Silver Shift is a short intro to the series. 4.4 stars
Actually the novella introduces the main characters and their relationships. You get a chance to question what in the heck is going on before the action gets too intense. You can decide if you want to read the series of not, but you will be hooked!
This is. Part of as series that will keep you totally engrossed with the fascinating storyline and colourful adventure that Starr Bishop suddenly finds herself involved in. Christian who is the central character within this novella gives you literally his deepest thoughts and feelings about how this girl from next door (Starr Bishop) has somehow gotten under his skin. Without giving away any spoilers this is wonderful storyline that has secrets and web's of intrigue mystery and incidents that often bring a tear to your eye. Even though this novella can be read as a standalone, it's well worth including it within the series so you can feel, appreciate and understand exactly what this superb Author is creating within a supernatural romance, but one that incorporates a difference. Definitely a book to add to your TBR list I know you will have trouble putting it down.
Christian and Starr have a less than cordial relationship at school, yet when Starr finds herself in dire straights, it's Christian that comes to her rescue. One tiny mistake on his part brings him to the attention of The General, the head of the nefarious Organization.
I received a free copy of Silver Shift: Silver Fae Book 0.5 through BookFunnel and have chosen to leave a review.
Same storyline as book 1, but from Christian's POV and doesn't repeat details. Gives more hints towards what he is, and helped to confirm some suspicions. Easy to read and easier to follow than others like this. Good mini read while waiting for book 2.
I received a free copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I love this snack sized book. It follows along the story of the first book but from the perspective of Christian. It adds a little bit more info to the story, just enough to tease the reader and make them want more. For me, it was the perfect little taste of the other side.
