Two things before I begin: 1) GAWD, these covers! #winning and 2) I cannot emphasize how much my inner reader geek LOVES Chelle Bliss for delivering books with titles that are ridiculously on-point with the story. One would think point number 2 would not be worthy of noting because of course titles match stories, but alas, one would be wrong in so many cases my brain hurts!

Okay, let’s move on. I know I’m late to the game, and I’ve said this before on numerous occasions, but in the last couple of years I have becomeobsessed with all things Chelle Bliss because this woman can spin a tale that not only leaves you wanting more but also ridiculously satisfied with what you get. It’s wizardry and I am here for it all!!!

If it’s on thing I have learned in my obsessiveness of all things Chelle, is that her Gallo men and women are take no prisoners on the outside while the inside is soft as a baby’s butt. They protect their own and anyone in their sphere like a momma bear protects her cubs and they are loyal to a fault. If you cross them, may God be with you. Nick Gallo is all of this and a bag of chips people. ALL OF IT! Josephine Carmichael holds her own, no doubt about it, and is a perfect match for Nick. Pretty sure Chelle broke the mold with these two. I was so into their story that it flew by in no time. Everything about them sparked . Their chemistry sparked. Their interactions sparked. Their story sparked. All of it just sparked and I felt it the entire time I was reading. This was magic :)

PERFORMANCE REVIEW & RATING: 5 STAR

Samantha Brentmoor has been one of my favorite female narrators for a while now, so it is no surprise that I loved her as Jo and Lance Greenfield played an excellent Nick as well. I’d *read* this story two years ago when it was published but listening to it thru Lance & Samantha’s narration made it feel fresh and new for me. It of course has been over 2 years since I’d read it so of course some of the details would automatically feel new but it was more than just an odd detail here and there, it was the entire journey! It made me giddy and happy all over again for Nick & Jo and I loved it!

Oh my gawd, Nick Gallo is EVERYTHING people E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G........so damn swoon-worthy!!!!

"I love you, babe. That crazy, wild kind of love that makes a man do dumb shit. Never loved a person the way I love you either. Fucked me up right from the start."

If you've read any books in this Heatwave Series then you know how amazing these books are but holy geez this book, this one was PHENOMENAL! There was just something about the sweet (he had his moments), protective, sexy nature that was Nick Gallo! Josephine "Jo" Carmichael may have been Hollywood Royalty but her upbringing was short of the love and support she should have had. Her sweet and sassy attitude drew Nick in but her lack of a "normal" childhood brought out the best in him to give her everything she lacked.

This story pulled you in from the first chapter and held on right until the very end. I love getting glimpses of all the craziness that is the Gallo family and this one had me laughing and swooning page after page of this incredible read. This will definitely be a Top Read for me!!

Yes, it was good... but I couldn't connect with these two characters like the rest. It's still a good read!!

I'm not super impressed with this book. It had its good moments, but they were few. The main characters were very wishy, washy. The premise was good, but then the stuff with the mom and ex boyfriend were just way out from the left field. Not much of this book really jived with me at all. 3 stars

You can't help but love a Gallo man.

Spark is a fast and Sweet and oh-so-swoony read.
Par for the course for the legendary Gallo men, Nick is an absolute swoon worthy marshmallow under his tough guy alpha exterior. I absolutely love his protective side, while maintaining that women aren't the weaker sex but the fairer one.
Nick and Jo's whirl-wind relationship is so engaging and captivating, pouncing when you least expect it but still feeling do damn right.

I honestly just love the beautiful balance of the Gallo clan, with their soft creamy center alpha men and the strong and sassy women who hold their hearts - and wear the pants. The amazing family bonds and loyalty are absolutely heartwarming and the steam factor is through the roof having me devour each new book and craving more.

Spark by Chelle Bliss is book 6 in the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series. This is the story of Josephine 'Jo' Carmichael and Nick Gallo. I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this one, but I do feel this can be a standalone book if you wish to do so. Nick is surrounded by a loving supportive family so he had always had people around him that he can count on. But with that he does work to be his own person and loves the ladies. When he happens upon Josephine who needs help he can't seem to turn away. Josephine is the opposite of Nick in having family support and in addition she is in the public eye which in itself leads to loneliness. The sparks did fly and the this author kept me turning the pages.

The Gallos are back in Spark, book 6 of the Men of Ink: Heatwave series. It focuses on Nick Gallo, who pretty much stole the spot as my favorite, and Josephine Carmichael. The storyline jumps about 4-5 years from where Wildfire ended.

Nick is a no b.s., says what's on his mind and means what he says kind of man. He comes off as a hard, arrogant jerk, but he's actually really sweet, fun, caring and compassionate. He definitely has the Gallo blood flowing through his veins; he loves hard and protects those he cares about fiercely.

Jo comes off as a sassy, stuck up snob, but she's really just a lost, damaged, lonely and somewhat insecure woman. She's been burned by almost everyone in her life who's supposed to love and care for her. Jo's a lot more down to earth then someone would expect after the way she grew up.

Spark is an Insta-love romance and there's no denying the chemistry between Nick and Jo. The story was entertaining, fast-paced, and their spark was palpable  😉. Nick was swoon worthy just like his dad and the rest of the Gallo men.  I also loved the glimpses we get of the other couples in the family and seeing where things have progressed with them, especially in the epilogue 💜. And now I'm eagerly anticipating Rocco's book!

I listened to this one. I had a hard time getting used to the weirdness that was the hero. I don’t really get why everything happened. The heroine is famous for being famous. She doesn’t do anything. She hasn’t got a job per se, just has famous parents.
Speaking of which, the ending is out there. Why why why? Without giving away spoilers there is a major issue with the plot. Just no explanation as to why events went the way they did.
Anyway, the hero is from a large Gallo family and I’ve basically read it in a different form before. This was a book to keep my mind occupied while I drove.🙃

Spark is the 6th book in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series by Chelle Bliss. The series is a spin-off of the Men of Inked and it's about the Gallo cousins. Not all books in the series are stand-alone, although Nick and Jo's story ends in this one. The epilogue of this book does end with a minor cliffhanger that makes me wonder what happened to the characters since book 7 seems to begin with a time jump.

While reading Spark I found what I was missing in the book I was reading before. A hero who has convinced me 100% that he will do anything for his woman. I cannot tell you how much I loved Nick. He was perfect and so protective and supportive which was exactly what Jo needed. I gotta be honest and admit that I have no clue what exactly Jo's job is. Also, I wasn't expecting her to be the heroine because we first see her crying at a taco place. Isn't that a very good first impression? I think so too! She is a kind person and as I was reading I kept liking her more and more. She is a cool heroine to have around and I really liked her. On the romance department, the book was very strong and I was satisfied with what I read. Nick amazing and I couldn't help but fall for him. Jo is the one who completes him and together they make a good couple. Nick's family is very present in the story and they only added to the goodness.

The book was going great until the usual drama came up, you know, the one that tests the relationship between the two main characters, and two things didn't add up. the first is that I found it unbelievable that Nick wouldn't force Jo go to the hospital. After what happened I would have wanted her to be checked by the author. The second thing is that I felt like the same issue that caused problems to Jo didn't feel like it was resolved and more like it was brushed under the rug and rushed.

At first, I was going to give 4 stars to the book because of what I mentioned in the above paragraph, but as I was writing the review I decided that Nick as a hero and Jo and Nick as a couple deserved 5 stars, so I am actually going with the 5-star rating. I do believe that this is the first 5 starred book of the year (and I have read at least 10 books already) so yay for me and the author.

Nick & Jo's story is quick & sweet, spicy & adventurous! Nick was a wild child, getting into some trouble as a teen. He matured, but still had the confirmed bachelor thing down. Until he sees a woman crying into her nachos on a late-night taco run. He doesn't WANT to help her, but his family instilled a heart of gold, and so he does.

Jo has some major issues with her family - she's never really HAD a family, even tho her mom & dad are still alive & everything. She was raised by a nanny, and had a very sheltered life in some ways, very much in the public eye in others. She's not sure what to think of Nick & his gruff gallantry.

I LOVE the way these two interact & the progression of their relationship. The way Nick's family is involved in his life, and how they enfold Jo into their tribe right away. It's a happy story with a splash of steam and a bit of drama - my favorite kind of drama that's outside of the relationship & requires a rescue! Thumbs way up for this one!

I love the Gallo Family and I'm always excited when a new book releases. Spark is the 6th book in the series and this is Jo and Nick's story. Their story was filled with drama, suspense, humor, heartfelt and emotional moments, excellent chemistry and some hot romance. Of course the addition of the Gallo family greatly added to the story as there is never a dull moment when they are around as the witty dialogue and banter is always highly entertaining. This was another great addition to this series and I enjoyed it. The audiobook was narrated by Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield. They both did a great job with the characters, giving them their own voice and they brought the story to life. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this story.

Spark is the story of Nick and Jo, who come from very different backgrounds, their chance encounter and instant attraction.

This was my first book by the author and I quite enjoyed it, I listened to it on audio and the narrators did a great job, adding a lot to my enjoyment.

I found the story itself to be a bit too over the top for my liking, but overall it was a good experience, I especially recommend picking it up in audio format.

I received a complimentary copy and these are my own thoughts.

5 stars!! Another amazing book in this series!!

This is book six of the “Men of Inked: Heatwave” series and can be read as a stand alone. BUT I don’t think that’s the best decision. I absolutely love this series and you will find you want to know more about the characters especially when you get tidbits from other books!!

I love this author and her amazing ability to create bad ass men with ginormous hearts. They are scary yet sexy fuckers who make you swoon. I love the entire Gallo family and all that branch out from it. I was excited about Nick story from when they caught him at the cousins apartment. Boy did he grow up!! He may be one of my favorites.

What makes these stories even better is that the female lead character is always so fucking beautiful. Inside and out. She is a bad ass herself. Maybe not physically but she is not playing games or any of the other toxic shit (though I did wonder at first). Her wings may have been clipped but once you are brought into the Gallo family you start to heal.

I love how these stories make me laugh my ass off as well as make my panties melt and my heart swell. Definitely a must read. It’s quick and super easy to read.

**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**

Omg I love the Gallos and this felt special, I have never read a book where the heroine has my name, I would love to meet the Gallos and felt like I was truly there, they are an awesome bunch.

Nick Gallo, loves his family and willing to help a woman in need, just like his dad told him. He never allows women to sleep over or share his space even if they are family, for long periods of time but she is different.

Josephine Carmichael, escaping reality and trying to hide from her real life, the life she believes is the norm. Until he shows her a different side.

I love the chemistry between the characters. Can't wait for the next book. Would definitely recommend this series it is addictive. I recommend starting at the beginning to get the build up of the story better. Highly recommend the amazing author.

Spark is fantastic. Just when I thought (foolishly, of course) that Chelle Bliss couldn't up her game with this second generation of Gallos, she writes this book. There is something beyond rhythmic with this story that grabbed me in the most subtle way. I'm sure it's Nick Gallo's easygoing charm and his choice to live how he wants to, succumbing happily to his family's way of life. I fell hard, people. And maybe it's because we finally get a male Gallo storyline. Please don't get me wrong, I love his female cousins and the men who tried to tame them. But there is something beyond enthralling when it's about the men in this crew. And to see this younger cousin have his own world turned upside down by the woman he finds stranded at a taco stand when that is the absolute last thing on his mind, had me hook, line and sinker!

Nick and Josephine. The laid-back garage co-owner who was a bit of a bad boy in recent years together with the daughter of Hollywood royalty. There is no way these two should have ever met never mind find in the other their ultimate soulmates. But the sparks were immediate and Nick's chivalrous nature proved to be just what Jo needed. Can we all say irresistible? Le swoon.

I loved that Bliss took her time and yet Nick and Jo's love affair isn't terribly long when they both realize just how much they really do fit together. There are plenty of outside forces that threaten any sort of happy ending but when you have the Gallo family behind you, nothing ever seems to be impossible. Jo's world is nothing like the quiet, family-oriented world that is Nick's but like a frightened and wounded bird, she is attracted to the safety she never fully felt at any point in her life. Her need to flee when she might be discovered in this rural part of the country was completely understandable and yet it didn't deter Nick in making sure Jo was cared for and became his 'Babe' for good.

I've said it many times as I make my way through this wonderful series and the ones before it, and it bears repeating: there is nothing and I do mean nothing like the Gallo family. They are always at the very core of these characters and the desire for finding the perfectly imperfect mate made just for them. The values they have honed at their grandparents' and parents' knees, both literally and figuratively, give them the brazen yet very loving attitudes I find wildly addictive. And I was thrilled Jo could now be a part of this crazy crew, knowing that loyalty and love will never falter when you're a member of the Gallo familia.

Whether it's laughing out loud at the antics the women, in particular, continue to create, or the desirous ways each couple gaze at one another, I can't get enough of this well-written and heart-warming series. With what seems to be coming next, we may just be in for the most intense story-line yet as Bliss gives us just a taste of what might befall one of their own. A sharp bend in their lovely road that hopefully doesn't take any of them too off course.

Spark is without a doubt, one of Chelle Bliss's best yet and I happily give this book a huge 5 stars!

Spark is the 6th book in the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series. This is also a spinoff series and all the books have been GREAT to read. This is Nicholas “Nick” Gallo and Josephine “Jo” Carmichael’s story. Nick is Thomas and Angel’s son. They were in Uncover Me (Men of Inked, #4

These stories can be read as standalones but I totally recommend reading the series from the beginning. Chelle Bliss brings all the cousins, parents & grandparents back into her stories and it is great to catch up with them all.

Chelle Bliss just flat out writes the best stories!!! She really knows how to bring her characters to life! I want to be a Gallo!!! There are so many Gallo’s that it is sometimes a little hard to remember who’s who and this author had a family tree at the end of Ignite’s book. I wish she would put in each of her books as the family just keeps growing. You know all these Gallo’s have to have mates.

Book 1 - Flame - Pike Moore and Gigi Gallo
Book 2 - Burn - Pike Moore and Gigi Gallo’s story continued
Book 3 - Wildfire - JD “Mammoth” Saint and Tamara Gallo
Book 4 - Blaze - Jet Michaels and Lily Gallo
Book 5 - Ignite - JD “Mammoth” Saint and Tamara Gallo’s story continued
Book 6 - Spark - Josephine “Jo” Carmichael and Nicholas “Nick” Gallo

Another fantastic 5 Star read for me! I loved it!!! Ember (Men of Ink, Book 7 will be the next book in the series. Coming April 2021.

* I received an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review *

Spark is the newest book in the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series. This series follows different members of the Gallo Family. While each book can be read as a standalone, with the number of supporting characters in this book it would probably be a good idea to read all their books. When Jo went to the family dinner, I was overwhelmed with all the people.

It is impossible for you to not love Nick. Not many men would want to help a complete stranger. I was surprised that he offered to let Jo stay at his house. As much as they seemed to click from the beginning it seemed crazy. Normally I am not a fan of my hero to be as nice as he was, but Nick also had this edge to him that kept me interested.

I felt bad for Jo. Not only did she catch her boyfriend cheating on her, but she also had the worst parents, especially her mother. It just proves that money doesn't buy happiness. I do wish we got to see more of her life in LA. I never really saw her as that Hollywood celebrity that is talked about because she is never in that setting.

As much as I enjoyed this story, I felt like it was missing something. I am not a fan of insta-love and although it was somewhat believable, I wish we got to see more of their relationship growing over a longer period of time. I can understand that they fell for each other fast, but I would have liked it if we got a little more depth to their relationship. I also felt like the storyline with Jo’s mom and Jamison was a little far-fetched. I can understand them conspiring together, but I was a little surprised at the level they went to get her back. There was no inkling that any of these people were dangerous, so it seemed a little strange to me.

Spark is the story of Nick Gallo and the sixth title in the Heatwave series. Nick is also the son of Angel and Thomas Gallo who’s story was told in Uncover Me.
Nick and Jo’s story is a fast-paced whirlwind of a romance with a touch of drama, suspense and humor that is also engaging and entertaining.
Nick is a typical Gallo man, with a tough, sexy bold and brash exterior that hides an absolute heart of gold. This alpha is incredibly sweet, kind and protective.
Josephine is strong and sassy despite the fact that she was raised in Hollywood and is trapped by the expectations of her family and damaged by their aloof upbringing.
The chemistry between this pair is undeniable, and their banter is not only fun, flirty and sassy, but witty and filled with antagonistic commentary.
I loved the cameos from the original generation of Gallo’s and Nick’s cousins who have appeared in the previous Heatwave titles.
If you love a title with strong themes of family, friendship and love look no further than the Gallos.

Nick Gallo is sailing along in life. Working hard but enjoying life and doing as he pleases. Like all the Gallo's, family is very important to him, even if he wants to be nothing like his father. A chance meeting at a restaurant late in the evening sends his life spiraling. Will he hang on and embrace the ride? Will he do what he knows is right even though he doesn't want to get involved?

Josephine has just been shocked to the core when finding her boyfriend cheating on her. In her haste to get away from all the attention she finds herself in a small restaurant late at night. Where will she go from here? She is looking for a chance to just be, enjoy the little things of life and maybe just maybe find someone who likes her for her and not who she is.

Though their initial meeting isn't what I would call enjoyable. Nick can't let her stay in her car, so he offers her his couch and safety of his house. Nick's swoony side kicks in and he has a quick need to protect but let her learn and explore as well. Jo falls in love with the Gallo family as quickly and though she tries to tread lightly she can't help but be drawn to them.

Amazing chemistry, quick and fun story line, family and unconditional love to keep you warm and fuzzy. Another great Gallo story.

I have been wanting to try Chelle Bliss for awhile now to see if I was really missing something. Her books may be a little rougher (for lack of a better term) than what I usually read, but the storyline was good and her characterization brought it home. I honestly could have used a little less of the foul language at the beginning. It really made it so that Bliss had to win me over instead of me just going with the flow.

This can definitely be read as a stand-alone, but I wish I knew more of the background of the members of Nick's family. Nick was super protective of Jo, while letting her stand on her own when she needed to. The romance was fast, hot and sometimes sweet between them. I'm not much on celebrity characters, but it was treated like Jo's past and so that didn't bother me. I loved the sizzle between the two!

I listened to the audio version of this book. The narrations by Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield were very good. Sweet and rumbly respectively!

Thanks to the author and Valentine PR for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

Oh boy! Chelle Bliss does it again! I just love this Gallo family and Nick and Jo have stolen my heart!

Nick is all things alpha, all things swoon-worthy and the perfect man for Jo. He's a family man and a protector of women. Nick has a heart of gold, so when he meets Josephine aka Jo, he knows he has to help her.

Josephine has been dealt kind of a sucky hand, her family if you can call them that, aren't the caring type. She comes from a Hollywood family and needs an escape. These two meet and she reluctantly accepts Nicks help. There are, well we'll just say sparks between these two from the start! She's not bad too look at and either is he so the situation works for the two of them.

These two go through quite a bit in there short time together and they both soon realize their feelings are growing for one another. I absolutely love this story. I loved the world building and the continuation of learning more about this family. I loved the characters and of course some familiar characters we have seen woven in from other Gallo books, but don't be discouraged if you haven't read very much of the Gallo's this book can be read as a standalone and it is a read I highly suggest you getting your hands on.

Spark⚡️

At the end of the last book, we got a brief glimpse of Nick and his wild ways and Spark picks up pretty much from that point and introduces us to Jo, a crying lady at a diner in the middle of nowhere cursing out a man for cheating on her😢 Nick isn’t one to sit by and allow a woman to put herself in danger, so when he sees this same woman trying to sleep in her car - he offers her a place to stay❣️

Nick and Jo are from completely different worlds, but chemistry and attraction are sometimes all you need to feed the Spark that will set the world ablaze🔥 I loved this couple and catching up for a family dinner or two with the Gallos and I’m super excited to find out more about the twins next😍 A not to be missed story in the second generation series.....I received an advanced copy and I voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

I absolutely loved Nick and Jo’s story. These two characters were from very different worlds. Brought up with completely opposite family lives. But Jo had this need and desire to have more and she found so much more with Nick Gallo and this amazing family.

I fell even more in love with him when he created a Christmas experience for Jo since she never had one growing up. Jo never had that unconditional and unfailing love from her family. She didn’t even really have many friends.

Nick was happy just living life. He didn’t think he was ready to settle down. But after spending just a couple of days with Jo, absolutely everything changed. He knew she was it for him and he just wanted to be it for her.

Chelle always has this way of writing a fantastic story and ending it in a way that you are dying for the next book with the next member of the family. Now I’m “patiently” waiting for Ember to release.

Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield were wonderful bringing these characters together. It was bliss in my ears listening to another wonderful story from Chelle Bliss. I loved the emotion and energy they put into tgis story making it that much enjoyable.

I love the Gallos and love the words Chelle weaves into these stories. The emotion and love and family bonds are what keep bringing me back. Jo definitely needs a family and what better one than the Gallis to love her.

I absolutely loved the banter between Nick and Jo. From the moment Jo opened her mouth I knew she would fit in perfect with the Gallos and bring Nick to his knees.

The chemistry, sexiness and swoon are what make my romance heart flutter. Add the little bit of suspense and I'm in heaven.

I can not wait to read about the twins after that bomb Chelle dropped.

Where would I find these Gallo Men!!! Just like all the other Gallo men, Nick was another one that you will fall helplessly in love with. He loves the ladies and he enjoys his life, without drama 😊

Meeting Josephine Carmichael ‘Jo’ might be changing his life completely. She needs help desperately and Nick is just the man for the job. Being surrounded by lots of family, its what Jo has always wanted.

These two had amazing chemistry. The story is filled with humor, suspense, and lots of drama 😊

As usual these two narrators were spot on. Lance Greenfield is one of my favorite narrators and I loved him as Nick 😊 Samantha Brentmoor I discovered when I started this series, so I can’t picture anyone else as the character of Jo. I cant get enough of this family and their awesome love stories. Cant wait for the next one.

Oh how I love Gallo men! They just don’t make them like these guys in real life so thankfully, we can read about them lol
Well done to the author on another book boyfriend to add to my list!
Nick is the whole package and exactly what Jo needs.
Every once in a while you meet someone by chance and form an instant bond. That’s how it was for the two main characters during their chance meeting. Nick is...ahhhh I just loved him. His sweet, protective, gorgeous self!
Jo, I just wanted to hug her. I loved how the extended family embraced her, even as a stranger.
Love this family so hard! The secondary characters always make C Bliss’ books even better for me.
Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
