off and head to Earth. Each has a designated spot, When Sylvie sees Zander standing behind her in a bar she has to look up, up and up. Zander is a perfect gentleman. I loved how the writer draws you into the story and I loved the characters. Sylvie's attitude with how Zander takes her is fantastic and I can't wait to see if these stories grow into a bigger story. Zander and his team were sent to earth to get their fated mates to try to repopulate their planet. Sylvie was a BBW and on another dud of a date. When she saw Zander and he rescued her from the date she was on she knew there was something special about him. This was a fast and fun story as Zander sought and caught his mate.
