This series is so good! Kristen is still fighting against Portage who wants to take her place as master. The humans are involved now and Kristen is not sure what they are up to. I loved that Hugh was so interested in the vampires and whatever he could find out about them. He eventually found out why he was so interested. I can’t stand Portage and all the trouble he is causing. I am still not sure who is really with him and against Kristen. There are twists and turns all the time! There are vampires missing and no one is sure who has them. There are secrets all over the place and some come out. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. There is a next book that I cant wait to come out to see what is going to happen! I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read it. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

This series just gets better and better. This second book just grabs you from the very start and I found myself totally engrossed in the story. It’s so action packed and exciting and it’s passionate as we get a look into Hugh’s backstory. A fab adult paranormal romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat with all the secrets and the twists and turns and I have to say I cannot wait to read the next book!

I'm not a lover of paranormal, yet Stacy Eaton has me eating up (or should I say feeding on?) the Blue Blood series.
Hugh is the latest venture into the VMF world. Kristin (Book 1) brought us forty years into the future from where the original Blue Blood series ended. Kristin is now mated with Hugh, another reborn, like Kristin and her sister, Angelina.
Joseph Portage is scheming away in the background, preparing to topple the Mistress so he can become the Master. He will stop at nothing, which he proved when he killed the previous Master, Alexander Armstrong, who was his brother. His son, Zander Portage, has been waiting for thirty-five years to find out what his purpose is. He has been having visions and hearing voices. There is a big reveal in this book (no spoilers) that I had already guessed when reading Kristin: Book 1.
The ending...OMG!!! Now I can't wait for Zander: Book 3. These vampires have me hooked.

I love that Stacy Eaton has expanded into the vampire / paranormal suspense genre. The Blue Blood Returns, the spin-off to the original series, My Blood Runs Blue, is set in forty years in the future, and it's a very well-composed urban romance. The premise is engaging, and the story is action-packed, thrilling, exhilarating, passionate, and pretty addictive. The plot is easy to follow and unpredictable, with enough twist and turns to keep the readers/listeners guessing. In addition to vampire politics and intrigue, humans are aware of the existence of the vampires, and the government, Department of Homeland Security, are involved. The chief antagonist, whom I can't stand, is constantly scheming and causing problems. The main characters, Kristin and Hugh's are mates, competent, capable, and perfect for each other; aside from the element of romance, they brought so much more to the story. The ending was absolutely amazing; I have no idea how I'll manage to wait for the third book, Zander.
Alex Black did an excellent job with the narration. His pace was perfect and provided the right amount of emotion and exhilaration at the appropriate places, further engaging the listener. All in all, The Blue Blood Returns is a fantastic paranormal vampire romance series, one I'm highly recommending.

Wow this book is filled with action, lust, greed and revenge!! Loved this book and this series!! Love returning to this world and revisiting with Kristen and the gang!! Learning more about who she is battling with and who she can trust!! A past love returns but will that be her down fall!! This vampire world is in turmoil and Kristen must find a way to fight her enemies and bring peace to the world again!! Can't wait to find out what happens next in Zander's book!! This series has kept me glued to my kindle and feeling sad when i get to the end and wishing it was not over!! Don't hesitate to grab this book and enjoy this series!!

Will Kristin ever find some rest, peace and love ?
This series is a huge cliff hanger and I love it ! I honestly recommend to read the previous series to better enjoy and understand everything Kristin went thru to end up one of the most powerful Master. She had her life taken away twice, her heart shattered, her soul ripped but she got stronger and fearless. In this book she makes hard decisions and difficult choices and only time will tell if she should have followed her heart or her head. Drama, action , mystery and hot as sin sexy scenes. Definitely a must read for vampires lovers !

This series keeps getting better and better. I don’t know how Stacy Eaton does it. She has a way of pulling us in and keeping us on the edge of our seat!
This book gives us a glimpse into Hugh’s life before he knew that he was a vampire. Hugh has now mated with Kristin but will the bond stick?
Even though Kristin bonded with Hugh, she still doesn’t trust him completely.
Angelina is very attracted to her sister, Kristin’s mate, will she be able to keep her feelings a secret?

I have loved this series from the start! These are like a spin off since book one brought us forward about 40 years. I am so thankfully that Hugh gave us some of the backstory about how book 1 ended. I love the characters and all the crazy twists and turns. I really don't always see them coming and that is awesome. I love how the characters are interwoven and yet totally separate. I can't wait to see where the next book takes us, what blanks it fills in and where this story is going in the grande scheme of things. I love everything about it!

An exciting installment with surprises around every corner. Such passion and loyalty among Krisin and her people. On the verge of a vampire war and with the humans having a new weapon, nobody is safe. Spectacular. Can't wait for the next installment. This great series continues...even though Kristen and Hugh have mated, there is still a lack of trust between them. Between other vampires and humans, there are lots of plot twists and action. This book will keep you guessing and on edge the entire time! Once you start reading, you won't want to put it down!

Hugh is book 2 of The Blue Blood Returns series. You learn about his backstop. I strongly suggest you read book 1 before reading this. You will not be disappointed it is a great series. Hugh's book is filled with action.

The second book in this series is as intricate as the first. You will need to have read the other books in the blue blood series and Kristen to enjoy it fully but when you get to the end you'll be eager for the author to write then next one. The depth of the chracters make it feel like you're getting to know them as friends and you're sorry when the book ends.

This new spin-off series brings back old characters in new forms. There is ongoing angst, twists, turns and smokin hot passion. This book features Hugh, a law officer and his connection with Kristin, the mistress. I have read or listened to the entire series and loved them. Highly recommend this series.

Another character is developed in this series about vampires. You'll find yourself second guessing who is on the good side and who is on the bad side. The suspense will build and then you'll want the next book to see what happens.

Holy COW! what a story! If you like vampire/paranormal stories this is for you - heck the whole series is addicting. Stacy has a way of dumping you right into the middle of the action - you are the fly on the wall. This is a fast paced book with so many twists and turns - drama, intrigue and more. If you are looking for a sweet romance this is not it. If you want a real novel with your romance then this is for you. I loved the original blue bloods and was sorry when it was over - now there is a new series that is even better. This book was just released and I am already jonesing for the next installment.
