Sydney never expected her one-night stand with Xavier Galis, the lead singer of the Flying Monkeys, to turn into being trapped in a lock-down with the band! How does she control the situation of five sexy men -- Xavier, Devon, Chase, Jax, and Trent -- competing for her body?

It started with a game of 8-ball, now in its third day, where the winner would get time Sydney, or at least she knew it had something to do with her. Devon was the favored one to win, but Jax had hidden talents that he was just revealing and it looked like he had the skills to win against any of them. Xavier tensed with his arms around Sydney when Jax strutted over to ask how she wanted to take him. She knew she and Xavier were solid, and the guys knew it too. Why was Jax acting like this? Yet they intended to take turns and the game was just to determine the playing order.

How long will this quarantine last? And yet as they get to know each other even more closely than ever before, the competition makes a subtle change and there is understanding, caring, and lots of heat. They have an actual relationship and everyone is finding a comfortable role within that relationship. Could this actually be working out for everyone? Because when Xavier asks her after lockdown had ended to tell him what she wants, she had no trouble telling him: “To keep playing with the band!” (You got that, right? She’s not asking about a music career!)

l.earning to share in quarantine.........and afterwards???

Playing with the Band in Lockdown is the sixth book in the Love Under Lockdown series and continues the story of Sydney and Xavier, but now add in his bandmates - Chase, Devon, Jax and Trent. Each man wants Sydney in their own way and things are about to get very very intense and interesting when they are quarantined together.
This is a fast-paced, hot, emotional and charming story which is a fun read.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Another great read

As I stated in my review of Ms. Shaw's last couple of books, these are engaging, thought out and creative books. I will be reading the whole series because I can't get enough of these characters and where everything will end up. You learn more and more info on how all of them operate. Can't wait to find out who Sydney really is and her past background! Again read these books. You won't be disappointed.

Huh?

I am just as confused as Xavier, Devon, Chase and Jax over Sydney’s behavior, or maybe as unsure as Sydney about the situation she’s in. Either way RH relationships are messy ( no pun intended ). Besides Xavier’s contentious relationship with his brother, there’s Jax weird behavior, Trent being REALLY weird as a non participant and of course the question remains
Who is Sydney. On to the next one for answers

Kenna just went from turning up the heat to molten...This was fast & furious & HOT but underlying all the different personalities & temperaments was something way beyond a wham bham. It was a caring & sharing & safe unique situation which seems like the most unlikely relationship but it seemed to work & will likely fulfill many fantasies. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

Who says lockdown has to be boring? Sydney and The Flying Monkeys are exploring their boundaries and making music in their pub hideaway. Misunderstandings and ruffled feelings threaten but... one band member not charmed by Sydney but who knows. I read this book using my KU subscription and can’t wait fir the next instalment.

Oh my God. This was one hot read. Even if you aren't into stories about band mates, you are going to love this one, if you like hot, possessive guys. 5 stars.

Playing with the band in lockdown

Book 2 gets some emotions going. Sydney is pretty emotional. I'd like for her to finally open up about her real name and why she's running.

Sydney is on her own at a concert when she meets the band.
She has an immediate connection with Xavier.
She has been with them a few days when the country goes into lockdown.
She is alone with the band in a pub. They are looking after it for the landlord.
Yes she is with Xav but they also spend time with Devon and Chase.
They concoct games to play to keep the sane whilst on lockdown and also start writing their next album.
They are forced to look at how the world could see them whilst still hiding some personal secrets
A well written book and a good read
